Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to obtain a detailed description of (1) Planning extracurricular activities in character building of students (2) Organizing extracurricular activities in character building of students (3) Directing extracurricular activities in character building of students and (4) Controlling extracurricular activities in shaping the character of students at PPM Al-Hasyimiyah Tebing Tinggi. This study uses a qualitative approach, the type of phenomenological research, and the descriptive analysis method. Data collection techniques are carried out by; participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The data analysis process is carried out starting from; data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Test the validity of the data by triangulation and member checks. The results of this study are (1) Planning for extracurricular activities in the formation of students' character is carried out in the form of preparing extracurricular activity programs which are then used as a reference in its implementation. The program development process is preceded by an analysis of the required resources, collaboratively enforced, and socialized at the beginning of the school year. (2) Organizing extracurricular activities in forming the character of students as a whole is integrated with the madrasa organization. The organizing process consists of; determination of resources, the division of tasks according to their field of expertise, determined by the Decree of the Head of Madrasah, making agreements to shape the character of students through routine activities, for example, spontaneous action, and conditioning. (3) The direction of extracurricular activities in the formation of the character of students is carried out to ensure that the implementation of activities is directed at the goals that have been set in the planning. The briefing process includes; implementation of activities according to the plan, the pattern of activities includes (introduction, core, closing), teachers/coaches prioritize exemplary, effective leadership, problem-solving together, commitment to tasks, functions, and roles, (4) Control of extracurricular activities in the formation of student character implemented through; monitoring, assessment, and reporting. The control process includes; monitoring the implementation of activities, evaluating activities through process assessments and results assessments, the majority of students obtain satisfactory results, but still need to optimize the existing elements in planning, organizing, directing and controlling, and efforts to improve the readiness of the supporting components are needed.Keywords: Management, Extracurricular, Character

Abstract

The research that has been carried out is entitled "Development of Anecdotal Text Teaching Materials Based on the TikTok Application for Class This research aims to develop anecdotal text teaching materials based on the TikTok application for class X2 students at Istiqlal Delitua Private High School. The methodology of this research is RND. The subjects in this research were class X2 students at Istiqlal Delitua Private High School. The data collection techniques are observation, documentation and tests. The assessment aspects used in this research are the appropriateness of the content of the anecdote text, the appropriateness of the structure of the anecdote text, the accuracy of words, the appropriateness of capital letter spelling and writing layout, criticism and humor. The research results show that the development of anecdotal text teaching materials based on the TikTok application for class X2 students at Istiqlal Delitua Private High School, especially anecdotal text material. The average obtained in general is in the very good category with a score of 90% from the media expert validation results, while from the results of the material expert validation the score is in the very good category with a score of 98% and from the results of student responses the score is in the good category, with a score of 82. 7% Thus, it can be concluded that the development of anecdotal text teaching materials based on the TikTok application for class

Abstract

Introduction: Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders are a common health problem with significant global prevalence. Effective management of TMJ requires an interdisciplinary approach involving various health professions, such as dentists, physiotherapists, and psychologists. Methods: This study aims to evaluate the effect of applying an interdisciplinary approach in the management of patients with TMJ disorders at Dr. M. Djamil General Hospital, Padang, Indonesia. A retrospective cohort study was conducted on TMJ patients referred to an interdisciplinary team between 2018 - 2023. Patient data was collected from electronic medical records and analyzed to compare the outcomes of patients who received an interdisciplinary approach with those who received a traditional approach. Results: The results showed that the application of an interdisciplinary approach in the management of TMJ patients at Dr. M. Djamil General Hospital, Padang, Indonesia was associated with significant improvements in patient symptoms, including pain, joint dysfunction, and quality of life. Patients who received an interdisciplinary approach also demonstrated higher levels of satisfaction with their care. Conclusion: Implementation of an interdisciplinary approach in the management of TMJ patients at Dr. M. Djamil General Hospital, Padang, Indonesia was associated with significant improvements in patients' symptoms and their level of satisfaction with treatment. This approach is recommended for the management of TMJ patients in all clinical settings.

Abstract

The general objective of this research is to improve students' outcomes through the implementation of Badminton Learning using Learning Media. Additionally, this research is conducted to gain in-depth information about the application of Badminton Learning using Learning Media. The research design employed is Action Research. The subjects in this study are 28 students from the Eighth grade at SMP Negeri 9 Langsa. The research consists of two meetings spanning two cycles. Each cycle comprises three sessions. The first cycle indicates that through action, students can self-motivate. From this first cycle, the result is 26%, indicating it is not yet completed. In the second cycle, as a reflection of the first cycle, it also shows that actions improve student learning outcomes. The result of the second cycle is 89%, indicating completion. Based on the findings of this research, it can be concluded that: (1) Badminton Learning using Learning Media enhances students' learning outcomes, (2) Badminton Learning using Learning Media motivates students and engages them actively in the learning process.
