ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work stress and work environment on organizational citizenship behavior with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The population of this study was all employees of the Office of Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises of Central Java Province, totaling 103 people. Samples were taken by all members of the population with the census method. Methods of data analysis using regression analysis and data processing using SPSS. The results of hypothesis testing show that work stress has a significant negative effect on organizational commitment. The work environment has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment. Organizational commitment has a significant positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Job stress has a significant negative effect on organizational citizenship behavior. The work environment has a significant positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. The results of the analysis of mediating variables using the Sobel test found that organizational commitment can mediate work stress on organizational citizenship behavior. Organizational commitment can mediate the influence of the work environment on organizational citizenship behavior. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Dinas Koperasi dan Usaha Mikro Provinsi Jawa Tengah yang berjumlah 103 orang. Sampel yang diambil seluruh anggota populasi dengan metode sensus. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi dan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukan stres kerja berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Stres kerja berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Hasil analisis variabel mediasi menggunakan uji Sobel, menemukan komitmen organisasi dapat memediasi stres kerja terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Komitmen organisasi dapat memediasi pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap organizational citizenship behavior.
