Abstract

This study aims to reveal whether Holland's career guidance is effective for the independence of decision making in choosing majors in tertiary institutions for class XII students of SMAN 2 West Sumatra. In an individual's life, there comes a point where he has to make a decision. Sharing higher-level forms of decision-making, for example regarding life and goals or careers. Every high school student must want or continue their studies at the desired college. Through Holland's career guidance, it is hoped that students or individuals will have preparation in selecting majors at tertiary institutions. This study aims to see the effectiveness of Holland's career guidance on the independence of decision-making in choosing majors in tertiary institutions for class XII students of SMAN 2 West Sumatra. The type of research that the authors use is a pre-experimental study with a one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique that researchers use is a questionnaire/instrument. Data processing using SPSS. In this study, the researcher provided classical services regarding Holland's career guidance to respondents who had low decision-making independence in choosing majors. The results of the study can be concluded that Holland's career guidance is effective in increasing the independence of decision-making choices for class XII students at SMAN 2 West Sumatra. This is evident from the results of the t test (paired Simple Test) which obtained sig results that were smaller than the error, so Ho in this study was rejected and Ha was accepted. In the data analysis, it was also seen that there was an increase in the average independence of decision making in the choice of majors given to respondents during the pretest and during the posttest. So it can be concluded that Holland's career guidance is effective in increasing the independence of major decision making for class XII students of SMAN 2 West Sumatra.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to find out the basic concept of guidance and counseling pattern 17 plus which is that guidance is centered on the individual self, based on the abilities and needs of the individual so that he is able to overcome himself and develop all the abilities he has. So Guidance Counseling provides consulting services which are a type of service from the pattern 17 system. Consulting services and mediation services are services resulting from the development of the pattern 17 system. At this time pattern 17 has experienced significant developments based on the conditions in the field. Now pattern 17 has changed to pattern 17 plus in which there are several additional services that are useful for students and the community in the school environment. BK supervision to increase the professionalism of BK teachers explained how to improve the professionalism of guidance and counseling, supervision and guidance from the principal as a supervisor is needed. The professionalism of counseling teachers and the role of counseling supervision in increasing the professionalism of counseling teachers aims to describe the professionalism of counseling teachers and the role of counseling supervision in increasing the professionalism of counseling teachers. In the application of counseling it is necessary to master skills and personality development. Counseling services for the Counseling Guidance Teacher profession are services that must be mastered properly

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini untuk mengetahui yang bahwasannya dalam pengawasan atau supervisi yang dilakukan dalam bimbingan dan konseling merupakan supervisi guru bimbingan dan konseling terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan, pemahaman guru bimbingan konseling dan mampu meningkatkan penguasaan praktik bimbingan. Dimana dengan pelaksanaan supervisi bimbingan konseling yang dilakukan oleh supervisor dapat membantu guru bimbingan konseling untuk meningkatkan dan lebih mengembangkan keterampilan dalam keterampilan layanan bimbingan konseling. Peran pengawasan membutuhkan banyak keterampilan dan nilai yang berbeda dari hubungan terapeutik. Supervisor harus memiliki pendidikan dan pelatihan untuk menjalankan perannya agar guru BK mendapat umpan balik secara berkala sehingga memiliki landasan untuk mengasah kemampuannya. Kegiatan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah, diselenggarakan oleh pejabat fungsional yang secara resmi dinamakan guru BK atau konselor. Kemudian supervisi kepala sekolah melakukan suvervisi terhadap kinerja guru bimbingan konseling, memberikan pelatihan terhadap kinerja guru bimbingan konseling, dan self efficacy terhadap kinerja guru bimbingan konseling, supervisi kepala sekolah, pelatihan, dan self efficacy secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru bimbingan.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode library research yang bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan informasi terkait dengan tantangan dan peluang dalam manajemen layanan bimbingan dan konseling di era digital.  Hasil library research yang telah ditemukan bahwa ada beberapa tantangan manajeman bimbingan konseling di era digital diantaranya: keamanan dan privasi, adanya kesulitan dalam membangun hubungan interpersonal, peningkatan peran konselor. Sedangkan peluang manajemen bimbingan konselng di era digital diantaranya: aksesibiltas yang lebih luas, inovasi dalam metode bimbingan dan konseling, kolaborasi dan konsultasi antara konselor. Namun, aksesibilitas yang lebih luas, inovasi metode, dan kolaborasi antar konselor adalah peluang yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Oleh karena itu, para profesional bimbingan dan konseling perlu terus memperbarui pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka dalam menghadapi perubahan teknologi ini.
