Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of suggestopedia method in improving the students’ speaking skill at the Language Preparation Program of College of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language (STIBA) Makassar. The methodological used in this study was quantitative experimental research by using a pre-experimental design. The data collection method used in the study were observation, test and documentation. The data analysis was conducted through descriptive analysis and inferential statistics by using the (t-test) technique. Therefore, the researcher conducted both pre and post tests so that the effectiveness of the suggestopedia method on students’speaking skill could be carefully determined. The results of the study with implementation of suggestopedia method were in the avarge of 0.000 which was considered to be smaller than 0.05. This indicates significant influence on students’ speaking skill using the suggestopedia method.

Abstract

This study aims to introduce one type of water in Indonesia, namely peat water and its use for ablution in the perspective of taharah fiqh. This research is a library research that focuses on the study of manuscripts and texts, using a normative and descriptive juridical approach. In analyzing the data, the researcher used content analysis. The results of this study are peat water that has not been processed, the law can be permissible, makruh or forbidden to use for ablution. It is permissible to use peat water whose pH and organic matter can still be categorized as normal, but it is makruh if it is used long term as a form of caution. If it has been processed into clean water, it is legal to use it for ablution even though the taste, color and smell have changed by taking into account the increasing demand for clean water. The legal decisions that have been made have not taken into account the adaptability that the community around peat water may have.

Abstract

This study aims to determine law of online gold investment in the Tokopedia marketplace application in perspective of muamalah fiqh. This research is a library research using a juridical and normative approach. In analyzing the data, the researcher used content analysis. Results of this study are the practice of online gold investment carried out at Tokopedia Emas based on a study of general arguments sourced from the Qur'an, and specific arguments from the hadith and the views of the mu'tabar scholars of the four schools of thought considered invalid/unlawful. because it does not fulfill the muamalah contract, namely the absence of the handover of goods (gold). Implication of this research is the public can know and understand the shari'a views on gold investment in the Tokopedia marketplace application so that Muslims will always prioritize the precautionary principle that comes from a knowledge in investing in gold.

Abstract

Shopee PayLater is an online buying and selling system that is paid in installments with the terms and conditions applied by Shopee. This research aims to find out how muamalah jurisprudence reviews the payment system using Shopee PayLater. This research is a qualitative descriptive research (library research) with a normative juridical approach method. The results of research on Shopee PayLater contracts including qarḍ contracts, namely Shopee PayLater electronic money loans for e-commerce, show that these loans are not permitted because they contain elements that are contrary to Islamic law, namely the element of usury. The implication of this research is that all parties, especially Shopee users, should pay more attention to the contracts used in transactions so as not to fall into contracts that contain prohibited elements in the Shari'a.
