Abstract

Studi kualitatif ini dimaksudkan untuk menemukan dinamika implementasi nilai inti di persekolahan. Penerapan nilai inti merupakan hal yang sangat penting karena akan memberikan kepastian keberlangsungan sebuah organisasi, termasuk persekolahan. Proses pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui proses focus group discussion yang melibatkan 12 orang kepala sekolah dan 28 orang guru. Berdasarkan informasi yang diperoleh, proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dilaksanakan. Bertitik tolak dari dampak yang diperoleh dan pengakuan dari berbagai pihak, penelitian ini menggaris bawahi pentingnya peran nilai inti dalam sebuah persekolahan. Nilai ini menjadi dasar dan tujuan pelaksanaan pendidikan di setiap persekolahan. Selain itu, studi ini menegaskan pentingnya penyiapan sebuah skenario implementasi nilai di setiap sekolah sekaligus kehadiran sebuah standar operasional prosedur yang mengikat seluruh pihak yang terlibat. Akhirnya, studi ini menggambarkan pendidikan yang berbasis penguatan karakter dapat menjadi sebuah alternatif pengembangan sebuah sekolah

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the affirmation of national commitment through religious moderation for students. In this study the authors used qualitative research methods with literary and argumentative review techniques. The results of this study indicate that in the world of education, as a student one must be able to balance obligations as a religious community and also as an Indonesian citizen. This realization can be realized through national holiday activities, for example becoming a paskibraka, participating in commemorating national holidays, participating in the Olympics, participating in extracurricular scouting etc.

Abstract

The diversity of religions in Polongaan Village is the uniqueness of the village. Tolerance between religious communities in Polongaan Village is expressed by the way of life of the people who are not exclusive with their differences. The most obvious tolerance of religious communities in Polongaan Village is the arrangement of houses of worship in one complex, so that this village is used as a model for religious harmony. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method by conducting interviews. The results of the study show that the Catholic people in Polongan Village have implemented their faith through concrete actions in the form of tolerance for all religious communities in Polongaan Village.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes can be influenced by several factors. Some of them are teacher leadership and school climate factors. This study aims to determine the significance of teacher leadership and school climate on student learning outcomes. The method used in this research is a survey research method. The population from this research includes all class X students at Cendrawasih Catholic High School.There are 106 students in class X and consisting of 46 female students and 60 male students. Sampling in this study was carried out by means of simple random sampling. The sample size was determined using Issac & Michael’s table. Sampling of this study were 84 and consisting of 38 female students and 46 male students. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Multiple Linear Regression analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that teacher leadership and school climate simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the learning achievement of Class X Cenderawasih Catholic High School students in the subject of Catholic Religious Education as indicated by the values of the regression coefficients and correlation coefficients which are positive. The implication of this research is to provide enlightenment to all teachers and everyone involved in the world of education that creating a positive school climate and good teacher leadership will have a very good impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research focuses on semiotic analysis of the film Sound of Freedom. This semiotic analysis aims to determine the interpretation and meaning related to the life values of the film. In this research the author uses elements from Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis method, with the limit of semiotic studies to the semantic level. This research is based on the understanding that film is not only a work of art that aims to entertain but can also be a communication medium that indirectly conveys human values. This film is an adaptation of a true story that tells the story of a United States government agent, Timothy Ballard (Jim Caviezel), who uncovers a child trafficking network in Colombia. The research method used by researchers is a qualitative research method using data originating from the results of document analysis and observations of texts. Technical data analysis was carried out using Charles Sander Peirce's semiotic theory. Researchers took Peirce's formula regarding objects which are classified into three, in the form of icons, indexes and symbols which are applied to each scene of the film Sound of Freedom. The results of this research show the human values contained in the film Sound of Freedom semantically. The results of this research show that the film Sound of Freedom contains human values. These human values include Respect for Human Dignity, solidarity, and sucriface for humanity.
