Abstract

Learning creative media can expedite and increase the efficiency of learning to lead to goals of learning that can be achieved owing to delivering easy message technology for learning purposes. This study aims to find out the effective development of learning media using electrocardiograms (ECG) in electricity and magnetic lectures. The population of this study was used students in electricity and magnetic lectures with a total of students 20 and samples were by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires with pre-test and post-test and conducted by statistical analysis Paired t-test. The average score of students before being taught using learning media using ECG is 6.65 and significantly increases to 8.40 after being given a learning media using ECG. The effectiveness analysis of learning media using ECG by Paired t-test showed there is a significant difference between before and after being taught using learning media compared to before learning creative lectures with results ?=0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, the development of learning creative media using ECG in electricity and magnetic lectures increasing of student knowledge which is fundamental considering utilize of ECG for possibly early detection of heart problems

Abstract

Creativity is one of the skills that must be possessed in the 21st century, especially by pre-service science teachers. However, in fact, the quality of pre-service science teacher creativity still needs to be improved. Therefore, this research aims to increase the creativity of pre-service science teachers through STEM Problem-Solving. This research uses a one group pretest posttest design. The sample in this study was 53 pre-service science teachers in the science education department at Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Increasing the quality of pre-service science teacher creativity is measured based on pretest and posttest scores. The pretest and posttest scores were then analyzed using N-Change. Apart from that, it was also analyzed statistically using paired t-test. This is used to ensure that STEM Problem-Solving really has an effect on increasing the creativity of pre-service science teachers. The research results show that STEM Problem-Solving is proven to significantly increase the creativity of pre-service science teachers. The category of increasing pre-service science teacher creativity is in the medium category. The majority of pre-service science teachers' final creative quality is in the creative category.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' creativity in Coding and Artificial Intelligence (CAI) learning on the topic of the Human Excretory System at SMP Negeri 3 Surabaya. This research employs a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of the One Shot Case Study type. The subjects were 33 students of class VIII H. The learning treatment applied was the Cooperative Learning model of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type, in which students worked in groups during the learning process but individually created their own HTML website about the Human Excretory System assisted by Artificial Intelligence (AI). Creativity was assessed using four Torrance indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The results showed that all four aspects were in the creative to very creative category. Fluency achieved the highest average (85.61), followed by flexibility (81.06), elaboration (79.55), and originality as the lowest (66.67). Although CAI-integrated learning effectively stimulated students' idea productivity, flexibility, and elaboration, the originality aspect requires further attention due to the tendency of students to adopt AI outputs without significant modification. It is recommended that future learning designs incorporate an independent brainstorming phase prior to AI use to optimally and proportionally develop all dimensions of student creativity.
