Abstract

Kepercayaan diri remaja berada pada kategori rendah, rendahknya kepercayaan tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya ialah kekerasan verbal yang dilakukan oleh orangtua. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kekerasan verbal yang dilakukan orangtua dan mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kekerasan verbal yang dilakukan orangtua terhadap kepercayaan diri remaja di desa Girsang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji kecenderungan, uji linier sederhana, uji hipotesis, uji t dan uji determinasi. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan bahwa besarnya pengaruh kontribusi kekerasan verbal orangtua terhadap kepercayaan diri remaja yang dihitung menggunakan uji t diperoleh sebesar 61,46% yang berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kekerasan verbal orangtua terhadap kepercayaan diri remaja di desa Girsang.

Abstract

This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design that aims to determine differences in students' learning ability by using andragogy approach and learning by pedagogy approach. Population in this study all students Department of PLS NIM 2015. Sampling is done randomly after given treatment In each class. Data collected through documentation, test, and observation method. Based on the result of t test on pre-test, it was known that the average value obtained by the students in the experimental group is 75.23, which means higher than the average value in the control group that is 72.50. In t test we got tcount = -2,688; Whereas ttable, namely tdf = 29; ∝= 0,05 = 2.04. This means that tcount > tdf = 29; ∝= 0.05. So the pre-test is quite different although less significant. In the post test, it can be seen that the average value of students in the experimental group is 89.50 higher than the average score of the students in the control group is 77.00. In t test we got statistical value tcount = -10.012; Whereas ttable, namely tdf = 29; ∝ = 0.05 = 2.04; Which means that tcount> tdf = 29; ∝ = 0.05. So, the two average values are significantly different significantly. Based on the results of statistical tests it is known that: (1) the learning results seen from the average score of student exam results in following the learning by using andragogy approach significantly higher than the students who Follow the learning by using Pedagogical approach, (2) there is improvement of numeracy ability and data processing of student which can be seen from study result and average value in student group that follow learning by using approach of andragogy higher than student group that follow learning by using approach Pedagogy. Kata Kunci: Internalisasi, Andragogi, Pedagogi

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe type of this study is quantitative research with a pre-test and post test design. The data were collected through questionnaire method. Hypothesis test was done by using t-test to test the existence of difference and Anova test to see the improvement of ability of the research sample that is to know the difference of ability (knowledge and skill) of PLS lecturer in producing scientific articles published in accredited national journals and reputable international journals through coaching clinic. The population in this study is all lecturers majoring outside of FIP Unimed Education. Sampling was done randomly by looking at the lecturers' teaching activity, research and scientific articles writing from their research results to the journal. Based on the statistical results, it can be seen that the minimum pre-test value were obtained 70,00 by LSL Lecturer before joining coaching clinic and the maximum value was 73,00. The average value obtained was 71.25 with a standard deviation value was 1.21. While the post test value obtained after the PLS lecturer joined the coaching clinic starting from the material in the classroom to the speker’s guidance, then the minimum value obtained was 74.00 and the maximum value was 85.00. The average value obtained was 80.41 with 3.11 standard deviation. While at the calculation of t Test were obtained a statistical value that t-calculate = -12.61; while t Table, ie tdf = 11; Α = 0.05 = 2.20. This means that t> tdf = 29; Α = 0.05. Thus, it can be said that these two average values statistically are significantly different. It means that in the post-test, the average value obtained by PLS Lecturer after attending the coaching clinic was higher than the average score obtained by the lecturer before attending the coaching clinic. Therefore, it can be argued that in addition to improving the ability in writing scientific articles, the implementation of coaching clinic can help PLS Lecturers to improve thinking, analyzing, writing and reviewing skill thus it can increase the quantity and quality of writing scientific articles to be published in the accredited journal. Keywords: coaching clinic, scientific articles, competence

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the role of organizational communication in supporting the development of educational programs within the Haga Pendidikan Ono Niha (HPON) community. Conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research gathers data through in-depth interviews with the HPON leader and supporting documentation. Findings indicate that HPON employs a democratic communication pattern that ensures equal opportunities for members to express ideas, opinions, and criticisms. The main communication dynamic is the emergence of differing viewpoints caused by variations in perspectives, communication styles, information gaps, and interpersonal factors. When consensus cannot be reached through deliberation, the organization applies a voting mechanism to maintain fairness and collective decision-making. Effective communication is found to strengthen coordination, enhance participation, and support the implementation of educational activities, particularly in outreach programs such as university entrance guidance. The study concludes that organizational communication plays a strategic role in improving program effectiveness and group cohesion while highlighting the need to strengthen interpersonal communication skills and deliberative processes within the community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of social communication among residents in the Gang Pertiwi Baru neighborhood, Bantan Village, Medan Tembung Subdistrict, Medan City. The method used was quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The study population consisted of 59 people, with a sample of 34 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted via a questionnaire using a Likert scale consisting of 20 statements. The data were analyzed using mean calculations. The results of the study indicate that the mean score for social communication was 4.36, which falls into the “very good” category. The indicator of community cooperation received the highest score, while the indicators of information dissemination and community participation were still relatively lower. This indicates that social communication has been effective; however, improvements are still needed in the equitable distribution of information and community involvement so that social communication can function more optimally.

Abstract

The study is aiming to determine the organizational constraints of Medan Science in terms of facilities and infrastructure as a medium in achieving organizational goals. this type of research uses field research with qualitative descriptive methods. The data was collecting by using interviews technique. The study results shows that there were obstacles found included aspects of facilities and infrastructure such as the absence of a place for students to channel their interests and talents for example football fields, badminton, and a place to channel the creativity of Alwashliyah students and the long distance between organizational branches in increasing cooperation, and relationships in need hours of time.

Abstract

Language development is an important aspect of early childhood growth because it is closely related to children's communication skills, thinking abilities, and social interactions. The family environment, as a form of nonformal education, plays a crucial role in providing language stimulatio1n for children, one of which is through storytelling activities. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the storytelling method by parents in developing early childhood language skills within the family environment. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research subjects consisted of two parents who have children aged 4-6 years and actively conduct storytelling activities at home. The study was conducted on Tuasan Street, Sidorejo Hilir, Medan Tembung District, Medan City. Data collection techniques included observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that regularly conducted storytelling activities can increase children's involvement in communication processes, enrich vocabulary, and build children's confidence in expressing their opinions. The use of media such as illustrated storybooks and storytelling delivered with expressive gestures and engaging intonation also enhances children's attention during the activity. Although there are challenges such as limited time and limited variations of storytelling media, storytelling remains a simple and effective method to support early childhood language development within the family environment.

Abstract

Language development is one of the important aspects of early childhood education. One of the methods that can be used to stimulate children's language development is the storytelling method. This research aims to analyse the application of storytelling methods and the use of learning media in the family environment as non-formal education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that the storytelling method supported by visual media such as picture story books and figure pictures can increase children's involvement in learning, enrich vocabulary, and improve children's communication skills. Learning takes place interactively between parents and children so as to create a fun learning atmosphere and in accordance with the stage of early childhood development.
