Abstract

The spread of the Covid-19 virus that has swept across the world has changed various aspects of human life, one of which is changes in the learning process in the educational environment, from elementary, junior high, high school, to university levels. Learning that initially relied on face-to-face lectures shifted to online learning. Not many students and students have to make an effort to keep up with the online learning process. Therefore the purpose of this research is to find out the problems / obstacles that students and students often face during online learning and to find out the role of Ruminjar in the effectiveness of online learning in Sopotinjak Village. This study uses a library research method where all data is taken based on journals, books, and direct observation.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what are the difficulties of tutors who hold degrees non-educational in the learning process of study group in Binjai. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with the research subjects were two tutors of learning groups holding non-education bachelor’s degrees in Binjai city which were determined purposively. Data collected by interview, observation and documentation techniques. Collected data is analyzed by steps: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The results showed that in the package B learning group learning process in Binjai City, tutors with non-education degrees had many difficulties in the learning process. The conclusion that can be obtained in this study is the difficulties identified are located in: (1) the learning planning process, namely the difficulty in preparing RPP and syllabus. (2) the process of implementing learning, namely difficulties in preliminary activities, core activities (exploration, elaboration, confirmation), closing activities, and (3) assessment of learning outcomes.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the form of developing assessment instruments for 6 subject assignments in KKNI at FIP Unimed. This study uses a development method with the ADDIE model namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The development of this assessment instrument begins with analyzing the needs of lecturers and students. Then do a literature study to gather material related to the 6 course assignments. After that the stage of making instrument assessment of 6 course assignments. This assessment instrument was also tested to all lecturers of the Faculty of Education Unimed to give a value of this assessment instrument of 72.85 with an average of 3.60 in the feasible category.Keywords: Instruments, Development, EvaluationABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk pengembangan instrumen penilaian 6 tugas mata kuliah dalam KKNI di FIP Unimed. Pengembangan instrumen penilaian ini diawali dengan melakukan analisis kebutuhan dosen dan mahasiswa. Abstract

ABSTRACTIn Indonesia, English begins to be taught in primary school from the first grader by adjusting to children’ ability. Teaching English by using games is one of the best ways to teach children. Games can be used to draw students’ attention to learn English. But, firstly, teachers should consider that a game must has an educational purpose and value, such as Whispering words game, Word family game, Words search game, Board race game, Hot seat game and many mores. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) Tingkat aktivitas penambangan pasir di Desa Naga Kesiangan, (2) Tingkat sosial ekonomi masyarakat Desa Naga Kesiangan, dan (3) Pengaruh aktivitas penambangan pasir terhadap tingkat sosial ekonomi masyarakat Desa Naga Kesiangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari hingga April  tahun 2020 di Desa Naga Kesiangan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif korelasional. Sampel berjumlah 73 responden yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Teknik analisis data dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji lineritas, dan uji hipotesis dengan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Aktivitas penambangan pasir di Desa Naga Kesiangan (72,22%)  termasuk ke dalam kategori Sering, (2) Status sosial ekonomi termasuk dalam kategori sedang yaitu sebanyak (47,2%), (3) dari hasil uji f regresi sederhana di peroleh Fhitung sebesar 14,825 dan Ftabel (3,1338) dan sig. 0,000.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of how parents perceive their children's learning activities at home during the Covid-19 pandemic in Gang Serasi, Berastagi District.  The purpose of this study was to find out an overview of parents' perceptions of their children's learning activities at home during the Covid-19 pandemic in Gang Serasi, Berastagi District.  The type of research used is descriptive with a quantitative approach.  The sample in this study amounted to 40 people.  Sampling using total sampling technique.  The data collection tool used was a questionnaire and the data were analyzed using data descriptions and trend testing.  The results showed that the parental perception variable on the cognitive, affective, and conative indicators as a whole was at an average score of 2.41 with a low interpretation.  The results of the trend test of the research variables showed that the research variables were at a very low tendency with the largest number of respondents, namely 62.5%.  The conclusion in this study is that parents' perceptions of children's learning activities at home during the Covid-19 pandemic in Gang Serasi, Berastagi District based on cognitive, affective, and conative indicators are in low interpretation criteria.  That is, parents consider children's learning activities at home to cause children to not understand learning, learning activities are not effective, children tend to be lazy in doing assignments, and parents are burdened because they have to teach children at home and supervise them.

Abstract

 Wanita yang menyandang status sebagai wanita karir memiliki tanggung jawab yang sangat berat. Dalam hal ini, wanita harus bisa membagi waktu antara keluarga dan pekerjaan. Peranan dari wanita karier dalam keluarga sangat berpengaruh terhadap terbentuknya keluarga harmonis. Apabila wanita tidak berperan dengan sebagaimana mestinya, maka kehidupan keluarganya tidak akan harmonis. Berdasarkan uraian di atas, adapun masalah yang ingin diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana peran wanita karier dalam melaksanakan suatu keluarga yang harmonis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran wanita karier dalam melaksanakan keluarga harmonis di Nagari Ganggo Hilia Kecamatan Bonjol Kabupaten Pasaman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek sebanyak 3 orang keluarga wanita karier. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi kepada keluarga wanita karier di Nagari Ganggo Hilia Kecamatan Bonjol Kabupaten Pasaman dan teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Milles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat beberapa peran yang dapat dilakukan oleh wanita karier dalam melaksanakan keluarga harmonis yaitu diantaranya : 1. Peran wanita karier sebagai istri dibuktikan dengan wanita karier yang menjadi teman hidup, penasehat dan pendorong yang baik bagi suami. 2. Peran wanita karier sebagai ibu rumah tangga meliputi peran memperhatikan kesehatan anggota keluarga, mengelola keuangan, manajemen waktu, memperhatikan kebersihan di rumah serta menjaga keharmonisan keluarga sudah dapat dilakukan dengan baik. 3. Peran wanita karier sebagai pendidik meliputi peran menanamkan sikap religius, menanamkan akhlak mulia, membantu keberlangsungan pendidikan akademik dan mendorong bakat dan minat anak sudah dilakukan dengan baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar statistika berbasis konstruktivistik dan mengukur kelayakannya dalam meningkatkan penalaran induktif mahasiswa pendidikan teknik bangunan. Pada umumnya mempelajari materi statistika memerlukan kemampuan penalaran induktif dalam memecahkan masalah dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Prosedur penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan Borg & Gall yang diadptasi dari model Dick & Carey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar statistika berbasis konstruktivistik memenuhi kriteria layak digunakan pada pembelajaran statistika digunakan dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran induktif mahasiswa yang merupakan hasil belajar yang ingin dicapai setelah pembelajaran statistika di kelas berakhir, ditunjukkan oleh penilaian ahli dan praktisi, uji coba satu-satu, uji coba kelompok kecil, dan uji coba kelompok besar.Kata Kunci: Buku Ajar, Kelayakan, Penalaran Induktif, StatistikaABSTRACT This research aims to develop the textbook of statidtics based on the constructivist and measure its feasibility in increasing the studrnt's inductive ressoning from aducation of building engineering. In general, studying statistics material requires inductive reasoning skills in solving the problems in the context of daily life. The type of research that is done is research and development. This research procedure refers to the development model of Borg & Gall that are adapted of the model from Dick & Carey. The subject of this research are the students from education of bulding engineering that take the subject of statistics. The result shows that the textbook of statistics based on constructivist fulfill the criteria for proper to be used in the learning statistics that is used in order to increase the ability of the student's inductive reasoning that is the result of study that want to be achieved after learning statistics in the clas has ended, demonstrated by thd judgment of expert and practitioner, the trial for one-on-one, the trial for small group and the trial for large group.Keywords: Feasibility, Inductive Reasoning, Statistics, Textbook

Abstract

Improving the quality of education cannot be done partially but must be comprehensive and sustainable.  A capable leader is needed to improve the quality of education in schools. This research aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership on teaching performance. This type of research is quantitative by using quantitative methods. Respondents in this study were permanent lecturers in the Teaching and Education Faculty, totaling 62 people. Data collection was carried out by distributing closed questionnaires to the respondents. The data analysis technique uses SPPS 25 analysis. Namely, the data that has been collected is analyzed quantitatively using path analysis, then proceed with a qualitative description to obtain a clearer picture of the results. This study's results indicate no significant effect of transformational leadership on the teaching performance of lecturers. These results suggest that the variable Transformational leadership has no significant effect on Lecturer Teaching Performance. Transformational leadership has no significant impact on the subjective well-being of lecturers. These results conclude that in structural II regression, the variable Transformational Leadership (X) has no significant effect on the Lecturer's Subjective Well-being (Y2). These results conclude that in structural II regression, the variable Lecturer Teaching Performance (Y1) has no significant effect on Lecturer Subjective Well-being (Y2).

Abstract

Marketing Mix Strategy In Gabe Catering In Medan City. This study aims to determine the marketing mix strategy at the GABE Catering business in Medan City. How are the strategies implemented during the GABE catering business journey in the face of increasingly dynamic business competition, the problems of the covid-19 pandemic, and the corella virus disease in 2019 in Indonesia, especially North Sumatra. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The number of subjects in this study 1 business owner and 2 customers as data validation. The analysis technique in this study uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The object of this research is the strategy of catering entrepreneurs in developing their business in the marketing mix of GABE Catering in Medan City. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis, it is found that there are several strategies that are carried out by GABE catering entrepreneurs in the city of Medan in developing their business, namely marketing mix strategies, strategies for building family relationships with employees, and strategies for building family relationships with customers.
