Abstract

Women and the environment are one unit. Starting from the cosmetic products they use to waste from domestic work affecting the environment. The role and contribution of women in managing and protecting the environment is very important. This study aims to find out how women's participation in protecting the environment. Information from this study was obtained using a survey method on women who are members of environmental care groups. The sampling technique uses saturated samples. The respondents were all members of the women's group caring for the environment totaling 25 people. The results of this study show that young and educated women are more active in participating. This is because of the drive in them to protect the environment. To increase their participation, they need to get education about the use of good and correct cosmetics so as not to overdo it.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of e-learning based learning methods in midwifery care courses on student learning motivation. This research is clearly analytic research with case control research method. Accidental sampling method, sampling technique slovin formula, univariate data analysis and bivariate analysis with Odds Ratio Analysis. The results of the study can be concluded that the results of statistical tests obtained OR = 0.070 (CI = 0.014-0.0314) which shows that E-learning has an effect of 0.070 times on student learning motivation compared to those who do not do E-learning. Because the OR value < 1 and the range of confidence intervals does not include number one, the hypothesis is accepted which means that E-learning based learning in midwifery care courses has an effect on student learning motivation.

Abstract

Isu stunting sampai saat ini masih menjadi prioritas utama di Indonesia dalam peningkatan kualitas tumbuh kembang untuk mempersiapkan generasi emas tahun 2048. Dalam permasalahan ini faktor penyebab stunting bukan hanya disebabkan permasalahan kesehatan dan intervensi pemerintah, namun lingkungan keluarga merupakan salah satu solusi pemecahan masalah dalam upaya terbaik mencegah stunting. Maka tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran pola asuh dato’ nene’ (grandparenting) cegah stunting berbasis budaya siri’na pacce. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode quasi-eksperimental dengan kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen pretest-posttest. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan populasi penelitian adalah ibu yang memiliki balita yang berada di wilayah kerja puskesmas jumpandang baru dan puskesmas bara-baraya kota makassar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari <nilai probabilitas 0,05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan uji coba antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok eksperimen yang signifikan dengan penerapan media edukasi video yang diberikan pada kelompok eksperimen. Dimana pada kelompok eksperimen yang diberikan penyuluhan menggunakan media edukasi video mengalami peningkatan pemahaman tentang peran pola asuh dato’ nene’ cegah stunting berbasis budaya siri’na pacce. Dengan diberikan penyuluhan dengan media video tersebut memungkinkan orang tua untuk memiliki tambahan wawasan terkait peran pola asuh orang tua terdahulu berbasis budaya sehingga sedikit demi sedikit dapat merubah tindakan pola asuh mencegah stunting dengan pelibatan dato’ nene’ dan tetap melestarikan budaya. Kata Kunci: Pola Asuh, Grandparenting, Stunting, Balita, Budaya Lokal   Abstract The issue of stunting is currently still a top priority in Indonesia in improving the quality of growth and development to prepare for the golden generation of 2048. In this problem, the factors causing stunting are not only caused by health problems and government intervention, but the family environment is one of the solutions to solving the problem in the best effort to prevent stunting. So the aim of this research is to determine the role of dato' nene' (grandparenting) parenting patterns in preventing stunting based on siri'na pacce culture. The research method used was a quasi-experimental method with a control group and a pretest-posttest experimental group. This study used a purposive sampling technique, with the research population being mothers with toddlers who were in the working area of the Jumpandang Baru Community Health Center and the Bara-Baraya Community Health Center, Makassar City. Based on the research results, it is known that the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 is smaller than <probability value 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in trials between the control group and the experimental group with the application of video educational media given to the experimental group. Where in the experimental group who were given counseling using video educational media there was an increased understanding of the role of dato' nene' parenting to prevent stunting based on the siri'na pacce culture. Providing counseling with video media allows parents to have additional insight regarding the role of culture-based parenting so that little by little they can change parenting practices to prevent stunting by involving dato' nene' and preserving culture.
