Abstract

Pasar Makale hingga saat ini masih memiliki kondisi sanitasi yang kurang bersih, salah satunya pada pelelangan ikannya. Kondisi lantai dan drainase yang rusak dan kotor menyebabkan adanya vektor lalat. Padatnya lalat disuatu tempat dapat menyebabkan timbulnya penyakit seperti diare. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kondisi sanitasi dengan keberadaan vektor lalat dipelelangan ikan pasar Makale. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Observasional analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional dimana variabel bebas dan variabel terikat diukur secara bersama. Jumlah sampel adalah seluruh pedagang yang berjumlah 70 orang dan kondisi fisik bangunan pelelangan ikan yaitu kondisi lantai, drainase, dan los pedagang yang di analisis secara statistik. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa hubungan kondisi lantai dengan keberadaan lalat diperoleh hasil p=0.034 < ???? 0,05 dan x² hit diperoleh 5.647 > x²hit 3.841 . Untuk hubungan kondisi drainase dengan keberadaan lalat p=0.001 < ???? 0,05 dan x²hit diperoleh 39.558 > x² hit 3.841. Untuk Hubungan Kondisi los pedagang dengan keberadaan lalat p=0.004 < ???? 0,05 dan x²hit diperoleh 9.643 > x² hit 3.841. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi lantai, kondisi drainase, dan los pedagang memiliki hubungan dengan keberadaan vektor lalat. Diharapkan kepada pengelolah pasar bekerja sama dengan petugas kesehatan untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan arahan kepada pedagang mengenai pentingnya menjaga kesehatan lingkungan, serta menyediakan tempat sampah disetiap los pedagang. Kata kunci : Lalat, Los Pedagang, Pelelangan Ikan.

Abstract

PHBS is all healthy behaviors that are carried out on the basis of awareness to help themselves and family members in the health sector and can play an active role in carrying out public health activities. Clean culture is a reflection of people's attitudes and behavior in maintaining and maintaining personal and environmental hygiene in everyday life. The PHBS indicators that are the center of this research are healthy latrines, clean water supply, hand washing with soap, and smoking habits.This study aims to evaluate the PHBS program in the village of Masalle, Enrekang Regency. This type of research is a descriptive research which describes, discloses and presents what is in accordance with the data and facts regarding the PHBS program that has been launched. The number of samples was 4 PHBS indicators, namely healthy latrines, clean water supply, washing hands with soap, and smoking habits.The results obtained from the results of the PHBS study in Masalle Village, namely in 2018, the indicators for healthy latrines were 94.0%, PAB was 100%, CTPS was 99.1%, smoking habits were 53.3%. In 2019 the indicators for healthy latrines were 94.8%, PAB was 100%, CTPS was 100%, smoking habits were 53.3%. In 2020 the indicators for healthy latrines are 95.3%, PAB is, CTPS is 100%, smoking habits are 53.3%.

Abstract

Aedes spp. and Culex spp. mosquitoes are major vectors of dengue fever and filariasis. The extensive use of chemical insecticides has contributed to resistance and environmental concerns, underscoring need for eco-friendly alternatives. Suren leaf extract (Toona sureni Merr.) contains bioactive compounds with potential as a botanical insecticide. This study evaluates suren leaf extract delivered via an electric diffusion device for indoor adult mosquito control at concentrations of 45%, 55%, and 65% against Aedes spp. and Culex spp. A post-test-only control group design was applied with three replications, and outcomes were recorded over a 60 minutes exposure period. Mortality increased with both concentration and exposure time. At 60 minutes, mortality increased from 80% to 100% in Aedes spp. and from 64% to 96% in Culex spp. when the concentration increased from 45% to 65%. Two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) confirmed significant effects of concentration and exposure time (p <0.001). These findings indicate that electric diffusion delivery of suren leaf extract is effective and supports its potential use for indoor vector control in endemic areas.
