This research aims to describe the nature of education according to the thoughts of educational experts in the classical and contemporary eras. Ibnu Miskawaih, Al-Qabisi, and Imam Al Ghozali represent the classical era. At the same time, contemporary-era thinkers will explore the views of Mohammed Arkoun, M. Amin Abdullah, and Fazlur Rahman. This research uses a qualitative approach to the type of library research. The data collection technique uses documentation from written sources/references from books, research results and relevant research journals. The data analysis technique is carried out in data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The research results state that classical era experts' views regarding the nature of education are how education can form people who are faithful and devout; education should pay attention to the formation of Islamic morals and character. Meanwhile, in the contemporary era, experts see a dichotomy in education. The results of this research provide several solutions to ensure that education does not have dichotomies between religion and science in the world of education, which is differentiated from general education and religious education.

This study aims to describe the dynamics of Integrated Islamic Schools in Indonesia, starting from the background of the emergence to the philosophical concepts and curriculum used. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature research approach. Data were obtained from references of research journals, related books, and websites. The results of this study indicate that the emergence of Integrated Islamic Schools (SIT) was motivated by the community's need for a complete education by balancing general knowledge with the cultivation of Islamic values. In addition, SIT has a mission of da'wah in it by preparing a young generation of Muslims who are strong and ready to preach. The curriculum used is the curriculum from the Ministry of Education and Culture combined with Islamic values so that there is an integration between general knowledge and Islamic knowledge

This study aims to describe the implementation of the concept of Muhammadiyah education at the secondary school level (SMA/SMK) to form a quality generation of Muhammadiyah in Pasuruan Regency and outline the supporting and inhibiting factors encountered in forming the quality generation. The researcher uses a qualitative approach, in which the researcher tries to describe as objectively as possible the findings in the field. This research was conducted in SMA/SMK Muhammadiyah under the auspices of the PD Muhammadiyah Dikdasmen Board of Pasuruan Regency. The schools are Muhammadiyah 4 Gempol High School, Muhammadiyah 3 Pandaan High School, Muhammadiyah 1 Pandaan Vocational School, and Muhammadiyah 2 Lekok Vocational School. Researchers conducted interviews with each of these institutions as well as conducting observations to photograph the state of education in the Muhammadiyah schools. The results showed that the Muhammadiyah schools had carried out education well in terms of formal service. These schools have a relatively small number of students compared to other schools because the focus on implementing the Muhammadiyah concept of education experiences obstacles besides that the majority of students have a Nahdlatul Ulama background '. The preparation of Muhammadiyah cadres from these schools could not be carried out optimally, so graduates from Muhammadiyah schools with other schools could be said to have almost the same characteristics. Supporting factors in the implementation of this educational process include; education staff, the majority of whom are still young, and have established cooperation with related parties. The inhibiting factors include; in put low students, educational facilities that do not meet standards, and community participation in operational financing less than the maximum. Pasuruan Indonesia S-PEAM Islamic Boarding School was established on August 18, 2015. The establishment plan was originated from the ideals of the Chairman of the Regional Government of Muhammadiyah Pasuruan City to have Islamic Boarding School as one of the cadre of Muhammadiyah's successor generation, with the hope that pesantren pioneered have a clear positioning on a national scale. Exploring the potential, skills and talents as a provision of life that is progressive, modern and entrepreneurial. While the label entrepreneur is a strategy to instill the values of entrepreneurial spirit in order to become a person who is empowered with creativity, positive thinking, high spirited, not quick to complain, not easily give up on the situation, have constructive productivity, and always think innovative to get something useful for himself and others. This research uses an action approach that aims to develop new skills for teachers by trying to find new approaches that can be applied directly and the results can be assessed easily. In this case the results of a process of students must be concrete which is not only proven by the results and achievements that are cognitive. The action research approach is very appropriate to find teacher skill development variables that can encourage the discovery of a new approach whose results can affect student outcomes. This study also seeks to find a parallel relationship between science, behavior, charity and moral action with descriptive analysis.

The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic, which is the main reason why the activities of the world community are diverted, from offline activities to online, cannot be separated from the Indonesian people who also feel the impact, especially the Indonesian education world. Community representatives in the education aspect are required to issue policies related to learning system innovations that can be used to cope with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study purposed to describe the process of inculcating moral education value to the student's learning during the COVID-19's pandemic (E-learning). Methods for extracting data by using literature study either through the theories from references sourced books or from research results from educational journals. The results of this study suggest that the cultivation of students' moral education is related to the active role of parents. Teachers need to build and carry out a comprehensive approach with the parents. The active role of parents can be in the form of giving a good examples and habits during the pandemic.

This study aims to describe the discovery learning model as a form of innovation in learning that can be implemented after the Covid-19 pandemic along with its advantages and disadvantages. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research. The results of the research can be conveyed as follows: (1) the discovery learning model is a model for developing active student learning by discovering themselves, investigating themselves, then the results obtained will be loyal and long-lasting in memory, will not be easily forgotten by students; (2) this learning syntax is stimulation, problem statement, data collection, data processing, verification, and generalization; and (3) this discovery learning model has many advantages, besides that it also has disadvantages but it has more advantages so that this learning model is very good to be applied in PAI learning.
