Abstract

West Java, especially Bandung, as one of coffee-producing regions has its own specialty coffee. The diversity of each type of coffee is an attraction for coffee lovers. Each type of coffee is well-known in various areas in Bandung such as Arjasari Coffee, Burangrang Coffee, Ciwidey Coffee, Gunung Halu Coffee, Gunung Tilu Coffee, Malabar Coffee, Manglayang Coffee, Palasari Coffee, Puntang Coffee and Tangkuban Perahu Coffee. Unfortunately, despite its diversity, there are still many who have not seen Bandung's distinctive coffee, especially for the coffee community and generally for the Bandung community itself. This designs are aims to introduce and provide information about typical Bandung coffee through the media in the form of a website based e-catalog. In the interview data used mixed methods, interviews and questionnaire interviews in Nocturna.id community. The results of this design can be seen that the media used works quite optimally, both in terms of access, distribution and coverage, so that is effective in introducing information about typical Bandung coffee.

Abstract

This research designed a promotional video for Sekolah Rimba Indonesia for parents of children aged 6-7 years in Bandung City. Sekolah Rimba, which was founded in 2021, focuses on non-formal education that develops students' interests, talents and life skills through interaction with nature. Promotional videos were chosen as the main media because they are more effective in conveying information than text. The research method used is qualitative with observation, interviews and literature studies to dig up in-depth information about this school. Promotional videos and additional media, such as trailers and Instagram feed designs, are designed to increase public awareness of Jungle School. This campaign aims to attract parents to register their children and support Rimba School as an innovative education center in Indonesia.

Abstract

Komunitas Petualangan Menuju Sesuatu ialah sebuah komunitas kreator konten yang fokus pada isu kesehatan mental melalui media komik yang menampilkan cerita para remaja dalam menghadapi dilema. Konten edukatif mereka, yang awalnya ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran remaja tentang kesehatan mental, justru memicu fenomena self-diagnosis. Banyak remaja, terpapar informasi tentang gangguan mental, mulai mengidentifikasi diri dengan gejala-gejala tertentu tanpa berkonsultasi dengan profesional. Padahal, mendiagnosis gangguan mental adalah proses kompleks yang membutuhkan evaluasi menyeluruh. Self-diagnosis, yang hanya berdasarkan informasi yang tersedia tanpa konfirmasi ahli seperti psikolog atau psikiater, berpotensi memberikan label yang salah dan memperburuk kondisi seseorang. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, dirancanglah sebuah video edukatif yang secara khusus membahas tentang bahaya self-diagnosis pada remaja. Perancangan video ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk memahami fenomena yang terjadi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, studi literatur, dan kuesioner.

Abstract

Lembang Park and Zoo is an educational tourism destination that has experienced a decline in visitors due to the impact of the pandemic. To address this issue, Lembang Park and Zoo offers an educational tourism program directed at elementary school students. This program supports the elementary school curriculum and increases visitor numbers. However, the lack of promotion made it less known among teachers and parents of elementary schools in Bandung. Therefore, more effective promotional media are needed to attract the attention of teachers, parents, and students and increase visitor numbers. This study identifies elementary school teachers' and parents' needs and preferences and the effectiveness of promotional media through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature reviews. The promotional video for the Lembang Park and Zoo Educational Tour Package is designed to introduce the educational program to teachers and parents of elementary students in an informative, effective, and efficient manner. The video is designed to ensure teachers and parents can easily understand the information about educational tours and animal knowledge at Lembang Park and Zoo. This study increases visitor numbers from the elementary school group segment and meets the need for quick and efficient information.

Abstract

This study examines the redesign of the Bandung City Special Dental and Oral Hospital (RSKGM) website to address usability and accessibility issues in public healthcare digital platforms. As digital health services have become increasingly essential, particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic, hospitals are expected to provide efficient, user-friendly, and integrated online systems. The existing RSKGM website presented several UI/UX weaknesses, such as the separation of registration and information pages and poorly designed call-to-action buttons, which hindered the user experience. Using a qualitative approach supported by interviews, observations, questionnaires, and literature review, the research applied the 5W+1H and SWOT analytical frameworks, followed by wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Results showed that 69.6% of users found the previous website unattractive and difficult to use, while 85.7% agreed it needed a redesign. The new website successfully integrated registration and information services, improved call-to-action clarity, and reduced registration time from 15 seconds to 1.5 seconds. The novelty of this study lies in its integration of User-Centered Design (UCD) and the AISAS communication model to develop a contextual framework for redesigning digital health services in public hospitals, offering a new approach that bridges usability, communication strategy, and institutional branding. The findings demonstrate how user-centered redesign can enhance efficiency, accessibility, and user satisfaction while providing practical implications for digital transformation in public healthcare institutions.
