The Application of 5M; Washing hands, Keeping a distance, Using masks, Avoiding crowds, and Reducing mobility are powerful weapons to prevent and break the chain of transmission of Covid 19 which until now is still mutating. Masks are recommended to always be worn when outside the home and when carrying out daily activities. Many people continue to wear masks when doing sports. The purpose of this study was to determine the hematological profile due to the use of masks at maximum physical activity. This study is a quasi-experimental study using a single group pretest-posttest design. The variables studied were the amount of hemoglobin, the number of hematocrits, the number of erythrocytes, and the number of leukocytes between before and after performing maximum physical activity. Data analysis was carried out by paired t-tests. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the amount of hemoglobin before and after maximum physical activity (p<0.05), there was a significant difference in the number of hematocrits before and after maximum physical activity (p <0.05), there was a significant difference in the number of erythrocytes before and after maximum physical activity (p<0.05), there was a significant difference in the number of leukocytes before and after maximum physical activity (p<0.05).

Abstract

Technical performance studies in professional football players need to be carried out intensely. The performance data from junior elite football was very useful for talent identification and further development. However, typical research is still rarely carried out, while previous research has focused on identifying talented players based on anthropometric, physiological, psychological, sociological and technical skills data. In this study, the assessment was no longer carried out from isolated situations but shifts to special assessments in real match situations, so that the results may contribute to talent identification. The purpose of this study was to assess the passing performance of elite junior football players in actual matches by comparing the performance of the Persipura U16 team in 2018 and 2019. The average value of passing, successful passing, and accuracy of passing in the 2018 season was 157, 101, and 66%, while the average value in the 2019 season was 167, 111, and 67%, respectively. Although the value increased slightly, however based on the calculation results there were no significant differences in the passing performance of the Persipura U-16 team in 2018 and 2019 league sessions. The results provide a recommendation that the practice session of passing techniques for junior football players, particularly Persipura U-16, should be carried out more in game situations and not in isolated situations.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to analyze the goals scored in the Waena Cup Tournament 2023, which took place in Jayapura City from 19 February 2023 to 26 March 2023. The sample of this research was composed of 40 games played and 89 goals scored in the preliminary round. Analysis of goal patterns was carried out using a statistical approach, limited to five situations, namely: set play, build up, build up, direct play and counter attack. Furthermore, the impact of the first goal was also given. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics of discrete frequencies with a reliability index of 1.00. The highest frequency of goal pattern was from counter-attacks at 43%, followed by set plays at 31% and rebuilds at 18%. Meanwhile, the lowest frequencies of goal pattern were from direct play and build up, with frequencies of 4% and 3% respectively. Players also gain a significant psychological advantage from the first goal in a match, with 77% of first goals resulting in winning. It can be concluded that in the 2023 Waena Cup Tournament, football players in Jayapura have the characteristics of scoring goals through fast and spontaneous actions supported by dribbling ability and running speed. The results of this research provide a recommendation that it is necessary to provide special sessions for set-play training and direct attacks to increase the chances of winning.
