Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Probolinggo are growing quite rapidly. Laweyan Village, which is one of the villages in Sumberasih District, which has quite a number of MSME actors. MSME actors need a permit as proof that the business does exist, operates, and is worthy of standing. The permit functions to foster, direct, supervise, and regulate the business activities carried out. Based on observations made of MSME actors in Laweyan, not all business actors have business legality. Some of the obstacles that cause business actors not to have a business license include: (1) not knowing the benefits that will be obtained by having a business license, (2) finding it difficult when applying for a license, and (3) not understanding how to apply for a business license. Mentoring activities are divided into 3 stages, namely distribution of socialization invitations, mentoring, and submission of NIB. Based on the data obtained, MSME actors are divided into 3 types of risk, so that in the future we can easily direct them to a better direction.

Abstract

In order to provide community service, 11 students from across departments at the Veterans National Development University in East Java carried out the KKNT-MBKM program with the Entrepreneurship and Creative Economy Village scheme located in Laweyan Village, Probolinggo Regency. One of the student work programs is to make product innovations for the Barokah Mushroom UMKM in Ombenan Hamlet, Laweyan Village. The work program was motivated by the problem of the lack of processed oyster mushroom harvests in the Barokah Mushroom SMEs. In addition, there is an opportunity when making oyster mushroom nuggets, such as: lower cost of production, optimizing harvests, frozen food products are more durable, and the high nutritional content of oyster mushrooms also contributed to the idea of ​​making mushroom nuggets. The main purpose of this activity is to overcome the problem of the lack of processed oyster mushroom products in the Barokah Mushroom SMEs. The method of implementing this activity is divided into three stages, namely: (1) surveys and interviews on Barokah Mushroom SMEs, (2) experimenting with oyster mushroom product innovations, and (3) delivering results and steps for making innovation products to Barokah Mushroom SMEs. As a result of these activities, students succeeded in making mushroom nugget product innovations without using preservatives where fried nuggets were suitable for consumption for 8 hours. Meanwhile, nuggets stored in the refrigerator have a shelf life of about one week.

Abstract

Botol bekas merupakan sampah plastik yang tingkat penggunaannya sangat tinggi. Tanpa adanya penanganan yang tepat, botol bekas akan menimbulkan berbagai masalah lingkungan. Hidroponik dengan media tanam botol bekas dapat menjadi solusi untuk mengurangi sampah. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat terkait budidaya tanaman hidroponik dengan media tanam botol bekas. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Ngepoh, Kecamatan Dringu, Kabupaten Probolinggo dengan sasaran warga desa setempat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan menggunakan metode sosialisasi serta praktek langsung pembudidayaan tanaman kangkung hidroponik. Kelebihan hidroponik yaitu dapat dilakukan meskipun lahan yang tersedia terbatas. Sehingga budidaya hidroponik ini cocok dibuat di pekarangan rumah. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini dapat membantu warga Desa Ngepoh untuk membuat tanaman hidroponik sebagai bahan pangan, peluang usaha, serta mengurangi sampah botol bekas di lingkungan sekitar.
