Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of direct instruction method. This research is a qualitativeresearch. The subject of the study was SLB CG-YPPCG Bina Sejahtera Surakarta. In this study using data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results show that the characteristics of students at SLB CG-YPPCG Bina Sejahtera Surakarta are experiencing slowness in doing something or difficulty in understanding and learning new things. Then the direct instruction method used in learning is that the teacher provides learning with a simple and sequential arrangement of steps. So with this model direct instruction learning can improve social skills for mentally retarded children at SLB CG-YPPCG Bina Sejahtera Surakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the creativity of PAI teachers in the use of audio-visual learning media at SMP Al-Islam 1 Surakarta. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The subject of this research is SMP Al-Islam 1 Surakarta. The technique used in this research is observation, interview, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that with PAI teacher planning in the use of audio-visual learning media, teachers can plan the learning process by utilizing video and powerpoint as a message delivery in learning. Also, the creative efforts of PAI teachers in using audio-visual learning media are quite creative. PAI teachers make good use of the facilities and infrastructure available at the school. The types of media used, namely: LCD, laptop, and sound. By using audio-visual media, teachers can develop new ideas in the learning process and can make it easier for students to understand the material presented by the teacher so that the learning process can run effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Tasmi'/Talqin, Tafahum, Tikrar, and Muraja'ah (3T+1M) methods in learning to memorize the Qur'an. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research is the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an House of Amal Syuhada Gajahan Pasar Kliwon Surakarta. With data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis used to describe the research results are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the 3t + 1M method is through the planning, implementation and evaluation process by showing the results that many students have improved memorization, quality and are in accordance with the targets set by the management and the Ustadz/ustadzah.
