Abstract

Islam, Banjarese, is a religious identity that cannot be separated from their identities. The symbolic manifestations of their religiousity appear in the form of religious ceremonies associated with the life cycle, such as marriage, giving birth, and death. One important phase of life for the people of Banjar is the birth phase. The birth of a baby has a sacred meaning in the social life of Banjar. The presence of a baby in the family is often called for a special ceremony or ritual which is loaded with belief and religious symbols and values. The study has identified that all the cultural procession which surrounds the birth of an individual contain many educational values of Islam. This is evident in several stages through the birth phase in the tradition of Banjar, such as mandi badudus, batasmiyah/aqiqah, batindik, baayun, and bakhitan

Abstract

AbstrakPenduduk desa Anjir Pasar Lama terdiri dari suku Melayu Banjar, beragama Islam dengan mata pencaharian bertani serta bersawah/ladang. Namun kurangnya kesadaran untuk mempraktekkan keterampilan para ibu-ibu dalam melakukan berbagai aneka olahan berbahan dasar komoditas pertanian menjadi produk makanan yang berorientasi pasar (siap jual), kalaupun ada olahan yang lain, maka nilai jualnya relatif rendah, sedangkan bahan baku sudah siap tersedia di lingkungan sekitar lingkungan mereka.Dengan demikian perlu untuk memberdayakan warga Desa Anjir Pasar Lama yang merupakan daerah perbatasan agar berusaha meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga. Adapun program pelatihan pengolahan kue berbahan dasar beras dan ketan berupa materi kewirausahaan, pembuatan kue dengan berbagai variasinya, pengemasan, serta menganalisis dari sisi ekonomi. Pembuatan kue mungkin sudah menjadi kebiasaan masyarakat terutama para ibu, tetapi masih belum berorientasi jual yang tinggi. Oleh karena itu diperlukan penanganan untuk pelatihan pengolahan yang selanjutnya dijadikan produk makanan, yang siap dijual sehingga masyarakat sekitar dapat memiliki pendapatan tambahan. Pelatihan pembuatan kue ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pemberdayaan secara maksimal melalui kelompok wanita/ isteri-isteri petani. Penetapan prioritas kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui diskusi kelompok dengan berbagai pihak terkait. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR). Metode PAR diterapkan dalam kegiatan pemberdayaan yang mencakup: pendidikan, pembelajaran, pelatihan, pemberdayaan, pengorganisasian, pedampingan, dan pembinaan. Jenis luaran dari kegiatan tersebut meliputi: (a) pengetahuan dan keterampilan wanita istri petani dalam usaha produksi makanan olahan berbahan komoditas pertanian seperti tepung beras dan tepung ketan, (b) Kelengkapan sarana/ alat produksi pembuatan kue (c) terbentuknya unit usaha baru yang bergerak dalam kue berbahan dasar komoditas padi dan ketan pada khususnya. Kata Kunci : Nilai Tambah, Pemberdayaan Istri PetaniAbstractAnjir Pasar Lama Villagers consists of Malay Banjar. The population is Moslem with subsistence farming and having felds. However, the lack of awareness to practice the skills of the women in performing a variety of different preparations made from agricultural commodities into food products market-oriented (ready for sale), if any processed else, then the resale value is relatively low, while the raw materials readily available in the environment their neighborhood. Therefore, it is necessary for the handling of the subsequent training to be a food product, ready for sale so that the surrounding community may have additional income. Training baking is done with the approach used in these activities is maximized through the empowerment of groups of women or wives of farmers. Prioritization of these activities are done through group discussions with various stakeholders. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR). PAR methods applied in empowerment activities that include: education, learning, training, empowerment, organizing, mentoring, and coaching. Type outcomes of these activities include: (a) the knowledge and skills of women or wives of farmers in the business of production of processed food made from agricultural commodities such as rice four and glutinous rice four, (b) Completeness of facilities / production equipment baking (c) the establishment of a new business unit that moves in a cake made from glutinous rice commodities and in particular

Abstract

 Islam with its monotheistic teachings is very tolerant of differences in religious beliefs. We must show the equality to all people of all religions and beliefs. This article describes how Islam views egalitarianism by referring to the portrait of the fulfillment of rights for Kaharingan adherents in Palangka Raya City. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Kaharingan integration into Hindu Kaharingan provides convenience for its adherents. This convenience can be enjoyed by Kaharingan adherents because Hinduism is one of the religions recognized by the state, so that it has an impact on the ease of state administration. The fulfillment of the civil rights of adherents of the Kaharingan adherents cannot be separated from the role of the Kaharingan Hindu Religious Council (MBAHK) which is a bridge between its adherents and the government. With the integration process of Kaharingan into Hinduism, all basic rights of Kaharingan adherents can also be fulfilled by the state properly.   Islam dengan ajaran tauhidnya sangat toleran terhadap perbedaan keyakinan beragama. Kita harus menunjukkan kesetaraan kepada semua orang dari semua agama dan kepercayaan. Artikel ini memaparkan bagaimana Islam memandang egalitarianisme dengan merujuk pada potret pemenuhan hak bagi penganut Kaharingan di Kota Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Integrasi Kaharingan ke dalam Hindu Kaharingan memberikan kemudahan bagi penganutnya. Kemudahan tersebut dapat dinikmati oleh penganut Kaharingan karena agama Hindu merupakan salah satu agama yang diakui oleh negara, sehingga berdampak pada kemudahan penyelenggaraan negara. Pemenuhan hak-hak sipil penganut Kaharingan tidak lepas dari peran Majelis Agama Hindu (MBAHK) Kaharingan yang menjadi jembatan penghubung antara penganutnya dengan pemerintah. Dengan proses integrasi Kaharingan ke dalam agama Hindu, semua hak dasar penganut Kaharingan juga dapat dipenuhi oleh negara dengan baik.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic boarding schools in the development of Islamic education in Indonesia, especially in the 19th to early 20th centuries, and its impact on the national movement and social transformation. This study uses a qualitative approach with historical methods, relying on literature studies and data analysis from various secondary sources such as books, journal articles, and related documentation. The results of the study show that Islamic boarding schools as traditional Islamic educational institutions, not only function as centers of religious learning, but also as agents of social change and character formation. Through religious education that teaches moral values, ethics, and a spirit of independence, Islamic boarding schools play a strategic role in introducing nationalism and fighting colonial occupation. This study also identifies the modernization of Islamic boarding schools after independence, which integrates formal education and science with a religion-based curriculum. In addition, this study highlights the challenges and opportunities of Islamic boarding schools in the digital era and globalization, which paves the way for the development of Islamic boarding school education that is more adaptive to the needs of the times. The findings of this study indicate that Islamic boarding schools not only play a role in maintaining Islamic identity, but also in forming a society that is nationalistic, competitive, and ready to face global challenges. This research is expected to contribute to the development of Islamic education that is relevant to the social and cultural context of today's Indonesia.

Abstract

This study discusses the dynamics of Islamisation in the Indonesian archipelago through a literature review of the process, the role of key figures, and models of cultural acculturation. Islamisation in the Indonesian archipelago took place gradually through various channels, such as trade, education, politics, and the arts, each of which exhibited different characteristics in each region. The central role of key figures, such as saints, scholars, and sultans, was crucial in integrating Islamic teachings into local social and cultural structures, thereby accelerating the acceptance of Islam among the people. Adaptive acculturation strategies enabled the harmonisation of Islamic values with pre-Islamic traditions, resulting in a distinctive, moderate, and inclusive form of Islam. These findings confirm that the Islamisation process in the Nusantara region not only brought about religious changes but also shaped the cultural and social identity of Indonesian society to this day.
