Abstract

Although Sufism is not a central theme of Nurcholish Madjid works, thisarticle will discuss aspects of Sufism in Nurcholish Madjids point of viewbecause his ideas of renewal which is loaded with depth of knowledge,modernity and humanity, show an appreciative attitude towards Sufism. Thisdiscussion found that Nurcholish Madjid notice the essence of diversity inSufism such as taqarrub, the meaning of worship, akhlak al-karimah (gooddeed), and actively involved in social life. Those points are very relevant toreligious life now and in the future.

Abstract

The manifestation of human superiority as ‘ahsan al-taqwim’ can be interpreted as the process of developing the level of "inner aspect" of the human called ‘nafs’. In this context the dimensions of ‘nafs’ or soul that exists in the human still leaves a long discussion to be examined further for the purposes of parsing, forecasting and controlling human behaviour, either individually or in groups, both in relation to the field of ‘da'wah’ or education, for the benefit of mobilizing society in nation-building. Therefore, a research on the concept of ‘taswiyah al-nafs’ in the development of the human person becomes important to be conducted. The results has shown that in the process of ‘taswiyat al-nafs’, besides having the freedom of will and choosing between ‘fujur’ or ‘taqwa’ tendencies, man also have the moral responsibility implied as a subtle command and indirectly to take and choose ‘taqwa’. It is because, the essence of ‘taqwa’ is the mastery, control and self-preservation of ‘al-ahwa'. ‘Taqwa’ as an effort of mastery, control and self-preservation is a prerequisite for the process of human development as a civilized being. The effort is essentially a process of an endless human self-development to reach the ideal of ‘insan kamil’—a perfect man reflecting the names and attributes of God—‘al-asma'ul-husna’.

Abstract

This article intends to explore Sufism about the pluralism of religion. Khazanah Sufism is known synonymous with the esoteric approach in religion. Through this esoteric approach, the unity of religions or pluralism is very likely to be achieved, because all religions ultimately meet God. In Islam this aspect of esotericism is known to be discussed by Sufism or Sufi figures who have many concepts of unity (al-wahdat) such as Wahdat al-Wujud, Wahdat al-Syuhud, Wahdat al-Ummah and Wahdat al-Adyan. This article is the result of library research that raises the issue of Sufi treasures around religious pluralism. The study in this paper can be considered important, theoretically besides being able to enrich the treasury of Islamic thought more specifically in the field of Sufism, it can also strengthen the theological basis for understanding pluralism of religion, which at the level of praxis can encourage a more harmonious relationship between and among adherents of religion that different. Moreover, if so far the discourse on religious pluralism is considered to always refer to the works of Western religious scholars, those who define pluralism as the view that the One manifests to many or that particular religions are a response to the Almighty, in fact some Sufism or Sufi figures actually have long, first discuss it philosophically and deeply.

Abstract

Soroush is a Muslim and comes from a society where political discourse and political debate are still struggling to resolve religious relations with politics and therefore the types of arguments and concerns he gives to secular liberal democracy mainly come from that background. Moreover, the implication of Soroush's political theory is that God was ruled out, not because of social evolution and the ability of human beings to manage their lives based on his own knowledge and collective rational consensus, but by deliberate political decisions to expel him from sociopolitical life.

Abstract

Abstract: Abstract: This study aims to determine what if the divorce that was dropped was based on coercion. The method used in this research is literature study which discusses the concept of talak from the Hanafi and Syaf'ii schools. This research proves that the Hanafi Madzhab, the law of divorce for people who are forced to remain legitimate (fall) because they say it (lafadz), is accompanied by an intention or not according to the Hanafi School, lafadz is one of the legal requirements for dropping talak. Furthermore, the Hanafi Islamic School is of the opinion that from the point of view of the objectives of the Shari'a, an action that is done because it is forced is invalid.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana jika talak yang dijatuhkan itu berdasarkan paksaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka yang membahas tentang konsep talak dari mazhab Hanafi dan Syaf’ii. Penelitian ini membuktikan Madzhab Hanafi hukum talak orang yang dipaksa tetap sah (jatuh) karena ia mengucapkanya (lafadz), disertai niat ataupun tidak menurut Madzhab Hanafi, lafadz merupakan salah satu syarat sah dalam menjatuhkan talak. Lebih lanjut Madzhab Hanafi berpendapat dari segi tujuan syariat bahwasanya perbuatan yang dilakukan karena dipaksa maka tidak sah perkataannya.
