Abstract

This study aims to find out how the cooperation network of foreign libraries in general is, to find out how the concept of cooperation network for foreign libraries is, and to find out what aspects of the constraints that occur in the process of networking cooperation for foreign libraries. The type of research used in this research is library research or library research, namely research conducted through collecting data or scientific writings that aim at research objects or data collection that is library in nature, or studies that are carried out to solve a problem that basically focuses on on a critical and in-depth review of relevant library materials. This research resulted that the collaboration and library network between foreign libraries that have been carried out so far have placed more emphasis on culture where this is due to the existence of cultural similarities (cognate) so that the collaboration that has been carried out is more focused on identifying and maintaining sources of information on Bornean culture. Abstract

Information literacy analysis of SDIT Al-Ikhlas reading garden is the focus of this research. Examination of information literacy in the reading garden of the SDIT Al-Ikhlas educational foundation is the subject of this study. Through direct interviews and documentation, this study used a qualitative research approach. Based on the findings of this study, children's magazines, math and science comics, and children's magazines are types of children's collection materials that can be found in reading gardens. Children's comics are the type of children's collection material that is most often read and used, while children's magazines are the type of children's collection material that is rarely used or read. Abstract

This study aims to describe information seeking behavior through online video media by students of the Faculty of Letters, University of North Sumatra and the information needs of students of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of North Sumatra with the Uses and Gratification Approach through online video media. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive study type. The research data is in the form of analysis results regarding information seeking behavior through online video media and information needs with the Uses and Gratification approach through online video media. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews. Instruments used to collect data using questionnaires and structured interviews. Based on the research results, it is concluded as follows. First, students of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology are able to search for information through online video media with coherent stages, namely starting, chaining, browsing, monitoring, differentiating and extracting. Second, students are able to meet information needs with the Uses and Gratification approach starting from cognitive needs, affective needs, personal integration needs, social integration needs and escape needs.
