Abstract

This research examines the management of the Fieldwork Practice Supervisors (PKL) in improving work discipline and the obstacles faced by the Fieldwork Practice Supervisors (PKL) at SMK Negeri 2 Luwu Utara. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were the supervisors of the Fieldwork Practice (PKL) program for students of SMK Negeri 2 Luwu Utara, totaling eight people. Data was obtained by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: 1) The discipline of students at SMK Negeri 2 Luwu Utara who carried out Fieldwork Practices (PKL) was in good condition. 2) Management supervision of Fieldwork Practices (PKL) in improving the work discipline of students of SMK Negeri 2 Luwu Utara who take part in Fieldwork Practices (PKL) is carried out through three stages, namely: a) planning, b) implementation, and c) supervision consisting of direct supervision and indirect supervision; 3) Obstacles faced by supervisors for fieldwork practices (PKL) in improving the work discipline of students of SMK Negeri 2 Luwu Utara who take part in Fieldwork Practices (PKL) include internal factors originating from students, namely the nature and character of students and external factors, namely those originating from outside students such as the environment; and 4) Solutions to increase the work discipline of students at SMK Negeri 2 Luwu Utara who take part in Fieldwork Practices (PKL), namely by setting an example, providing motivation in applying discipline and imposing sanctions for violations committed.

Abstract

This study aims to find the concepts and types of learning theory, describe the application of learning theory in PAI learning, and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of learning theory in PAI learning. The method applied in this study is a qualitative research method with a type of literature review. The result of this study is the concept of learning theory’s' was a theory that is used in the learning process in the classroom and outside the classroom that begins with designing the proper method. Various learning theories are Behavioristic, Cognitive, Constructivist, and Humanistic. Its application in PAI learning is that behavioristic theory makes it easier for educators and students in learning process. The cognitive theory implementation in PAI learning can also manifest noble character in students by adhering to the base sources of Islamic teachings. The application of constructivist theory in learning can be done through the five senses, experience, and the environment that will give birth to new knowledge constructions. At the same time, this humanistic theory can be used as a role model in PAI learning to humanize humans. Every theory applied in the PAI learning process certainly has advantages and disadvantages. The advantages and disadvantages of each approach in its application in PAI learning allow an educator to use all theories in a lesson, its goal is to complement one theory with other.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan Islam sebagai suatu organisasi perlu dibahas sebagai upaya perbaikan pada masa yang akan datang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan, konsep karakteristik organisasi, proses implementasi, dan implikasinya dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis library research. Hasilnya adalah bahwa konsep karaktersitik organisasi dalam lembaga pendidikan dapat menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang Islami yang efektif dan berkualitas. Implementasi karakteristik organisasi yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam akan memberikan landasan yang kuat bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Proses implementasinya yaitu dengan: Membangun visi, misi, dan nilai inti, Menerapkan tata kelola yang baik, Membangun budaya organisasi yang Islami, Menyusun kurikulum Islami, Mengintegrasikan ajaran Islam dalam pembelajaran, Melibatkan orang tua dan masyarakat, Melakukan evaluasi dan perbaikan berkelanjutan. Adapun implikasinya yaitu: a) Semua kegiatan pendidikan didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip Islam. b) Mendapatkan pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang agama Islam dan keterampilan praktis dalam menjalankan ajaran agama, c) Memberikan fasilitas dan waktu yang cukup untuk menjalankan ibadah sehari-hari. d) Pembiasaan hidup dalam suasana religius, e) Terbentuk karakter yang kuat dalam melaksanakan ajaran agama, f) lingkungan yang mempromosikan nilai-nilai Islam, g) Mendapatkan dukungan yang kuat dari keluarga dan komunitas dalam mengembangkan keimanan, akademik, dan kehidupan sosial. Diharapkan, penelitian ini dapat memberikan perbendaharaan konsep karakteristik organisasi untuk diimplementasikan di lembaga pendidikan Islam sehingga berimplikasi positif bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam khususnya dan lembaga pedidikan pada umumnya.

Abstract

Implementing the Independent Curriculum is increasingly urgent in efforts to improve the quality of education that is more flexible, relevant, and adaptive to students' needs. However, problems are still related to the effective implementation of the independent curriculum in educational institutions, especially at the Islamic-based madrasa level. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation strategy of the Independent Curriculum at MAN Palopo, as well as to identify the challenges faced and opportunities that can be optimized. Using a qualitative method with a case study type, this study found several main strategies, such as classroom adjustments, digital skills development through technology, interest-based learning, and intensive teacher training. The main findings show that MAN Palopo has demonstrated a high commitment to implementing the Independent Curriculum, including integrating technology and project-based learning, but faces limited facilities, time management, and teacher training that still needs improvement. The implications of this study include the need to improve facilities and infrastructure, fulfil the need for technological devices, ongoing training for teachers, and more efficient time management to ensure that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum runs optimally and sustainably.
