Abstract

Latar Belakang Permasalahan kesehatan khususnya masalah personal hygiene merupakan masalah yang sangat kompleks. Penerapan personal hygiene pada penjamah makanan dan minuman yang dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya kontaminasi. Dampak yang sering timbul didalam personal hygiene yaitu dampak fisik. Seseorang banyak menderita gangguan kesehatan akibat tidak terjaganya kebersihan perorangan yang baik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik pekerja terhadap personal hygiene penjamah makanan jasa boga golongan B Asrama Haji Kota Palembang. Metode penelitian, penelitian ini menggunakan metode cross sectional yaitu penelitian untuk mencari hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji chi-square didapatkan bahwa jenis kelamin dengan personal hygiene penjamah makanan didapatkan (p=0,031), Umur (p=0,011), Tingkat Pendidikan (p=0,376). Simpulan : ada hubungan antara jenis kelamin dan umur serta tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dengan personal hygiene penjamah makanan jasa boga golongan B Asrama Haji Kota Palembang

Abstract

Background: Cappuccino iced drink is one of the most popular drinks people are interestedin, if in the management of drinks it is not hygiene and sanitary may result in the presence of ingredients in food and drink that can cause health problems for consumers. Purpose: The purpose of this research to analyze the relationship of sanitary hygiene with the presence of bacteria esccherichia coli on a cappuccino iced drink. Method: Using a Cross Sectional Research Design. Research Sample were 30 person. Types of Qualitatif Results: Based on statistical tests with the Chi Square test, the p value is ≥ 0,05 (0,201) so That Ha is rejected, meaning there is no relationship between Knowledge and Personal Hygiene. The results of statistical tests with the chi square test show a p value of ≤ 0,001 ) p value ≤ 0,05) Ha is accepted, meaning there is a relationship with Attitudes towards Personal Hygiene. The results of the Chi Square Statistical test showed that the p value was ≥ 0,05, namely 0,113, so Ha was rejected, meaning there was no relationship between behavior and Personal Hygiene. Conclusion: It shows that there is a relationship between personal hygiene of handlers, there is a relationship between equipment sanitation hygiene, there is a relationship between sanitation hygiene at places where drinks are sold, and there is a relationship between ice cappuccino vending facilities and the presence of Escherichia coli bacteria by showing a value of (p<0.05), there is no relationship between raw materials. with the presence of Escherichia Coli bacteria in the iced cappuccino drink showing a value of (p>0.05), the OR value = 8.333, meaning that Hygiene Sanitation of Raw Materials has an 8.33 times chance of the presence of Escherichia Coli bacteria, while from laboratory results it is 6.7% of all iced cappuccino drink samples were positive for Escherichia Coli and 9.33% of iced cappuccino drink samples were negative for Escherichia Coli in accordance with RI Minister of Health Regulation No. 1096/MENKES/PER/IV/2011 concerning Health Requirements for Hand-Wiped Cutlery, Food Ingredients, and Food (Catering Services) with requirements for pathogenic germs

Abstract

Background: The bacterial count is a calculation of the number of bacteria based on the assumption that each living bacterial cell will grow into a colony after incubation in a suitable culture medium. Objectives: This study aimed to examine the number of germs on bowls and spoons from eight street vendors at Jakabaring Sport City Palembang. Method: This study used the method using the total plate count (ALT) method with swab sampling. Population: 8 Street Vendors in Jakabaring Sport City Palembang. Sample: 20 samples of cutlery. Results: The results showed that the cleanliness of most traders does not meet health standards. Only spoons from two traders (C and F) meet the requirements with a germ count of less than 100 colonies/m², while six other traders (A, B, D, E, G, H) have spoons with a germ count exceeding 100 colonies/m². For bowls, only one trader (B) has a bowl that meets the requirements with a germ count of less than 100 colonies/m². Seven other traders (A, C, D, E, F, G, H) have bowls with a germ count exceeding 100 colonies/m². Conclusion: The practice of eating utensil hygiene among street vendors in Jakabaring Sport City needs to be improved to ensure consumer health.

Abstract

Background : The problem of nutritional status in adolescents is caused by an imbalance between intake and needs, which will cause undernutrition problems or overnutrition problems. One of the other factors that affects nutritional status is a lack of physical activity. Poor nutrition in adolescents and adults causes a lack of energy availability, so they get tired easily, certain diseases appear, and productivity decreases. Meanwhile, nutritional conditions increase the risk of non- communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, and cancer. Research Objective: To determine the relationship between vegetable and fruit consumption, physical activity, and nutritional status in adolescents. Research Method: This quantitative study uses a cross-sectional study design located at SMK 3 Muhammadiyah Palembang in February-May 2024. Data was collected through height and weight measurements, and questionnaires were filled out. The research instruments used were a semi-quantitative FFQ-form questionnaire and a short-form version of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire, which used an interview method. A static test to analyze the relationship between variables is the Chi-square test. Results: There was a relationship between vegetable and fruit consumption, physical activity, and nutritional status in adolescents (p-value < 0.05). Conclusion: The better vegetables and fruits are consumed, the better the nutritional status of adolescents will also be. The more physical activity teenagers do, the better their nutritional status will be. Sufficient consumption of vegetables and fruits and good physical activity will help adolescents achieve optimal growth and development.

Abstract

Background: Hygiene sanitation is one of the health efforts to reduce or eliminate factors that cause contamination of drinking water and facilities used for processing, storage, and distribution. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge level and attitudes towards hygiene sanitation among household-scale boiled drinking water traders in Belitang I District in 2024. Method: This research is quantitative with interview and observation methods. The respondents were 30 boiled drinking water traders. Chi-square test was used for statistical analysis. Result: The results show that knowledge level (p=0.001<0.05) and attitude (p=0.005<0.05) are significantly related to hygiene sanitation. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between knowledge level and attitudes towards hygiene sanitation among household-scale boiled drinking water traders in Belitang I District.
