Abstract

Food is a basic need for humans, food that is not safe for consumption can cause disease in humans, nosocomial infections, and food poisoning. The results of observations at the Bahteramas General Hospital and hospitals. The city of Kendari has not yet implemented the HACCP system, so innovation is needed so that the HACCP program can be implemented. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of socialization on the application of food processing at Bahteramas General Hospital and hospitals. Kendari City. This type of research is quantitative, Quasy experiment design. The research was conducted at Bahteramas General Hospital, Southeast Sulawesi Province and in hospitals. Kendari City on January 28 - March 4, 2022. The sample is part of the nutrition staff, hosts and waiters at Bahteramas General Hospital and in hospitals. Kendari City in 2022. The intervention sample was given socialization about HACCP as many as 25 people obtained by simple random sampling and the control sample was not given socialization as many as 19 people obtained from the total sampling. Data collection techniques with questionnaires and observation. Data were analyzed using Mc.Neymar test. The results of research at the Bahteramas General Hospital obtained p value 0.031 < 0.05 for food processing obtained, and p value 0.031 < 0.05 for food presentation The conclusion is that there is an effect of socializing the application of HACCP on food processing and serving in hospitals. Kendari City. Suggestions for hospitals to implement the HACCP system. For health workers, food handlers and food servicers, to improve food management efforts based on the principles of food hygiene and sanitation.

Abstract

Abstract. Hypertension is a condition where blood pressure exceeds 140/90 mmHg. Hypertension can cause complications of cardiovascular diseases such as stroke, heart disease and diabetes mellitus. Hypertension at the Alosia Health Center in 2021 was 72 cases and increased in 2022 for the January-March period by 90 cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sodium intake and nutritional status with the incidence of hypertension. Quantitative research design, cross sectional study approach. The sample is partly all patients registered at the Alosika Health Center, Konawe Regency in 2022 for the January-March 2022 period as many as 89 obtained by Simple Random Sampling. Data were analyzed using Chi-square test. The results of the study from 89 samples, the incidence of hypertension, most of them had hypertension (66.3%), then based on sodium intake, most were more (67.4%) and based on nutritional status most of 56 people (62.9%) nutritional status normal. Chi-Square test obtained p value 0.000 for the relationship of sodium intake with the incidence of hypertension and p value 0.001 for the relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of hypertension. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between sodium intake and nutritional status with the incidence of hypertension in the work area of the Alosika Health Center, Konawe Regency.

Abstract

The number of exclusive breastfeeding globally, although there has been an increase, this number has not increased significantly. One of the factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding is the value or attitude of the mother. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's perception and exclusive breastfeeding at the Pomalaa Health Center. This research was carried out at the Pomalaa Health Center in June 2022 involving a sample of 51 respondents. The sampling technique used is the Saturated Sampling technique. Data collection used a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test with the help of a computer. The results showed that 21 people (41.2%) gave exclusive breastfeeding and 30 people (58.8%) did not and 25 people (49%) had good perceptions and 26 people (51 %) who had poor perceptions and there was a relationship between mothers' perceptions of exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of the Pomalaa Health Center based on a ρ value of 0.001 (<0.05). It is recommended that mothers add insight regarding the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding for both children and mothers

Abstract

Penyapihan merupakan upaya untuk perlahan-lahan berhenti memberikan ASI kepada balita. Ketika balita berusia 2 tahun, mereka harus disapih. Namun, fenomena yang terjadi masih ditemukan oleh orang yang belum memahami cara menyapih dari ASI dan menerapkan penyapihan dini sehingga balita rentan terkena penyakit seperti diare. Tujuan dari layanan ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan informasi tentang cara menyapih ASI bagi balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Nambo. Metode pengabdian dilakukan dengan ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan tepatnya pada tanggal 15 November 2022 tepatnya di wilayah pesisir Desa Bungkutoko, Kecamatan Nambo. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah ibu-ibu yang memiliki balita di wilayah Desa Bungkutoko sebanyak 15 orang. Hasil layanan menunjukkan bahwa dari 15 responden, pertanyaan yang paling banyak diketahui oleh responden adalah kapan menyapih anak dapat dilakukan dengan pemberian susu formula (99,3%) dan pertanyaan yang paling tidak diketahui oleh responden adalah usia penyapihan yang tepat adalah 24 bulan ( 73,3%). Kesimpulannya, sosialisasi ini dapat memberikan informasi tambahan bagi ibu yang memiliki balita tentang metode penyapihan yang tepat
