Abstract

This research addresses the low interest and creativity of students in learning choreography. Students’ pre-test results shows that only 8 students out of 37 students managed to pass the minimum standard criteria. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the improvement in terms of interest and creativity by using Peer Tutors method.It is a method of learning together with the concept that there is a small group of mentors as the group guide. Peer tutoring method is a method of learning together with the concept of putting students in small groups. Students who areconsidered as faster learners in one group were appointed to become peer tutors for their peers. The activity triggers students’ interest and creativity either individually or in groups. This study uses the approach of classroom action research. The study was planned for two cycle. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research results shows that on the pre cycle there were only 8 out of 37 students (21,62 %) managed to pass the minimum score criteria of >75. On the first cycle there were 13 out of 37 students (35,13%) managed to pass the interest evaluation and 16 out of 37 students (43,24% ) passed the creativity evaluation. Finally, on the first cycle there were 18 out of 37 students (48,64%) managed to passthe interest evaluation and 31 out of 37 students (83,78%) passed the creativity evaluation. The improvement from the first cycle to the second cycle is 13, 51% for interest and 27.02 % for creativity.

Abstract

Kaloka Art Studio is a place to learn art, especially dance. Kaloka Art Studio is a studio that traditioning Slendang Pemalang Dance which become the pride of Pemalang Regency society. The problem in this study are (1) how is the embodiment of Slendang Dance is a depiction of regional identity and (2) how is the role of Kaloka Art Studio in traditioning Slendang Dance as the regional identity. The objective of this study is to asses the embodiment of Slendang dance and analyze the role of Kaloka Art Studio in traditioning the Slendang Pemalang Dance. This study uses qualitative approachment. The data collection techniques including observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis are using data reduction, data serving and conclusion. The result of this research is the manifestation of Slendang Pemalang Dance as regional identity. The role of Kaloka Art Studio in traditioning Slendang dance has been done through training and dance performances. Training Studio as a model of non-formal learning. The conclusion of this research are (1)the embodiment of Slendang Pemalang Dance according tonthe dance element which is wiraga, wirama , wirasa and costume according to the characteristic of the Pemalang society; (2) the role of Kaloka Art Studio in traditioning the dance through socialization, training and performance of the dance.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKomunikasi menjadi sesuatu yang penting dalam suatu organisasi. Dengan adanya komunikasi yang baik dalam organisasi, maka organisasi tersebut dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan berhasil. Sebaliknya, jika di dalam suatu organisasi komunikasi tidak berjalan lancar, maka dapat mengakibatkan terhambatnya organisasi dalam mencapai tujuan. Dengan demikian, komunikasi di setiap organisasi mempunyai peranan sentral.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peran komunikasi organisasi dalam membentuk loyalitas Taruna Siaga Bencana di Kabupaten Karanganyar.Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Komunikasi organisasi dari Arni Muhammad yaitu komunikasi keatas dan komunikasi kebawah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, lokasi penelitian Taruna Siaga Bencana Kabupaten Karanganyar, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara dengan pengawas, koordinator, dan 2 anggota Tagana, teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis interaktif yang dikembangkan oleh Mathew B. Miles, A. Michael Huberman dan Johny Saldana selama proses kegiatan dilakukan dengan tiga hal yaitu Kondensasi Data, Penyajian Data dan Penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa komunikasi organisasi dari pimpinan organisasi kepada anggota organisasi yang berada di Tagana dapat mempersuasif anggota Tagana untuk memiliki loyalitas di organisasi. Hal tersebut dapat diketahui dari optimalnya informasi yang diberikan pimpinan kepada anggota organisasi serta pertukaran informasi diantara pimpinan dan anggota organisasi begitu juga sebaliknya akan mempengaruhi hubungan yang terjalin antara individu, tanggung jawab anggota di dalam organisasi serta rasa memiliki organisasi Tagana.Kata kunci : Peran komunikasi, Organisasi, Loyalitas Kerja

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada dua elemen penting dalam musik sampe’ yaitu bentuk estetik dalam penyajian dan bentuk estetik dalam lagu. Bentuk dan konsep estetik akan memberikan identitas sebuah aktualitas musik sehingga dapat dibedakan dari yang lainnya. Secara konseptual musik tradisional sampe’ memiliki dua bentuk, yaitu: 1) bentuk arsitektonik yang sifatnya intelektualistik atau absolut; 2) bentuk simbolik yang sifatnya instingtif atau relatif. Kedua bentuk tersebut dapat dicermati melalui sumber bunyi (instrumentasi), musikalitas, ekspresi musikal, dan tata penyajiannya. Selain itu konsep keindahan musik tradisional sampe’ dapat pula diamati secara ilmiah (science) yaitu menilai keindahan dengan perhitungan logis melalui standar-standar estetik yang telah ada dan melalui unsur filsafat tentang keindahan menyangkut berbagai wawasan keindahan yang dipersepsi oleh manusia. Melalui bentuk dan konsep estetik musik tersebut dapat membawa untuk mengenal lebih jauh dan membaca unsur penting dari kebudayaan masyarakat pemiliknya. Selanjutnya dengan memahami bentuk dan konsep estetik adalah awal yang baik dan akan menuntun seseorang yang ingin belajar tentang musik tradisional sampe’. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekataan teori estetika yang dikemukaan oleh A.A. Made Djelantik dan Monroe Beardsley.Kata kunci : estetika, musik sampe’, dayak kenyah
