Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia is a growing business, especially in Bali. Bali has been long to be a vacation destination for both local and foreign tourists. It has contribution to business development in the tourism industry, including hotels and restaurants. In an effort to win the market competition, of course the tourism industry has done various things. This is the background of the research conducted by the writer at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of bakery quality. The writer uses quantitative analysis and also SPSS program to explain the correlation between bakery quality and customer satisfaction. The result found that (a) there is a very strong relationship between the quality of bakery and customer satisfaction of Wedang Jahe Restaurant at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa, (b) the quality of the bakery has impacted customer satisfaction aa much as 85,6 % which shows strong influenced, but there is still other factor impacted it which is not analysed in this study

Abstract

In every company or industry it is important to formulate a business strategy by analyzing the external and internal environment. Research on positions at The Kunja Villas and Spa Bali aims to find out what strategies are suitable to be implemented at The Kunja Villas and Spa. Through this research it is hoped that it can provide input for management to further optimize existing marketing strategies and be more aggressive in promoting new products to obtain optimal results in accordance with the goals and targets of The Kunja Villas and Spa. Based on the application of this research methodology, the results of interviews, questionnaires, documentation and quantitative data obtained from primary and secondary sources were analyzed descriptively with improvements through SWOT analysis and the Grand Strategy Matrix as instruments for conducting strategy analysis. The results of the analysis on internal and external strategic factors at The Kunja Villa and Spa, the position of the internal environment is in an average position with a value of 2.75 and the position of the external environment is in a high position with a value of 3.12. The meeting between the EFAS and IFAS total scores is in the second cell position (II), namely growth (concentration with horizontal integrity). In cell II it is categorized in a growth strategy where the strategy that can be carried out is by increasing access to a wider market by utilizing technology, developing new products, and improving the services offered. Abstract

Kepemimpinan merupakan cara seseorang pemimpin mempengaruhi perilaku bawahan agar mau bekerja sama dan bekerja produktif untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Pada sektor pariwisata juga diperlukan kepemimpinan yang baik dalam pengembangannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan Novotel Bali Benoa Badung. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan sampel sebanyak 31 karyawan. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dengan SPSS 22 untuk mendapatkan hasil analisis deskriptif. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan uji asumsi klasik, dilanjutkan dengan uji regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji F, dan uji koefisien beta terstandar. Hasil Analisa diketahui bahwa variabel kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Novotel Bali Benoa Badung. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil uji t untuk variabel kepemimpinan < t tabel. Variabel motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Novotel Bali Benoa Badung. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil uji t variabel motivasi > ttabel. Variabel kepemimpinan dan motivasi berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Novotel Bali Benoa Badung. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil uji F-test > Ftabel.Berdasarkan kedua variabel bebas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, variabel motivasi memiliki pengaruh yang lebih dominan dibandingkan variabel kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Novotel Bali Benoa Badung, hal ini terlihat dari nilai motivasi kepemimpinan sebesar 0,509 > 0,210. Abstract

Job training and communication are the basis for employees to be able to develop their personalities and be responsible for their positions. This study aims to analyze the effect partially and simultaneously between training and communication on employee performance in the food and beverage department at Padma Resort Legian. This study uses a questionnaire in data collection. The number of samples used were 37 people. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test analysis, and f-test analysis. The results of the analysis show the regression equation model Y=0.529 + 0.832 X1 + 0.527 X2. This study resulted in three conclusions, namely (a) there is a positive and significant influence between training on employee performance. This is indicated by the significance value for the training variable (X1) of 0.000 t table (0.05 : 34) = 1.691; (b) there is a positive and significant influence between communication on employee performance. This is indicated by the significance value for the communication variable (X2) of 0.000 t table (0.05 : 34) = 1.691; (c) there is a positive and significant influence between training and communication on employee performance. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengalaman kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Hotel & Residences Riverview Kuta Bali (Associated HARRIS). Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner, dengan sampel sebanyak 39 responden. Data yang diperoleh diuji terlebih dahulu dengan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan uji asumsi klasik. Setelah itu data dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji f, koefisien determinasi dan uji beta koefisien terstandar dengan menggunakan SPSS (Statistic Package For Social Sciences) windows 25.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui: (i) Secara parsial variabel pengalaman kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan Hotel & Residences Riverview Kuta Bali (Associated HARRIS). Hal ini terlihat dari hasil uji t, dimana untuk variabel harga thitung > dari ttabel (ii) Secara parsial disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Hotel & Residences Riverview Kuta Bali ( Terkait HARRIS). Hal ini terlihat dari hasil uji t dimana variabel disiplin kerja thitung > ttabel (iii) Secara simultan variabel pengalaman kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan tetap. di Hotel & Residences Riverview Kuta Bali (Associated HARRIS). Hal ini terlihat dari hasil uji F dimana Fhitung > Ftabel (iii) Dari kedua variabel independen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini disiplin kerja mempunyai pengaruh yang lebih dominan dibandingkan pengalaman kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan Hotel & Residences. Pemandangan Sungai Kuta. Bali (Associated HARRIS), hal ini terlihat dari uji beta koefisien terstandar yaitu nilai 1 < 2.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the right strategy based on an analysis of the dominant factors that determinetourists staying at the Puri Bagus Candidasa hotel. The problem of this research is to determine the factors thatdetermine tourists to stay at the Puri Bagus Candidasa hotel and to analyze the dominant factors determiningtourists' decisions to stay at the Puri Bagus Candidasa hotel. The sample was selected as many as 110respondents using purposive sampling technique. Data processing was carried out with SPSS software version23.0 for Windows. The principal component analysis (PCA) method produces four factors that determinetourists' decisions to stay at the Puri Bagus Candidasa Hotel, Karangasem Bali. These four factors areadvantages factors which consist of product factors, place factors, price factors and physical evidence factors.The second factor is the added value factor which consists of cultural factors, people factors and promotionfactors. The third factor is supporting factors which consist of social factors and process factors. The fourthfactor is personal factors and psychological factors. The dominant factor that determines tourists to stay at thePuri Bagus Candidasa hotel is the advantages factor with an eigenvalue of 2.235 and a variance percentagevalue of 20.316%. Companies are expected to continue to maintain product quality, comfort and safety at hotellocations as well as maintain the physical quality of the building. From the results of factor rotation, it wasfound that personal factors are the factors that have the lowest eigenvalue, where one of the indicators is thetourist's lifestyle, economy and psychology. This can trigger them to recommend the hotel to their relativeswho have the same lifestyle and economic situation. From the results of the analysis of respondentcharacteristics, it was found that the tourists who stayed overnight predominantly came from Germany, so itwas necessary to improve services for German tourists, for example by training staff to learn German.Keywords: Factor Analysis, Hotels, Tourist Decision

Abstract

This study explores the optimization of tourism study program lecturers in enhancing education quality at Triatma Mulya University, Bali, Indonesia. It examines the impact of lecturer qualifications, teaching methodologies, and professional development on student learning outcomes. A quantitative study of 100 tourism students used stratified sampling to evaluate lecturer impact on educational quality. Data were analysed using SmartPLS 3 to evaluate the impact of lecturer qualifications on education quality The findings highlight that lecturer qualifications, innovative teaching methodologies, and continuous professional development significantly enhance the quality of education. Teaching methodologies, particularly experiential learning techniques, strongly influence student engagement and learning outcomes (β = 0,426). The study is limited to one institution, restricting generalizability to other educational contexts. Reliance on self-reported data introduces potential bias, and the cross-sectional design limits causal inferences. Future research should explore cross-cultural comparisons and the impact of emerging technologies on tourism education. Institutions should prioritize faculty development and industry collaboration, while policymakers should implement accreditation standards that mandate continuous professional development. The tourism industry can benefit by partnering with universities to shape curricula that align with workforce needs. This study provides a unique perspective on optimizing tourism education by integrating lecturer development strategies with industry-aligned curricula, offering valuable insights for educators, administrators, and policymakers in tourism education.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the effect of facilities on customer satisfaction at The Sila's Agrotourism Tabanan, Bali; (2) determine the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at The Sila's Agrotourism Tabanan, Bali; and (3) knowing the effect of Facilities and Service Quality on customer satisfaction at The Sila's Agrotourism Tabanan, Bali. This study uses a sample of 75 samples consisting of 6 facilities indicators (X1), 5 service quality indicators (X2), and 4 satisfaction indicators (Y). The research data analysis method uses t-test analysis and multiple regression tests. The results of the analysis of the influence of facilities (X1) on customer satisfaction (Y) in Table 4.9 show a significance level of t of 0.000 which is smaller than = 0.05. In addition, the facility regression coefficient (X1) of 0.000 indicates a positive influence of the facility on customer satisfaction. The results of the analysis of the effect of service quality (X2) on customer satisfaction (Y) in Table 4.9 show a significance level of t of 0.033 which is smaller than = 0.05. In addition, the facility regression coefficient (X1) of 0.033 indicates a positive influence of service quality on customer satisfaction. The results of F arithmetic (14.979) > F table (3.150) This means that there is an increase in facilities and service quality simultaneously which will later be able to increase customer satisfaction at The Sila's Agrotourism, Tabanan.
