Abstract

This research has a specific purpose: (i) determine the potential ofcoastal area can be developed as a tourism product, (ii) Knowing constraints arefaced in developing the tourism potential, and (iii) determine strategies that can beused in developing the tourism potential of the coast as a creative tourism productsYeh Gangga Beach, Sudimara village, Tabanan Bali. The general objective to beachieved is to improve the performance of the tourism sector in the welfare ofsociety Tabanan through sustainable tourism development by developing creativepotential.. The research found that (i) Yeh Gangga Beach has some potential creativityattraction, such as: art market, handycraft,video and photography, music and artperformance, scenery, and accomodation; (ii) The main problems encounteredare (i) Most strategic land has been switched ownership to investors. The strategyshould be applied is (i) Maintain Yeh Gangga Beach as tourist attraction developedTabanan through local regulations, (ii) increasing public awareness of tourism. Theimplications are (i) theoretically enriching literature of sustainability in tourismcoastal area, (ii) practically could enhance the government to develop coastaltourism in Tabanan Bali.

Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia is a growing business, especially in Bali. Bali has been long to be a vacation destination for both local and foreign tourists. It has contribution to business development in the tourism industry, including hotels and restaurants. In an effort to win the market competition, of course the tourism industry has done various things. This is the background of the research conducted by the writer at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of bakery quality. The writer uses quantitative analysis and also SPSS program to explain the correlation between bakery quality and customer satisfaction. The result found that (a) there is a very strong relationship between the quality of bakery and customer satisfaction of Wedang Jahe Restaurant at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa, (b) the quality of the bakery has impacted customer satisfaction aa much as 85,6 % which shows strong influenced, but there is still other factor impacted it which is not analysed in this study

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between work discipline and work motivation as an independent variable on employee performance as a dependent variable. The author uses data collection techniques with documentation, observation and surveys. The number of respondents sampled in this study was 64 employees. The results of the descriptive analysis include the average employee age of 18-25 years where more female employees with an average education level of diploma and an average length of work of 1-5 years. The methods used are multiple linear regression analysis, determination analysis and beta coefficient analysis which are processed with the SPSS (statistical package for the social science) program version 26. The results of the analysis for work discipline (x1) obtained a t-count of 3.145 stated that there was a positive and significant influence on employee performance (y) and for work motivation (x2) obtained t-count of 3.535 stated that there was a positive and significant influence on employee performance (y). In simultaneous processing, f-count is obtained from both variables that have a positive and significant influence with a value of 27.765. Based on the large coefficient of determination, the percentage value of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance is 47.7% with the more dominant variable being work motivation.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the front office department at Ayana Resort Bali, which discusses the implementation of standard operating procedures in handling check in and check out guests. This research is motivated by the existence of problems when handling check in and check out. So this research aims to find out the standard operating procedures for handling check in and check out as well as to find out how the implementation of standard operating procedures for handling check in and check out guests at Ayana Resort Bali. Researchers used primary data and secondary data to support this research. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation recording. The analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique that describes the comparison between the overall data obtained with the reality that occurs at the research site. The results of this study indicate that there are 5 (five) procedures out of 11 (eleven) standard operating procedures for handling check in that are not appropriate and 3 (three) procedures out of 13 (thirteen) standard operating procedures for handling check out that are not appropriate. Evaluation of the procedure along with the training needs to be done again in order to make the implementation of the SOP better than before.

Abstract

The people of Badung Regency today have activities that are starting to be dense like people in other big cities. Almost every day, people in this city do activities outside the home by leaving other family members behind throughout the day. This condition causes a sense of boredom and on weekends requires a place to spend free time with family. In Badung Regency, one of the activities in this leisure time is carried out at the Badung Government Center which is located in the middle of this district, namely in Sempidi Village. Locations like this are very important to identify because they are very beneficial to the health of residents, both physically and mentally, with their family members. The data in this study were collected by methods: literature study, documentation, and observation. The research was conducted by qualitative descriptive data analysis method, by observing the 4A variables in the Badung Puspem as a family tourism attraction in Badung Regency, consisting of: Attraction, Amenities, Accessibility and Additional Services). The existence of the Badung Puspem in addition to being an office center to provide maximum service to the community can also function as a family tourism attraction in Badung Regency. Strengthened by the existence of the 4A element (Attraction, Amenity, Accessibility, and Ancilliary) with the support of various parties, starting from the Badung Regency government with the implementation of various policies, the private sector and the community, who are always loyal to take their time while helping to maintain the beauty, order and sanctity of this family tourist location.

Abstract

Upacara Nedunin Dewa Nini di Desa Adat Padang Luwih Dalung, diperkirakan sudah ada sejak zaman Kerajaan Mengwi dahulu. Upacara unik yang sarat dengan unsur budaya dan sejarah agraris ini memiliki makna rasa syukur atas hasil panen yang melimpah dari desa adat setempat kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dalam manifestasinya sebagai Dewa Nini (Dewi Sri). Prosesi utama upacara Nedunin Dewa Nini dilakukan oleh masyarakat adat Padang Luwih Dalung selama 3 hari berturutturut, dimulai dari sehari sebelum Bulan Purnama ke-10 sampai dengan sehari setelah Bulan Purnama ke-10 dalam penanggalan Hindu Bali. Prosesi tersebut diawali dengan pembuatan Dewa Nini sendiri di rumah masing-masing warga, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan sehari menjelang Bulan Purnama dengan prosesi Mepeed, Mesoda di Pura Desa/Puseh diiringi gamelan tradisional Bali dan lagu-lagu sakral (Mekidung). Sesampainya di Pura Desa diadakan persembahyangan bersama dan prosesi lainnya. Keesokan harinya yaitu bertepatan dengan Hari Bulan Purnama Kedase (Purnama ke 10 dalam perhitungan Bali), merupakan puncak upacara. Diadakan acara pependetan , yaitu tarian sacral, ilen ilen tetoyan hingga persembahyangan bersama yang dimulai jam 19: 00 Wita hingga selesai. Pada hari ke-3 Dewa Nini ini dibawa kembali ke rumah masing-masing warga dan disimpan di lumbung (Jineng) atau dapur. Pelestarian dan pengembangan upacara ini menjadi daya tarik wisata budaya unggulan menggunakan analisis SWOT dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, Nedunin Dewa Nini berpotensi dikemas menjadi sebuah paket wisata budaya yang melibatkan wisatawan dalam prosesi dan dikaitkan dengan upacara budaya lainnya serta wisata kuliner Bali tanpa mengurangi kelancaran dan kesucian upacara tersebut. Diharapkan warga desa memiliki kesempatan untuk menjadi pengusaha dengan bertindak sebagai penyelenggara upacara dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas yang tersedia di lokasi seperti balai serbaguna (wantilan) untuk menyajikan makanan khas Bali. Adanya upacara ini juga dikaitkan dengan atraksi budaya lain yang ada di desa Dalung dengan membuat jalur trekking menuju Taman Beji Sempuana dengan melewati persawahan yang hijau di Desa Dalung. Pengembangan Upacara Nedunin Dewa Nini menjadi penting karena kehadiran upacara menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan perubahan tata guna lahan yang tinggi di lokasi. Abstract

The world health organization (WHO) had designated the outbreak of the corona virus as a pandemic, which started in the Chinese city of Wuhan. The corona pandemic has an impact on the tourism industry sector around the world, including in Badung Regency, Bali. In the tourism industry there was also a tourist accommodation component, including hotels. The existence of hotels in Bali has contributed greatly to the absorption of workers who came from Balinese residents and residents outside Bali and even foreign workers, which greatly impacts the economy of the community and regional income. Entrepreneurs in the tourism sector are forced to lay off their employees. Especially with the application of Lock Down which is applied in the international world. The implementation of domestic policies will certainly have an impact on employers, employees and local governments, in this case the Badung Regency Government. This policy requires assistance from the government, the Department of Industry and Manpower, as a mediator to get an agreement related to employee dismissal decisions. For this reason, the act of laying off employees is an act of salvation for both the employer and the employee side. Therefore, in this study it is necessary to know the legal aspects or basis and procedures for their implementation that must be taken in the face of the corona pandemic. Abstract

Perkembangan industri pariwisata yang semakin meningkat di dunia, membuat para investor dan pelaku usaha pariwisata memperkuat usahanya, seperti bisnis restoran dan perhotelan. Hotel adalah salah satu akomodasi yang dibutuhkan wisatawan sebagai tempat tinggal sementara selama perjalanan. Menghadapi persaingan yang semakin ketat, berbagai upaya dilakukan oleh masing-masing hotel, seperti menambah fasilitas yang lebih lengkap, memperbaiki gedung, menambah daftar menu makanan dan meningkatkan standar pelayanan, mulai dari departemen front office, departemen housekeeping dan departemen food and beverage. Guest Relation Officer Grand Club merupakan salah satu bagian dalam departemen front office yang memiliki tugas dan bertanggung jawab untuk memberikan kenyamanan kepada tamu dan menyediakan informasi yang diinginkan tamu, Guest Relation Officer Grand Club dituntut untuk selalu bertindak efektif dalam melayani tamu hotel. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yaitu metode penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hal yang dialami oleh objek penelitian seperti perilaku, persepsi, motivasi, tindakan dan lain-lain secara holistik dengan cara deskriptif dalam bentuk kata-kata dan bahasa, pada suatu konteks yang alamiah dan dengan memanfaatkan berbagai metode ilmiah. Teknik pengumpulan data selama penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan di Hotel Grand Hyatt Bali selama 6 bulan. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini adalah Guest Relation Officer Grand Club memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam sebuah hotel untuk menghasilkan kenyamanan, keamanan dan pelayanan yang baik bagi para tamu. Bahkan Guest Relation Officer Grand Club harus menjalin kerjasama dengan travel agent, agar ketika Guest Relation Officer Grand Club berinteraksi, mereka akan menawarkan paket wisata dan membuat tamu merasa diperhatikan. Abstract

The people of Denpasar City and its surroundings need green open space to release fatigue after busy activities. One of these open spaces is obtained at Puputan Badung I Gusti Ngurah Made Agung Field which has tourism potential both natural, historical, cultural and man-made tourism to continue to be developed into a family tourist attraction in Denpasar City, Bali. The existence of this field is supported by various parties, both local communities, tourists to the Denpasar City Government with the existence of Denpasar City Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2019 concerning the Regional Tourism Development Master Plan for 2018-2029. The tangible manifestation of the role of the Denpasar City government to realize Puputan Badung Field as a Family Tourism Attraction is reflected in the existence of 4A elements (attraction, Atraction, Amenity, Accessibility, and Ancillary) that are adequate to date. In this study, data collection was carried out by means of literature studies, documentation and observation. The data analysis technique is carried out using the qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research, it can be concluded that Puputan Badung I Gusti Ngurah Made Agung Field meets the needs of the community for family tourism attraction.
