Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil data penilaian pada raport akhir tahun 2022, nampak bahwa kemampuan motorik halus di TK ROUDLATUL ULUM masih dikatakan kurang berkembang dengan maksimal. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka peneliti ingin memberikan kegiatan main dengan memberikan media pembelajaran inovatif yaitu dengan membatik Odheng. Karena dengan kegiatan membatik Odheng diharapkan anak akan tertarik dan menumbuhkan minat anak untuk melakukan kegiatan pengembangan motorik halus. Dari hasil pengamatan dan refleksi yang diperoleh dari pengumpulan data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa dengan kegiatan membatik ikat kepala “Odheng” telah mampu meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak dan telah memenuhi hasil yang diharapkan oleh peneliti. Penerapan kegiatan membatik ikat kepala “Odheng” mampu meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus pada anak. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil analisis penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa rata-rata tingkat capaian perkembangan kemampuan motorik halus melalui kegiatan kreasi kegiatan membatik ikat kepala “Odheng” pada anak yang sebelumnya hanya pada prasiklus hanya mencapai 30% dari 17 anak. Dari 17 anak yang tuntas hanya 7 anak dan 10 anak tidak tuntas, setelah mendapat pembelajaran dengan kreasi kegiatan membatik ikat kepala “Odheng”, mengalami peningkatan pada Siklus I dengan mencapai hasil sebesar 53%, dengan 8 anak yang tuntas. Dan meningkat lagi setelah mendapat pembelajaran dengan kegiatan membatik ikat kepala “Odheng” pada Siklus II menjadi 94% dengan 14 yang tuntas dari 17 anak.

Abstract

Educators are the key determinant of changing learning styles in the midst of a pandemic. They are required to be more creative and innovative in conducting learning. The purpose of this community service is to increase the use of IT-based learning media for Madina Luhur Kindergarten teachers. The implementation method used in this activity is the lecture method from the speakers and practicum by the teachers with the devices they have such as mobile phones and laptops for each participant as well as mentoring by the lecturers in practicing the steps for using these web tools. For teachers, the result is an increase in their understanding and skills in using web tools such as Answer Garden and Tricider for learning materials. For lecturers, the results of this community service activity are an increase in motivation to be more active and sensitive to engage in development in the community directly, especially those related to the world of education. For Higher Education, the resulting achievement is the increasing quality of sustainable academic programs, and as a manifestation of the accountability of the Higher Education in the community. With this service, it is hoped that it can improve the skills of Madina Luhur Teachers in IT-based learning, and can apply them in the teaching and learning process at Madina Luhur Kindergarten. Abstract

Introducing the Indonesian language to early childhood learners involves building conceptual understanding and vocabulary through active participation and meaningful use in everyday life. Language acquisition in early childhood also requires learning experiences that are meaningful, enjoyable, and contextual. This learning model integrates educational and entertainment elements, enabling children to acquire language naturally through play activities, singing, storytelling, and social interaction. This study aims to describe early childhood Indonesian language acquisition through the implementation of an edutainment learning model. The study employs a descriptive research approach with early childhood learners in PAUD (Early Childhood Education) institutions as the subjects. Data were collected through observation, field notes, and documentation of learning activities. The results indicate that edutainment-based learning facilitates vocabulary acquisition, increases children’s confidence in oral language use, and helps them understand the meaning of utterances in everyday contexts. The findings reveal that a needs analysis shows existing Indonesian language instruction lacks a systematic instructional design and adequate digital teaching materials, highlighting the need for a model that integrates entertainment-based learning and digital applications. Expert validation confirms that the edutainment learning model is appropriate for introducing Indonesian to early childhood learners in kindergarten settings. The implementation of the edutainment model has proven effective in increasing early learners’ exposure to and use of the Indonesian language. The developed edutainment learning model, supported by digital learning applications, provides a practical reference for teachers, parents, and early childhood institutions in creating engaging, meaningful, and effective Indonesian language learning experiences.
