Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh siswa yang kurang respon pada pembelajaran matematika karena rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental dengan nonequivalent control group design. Subjeknya adalah siswa kelas VII SMP N 1 Kaliwedi Kab. Cirebon TA 2014/2015. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving learning (TAPPS) di kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model konvensional di kelas kontrol. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan uji perbedaan rerata post-test di dapat nilai sig. sebesar 0,000 0,05 dan rata-rata nilai n-gain peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa kelas eksperimen 0,434 sedangkan kelas kontrol 0,183.Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) dan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis This research is motivated by the lack of response to the students 'learning of mathematics because of the low ability students' critical thinking mathematically. This research is a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group. The subjects were students of class VII SMP N 1 Kaliwedi Kab. Cirebon FY 2014/2015. The results showed that the critical thinking skills of mathematical student learning using learning models Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving learning (TAPPS) in the experimental group was better than students who are learning to use conventional methods in the control class proved by test mean difference post-test obtained sig. 0.000 0.05 and the average value of n-gain critical thinking skills improvement of students' mathematical experiment class 0.434 While 0.183 the control class.Keywords: Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) learning model, mathematical critical thinking skill
