Abstract

The development of the world of education in Indonesia today is still experiencing various problems and challenges. One of the most recent challenges faced is due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, which causes the entire learning system in educational institutions to experience a change from face-to-face learning to distance learning or to be transferred into the learning process to online or online learning methods. The disruption of the learning process causes several changes to occur in students which in turn also affect their learning motivation. This study uses quantitative research methods, using the sampling technique used is accidental sampling. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar who participated in the online or online learning process. The data analysis method used in this research is using the Mann Whitney U analysis method. This type of research is a quantitative research combined with qualitative in explaining the results of the analysis of the learning motivation of students. The theoretical foundation in this research is the theory of learning motivation and the aspects that influence learning motivation. The results of this study indicate that the significance value of the Mann Whitney U is 0.000, which means the motivation to learn Hindu religious education in students who take online or online learning in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic situation has decreased, because the significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05 ( p <0.05).

Abstract

The success and failure of educational leadership is determined by the nature and leadership style of the educational institution. To achieve educational leadership success spiritual intelligence is needed. spiritual intelligence and educational leadership are integrated into the framework of achieving of achieving educational success not only in the realm of intelligence, but also success in the spiritual realm. In the specific context spiritual intelligence is intelligence to deal with and solve problems of meaning and value in life, and place behaviour in a broader and richer contect. People who have high spiritual intelligence are indicated by high contemplation abilities, namely having the ability to get inspiration from various things, the ability to convey values and meanings to others, observing various things to attract wisdom or get inspiration, have high creativity and innovation abilities that inspire inspiration. Leaders who have spiritual intelligence will be able to influence their subordinates according to nature and swadharma humanity regadless of race, ethnicity or religion. In the end, it will be able to form a constructive organizational order to achieve accelerative and effective educational goals.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills needed by themselves, society, nation and state. Learning is part of the element that has a very dominant role to realize the quality of both the process and the education graduates (outputs). Learning also has an influence that causes the quality of education to be low. This means that learning is very dependent on the ability of teachers to implement or package the learning process. Learning that is carried out properly and appropriately will make a very dominant contribution to students, otherwise learning that is carried out in a bad way will make it difficult for the potential of students to be developed or empowered. Based on this background, a class action research was conducted which aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of class XII AP1 students at SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar by utilizing the Google Classroom application as one of the learning strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic in the historical material on the development of Hindu religious culture. in Asia. This research is a classroom action research which was carried out for two cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning (planning), action (action), observation (observation), and reflection (reflection). The learning strategy used is by utilizing the Google Classroom application. The advantage of this application is that it can make it easier for teachers to manage learning and convey information precisely and accurately to students. Based on the results of the discussion and analysis during the research, the results have shown that learning strategies by utilizing technology in the form of the Google Classroom application during the Covid-19 pandemic can improve student learning outcomes in the historical material of the development of Hindu religious culture in Asia class XII AP1 SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar. as evidenced by the test results at the end of the first cycle there were 6 students with a percentage of completeness of 18% and an increase in the percentage of completeness in the second cycle of 94% of 31 students. Based on these results, it can be stated that the target percentage of students' completeness has exceeded the minimum limit value.
