Abstract

abstrak— Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepribadian tokoh Tariq pada film Penyalin Cahaya dengan teori semiotika John Fiske. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, melalui pendekatan semiotika John Fiske. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tanda-tanda sinematik atau film yang signifikan dalam menggambarkan kepribadian tokoh Tariq pada film Penyalin Cahaya. Tanda-tanda pada film yang dimaksud relevan dengan perspektif teoretis semiotika John Fiske dengan tiga level yakni realita, representasi, serta ideology. Berdasarkan teori yang di gunakan John Fiske membuktikan bahwa kajian semiotika mampu menunjukkan beberapa fragmen dalam adegan video klip yang paling menekankan makna sesuai konsep dari mas-ing-masing video klip dengan teori semiotika.Kata kunci—Semiotika John Fiske, Representasi Kepribadian, Film.  Abstract—This study aims to determine the personality of Tariq character in the film Penyalin Cahaya with John Fiske semiotic theory. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, through John Fiske semiotic approach. The data collection technique used the note-taking method. The results of the study indicate that there are cinematic or film signs that are significant in describing the personality of Tariq character in the film Penyalin Cahaya. The signs in the film are relevant to the theoretical perspective of John Fiske semiotics with three levels, that is reality, representation, and ideology. Based on the theory used by John Fiske, it proves that the study of semiotics is able to show several fragments in the video clip scene that most emphasize the meaning according to the concept of each video clip with semiotic theory.Keywords— John Fiske Semiotics, Personality Representation, Film

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui representasi kekeluargaaan pada film 2037. Dalam film digambarkan ikatan kekeluargaan dengan menggambarkan sisi manusiawi seseorang yang dilabeli dengan kata kriminal. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif,   melalui   pendekatan   semiotika   John   Fiske.   Teknik   pengumpulan   data menggunakan metode simak catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tanda- tanda sinematik atau film yang signifikan dalam menggambarkan hubungan kekeuargaan pada film 2037. Tanda-tanda pada film yang dimaksud relevan dengan perspektif teoretis semiotika  John  Fiske  dengan  tiga  level  yakni  realita,  representasi,  serta  ideology. Berdasarkan teori yang di gunakan John Fiske membuktikan bahwa kajian semiotika mampu menunjukkan beberapa fragmen dalam adegan video klip yang paling menekankan makna sesuai konsep dari mas-ing-masing video klip dengan teori semiotika.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see the influence of the positive culture implemented in schools on improving the character education of class X students at SMAN 1 Sooko Mojokerto. The research method used in writing this article is descriptive qualitative. The population of this study was all class X students at SMAN 1 Sooko by random sampling in class X-6. The researcher applied calculations, the greater the score on the student's character education instrument, the more the application of positive culture influenced the action. In this case, the data we use is taken from student character education questionnaires and direct observation. Based on the results of the research we conducted in class X-6, positive culture has a quite significant influence on student character education. This proves that the positive culture implemented at SMAN 1 Sooko has been successful and has become the basis for forming the character of students with the profile of Pancasila students in accordance with the current curriculum.
