Abstract

Aim: Violent behavior is a feeling of anger, annoyance, emotion, or disappointment that arises and is characterized by a clenched hand, bulging eyes, glaring, loud, and harshly talk that can result in dangerous actions for himself and others, and the environment. Violent behavior can be caused by various factors, both internal and external. One way to deal with violent behavior is by implementing assertive training. Assertive training is an effort to express anger well so that patients can express their annoyance well, ask for help and apologize well. Method: The case study research design involved four subjects chosen based on established inclusion criteria to obtain an overview of the implementation of assertive exercises in increasing the ability to express anger in patients with violent behavior. Result: The main intervention in this paper is the application of assertive exercises for two subjects. After the intervention was carried out three times a day in five days, the result was an increase in ability in assertive training and in expressing anger in patients with violent behavior who implement assertive training. Two patients who did not implement assertive training still had difficulty controlling their anger properly. Conclusion: This case study concludes that assertive training can increase the ability of angry expressions well, such as expressing annoyance well, asking for help well, and rejecting well.

Abstract

Polio is still a health threat in some areas, despite extensive immunization programs. This community service activity was carried out by Fatmawati College of Health Sciences together with Puskesmas Cilandak District with the aim of preventing polio through immunization and education programs. The method of implementation is by providing polio immunization to children, as well as providing education to parents about the importance of vaccination. This activity was carried out in several locations, including Posyandu and schools, with a focus on increasing community awareness. The results of the activities showed an increase in community knowledge and participation in the immunization program, although there were still obstacles such as lack of information and resources. In conclusion, collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and communities is essential to improve polio immunization coverage. Continuous education and training for health workers are also needed to ensure the success of the program. With these measures, it is hoped that the polio immunization program can continue to be effective and have a positive impact on public health, as well as prevent the return of polio disease in the future.

Abstract

Nyeri adalah sensasi ketidaknyamanan yang dimanifestasikan sebagai penderita yang diakibatkan oleh persepsi jiwa yang nyata, ancaman, dan fantasi luka. Penatalaksanaan nyeri post operasi dapat dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu secara farmakologi dan non farmakologi. Untuk mengatasi nyeri yang dilakukan dengan farmakologi dilakukan dengan melakukan kolaborasi dalam pemberian analgesik, sedangkan tindakan non farmakologi dapat diberikan teknik distraksi pemutaran video kartun.Pengukuran skala nyeri dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi FLACC. Tujuan studi kasus ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemberian teknik distraksi pemutaran video kartun dalam menurunkan rasa nyeri pada anak yang mengalami post operasi. Metode studi kasusdenganmenggunakan metoda deskriptif dengan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan pelaksanaan pemberian teknik distraksi pemutaran video kartun untuk menurunkan rasa nyeri pada anak post operasi. Subjek pada studi kasus terdiri dari dua orang anak yang mengalami post operasi. Pelaksanaan pemberian teknik distraksi dilakukan selama 10-15 menit dengan pemutaran video kartun. Observasi skala nyeri dilakukan sebelum dan setelah pemutaran video kartun. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan dengan pemberian teknik distraksi pemutaran video kartun cukup efektif untuk menurunkan rasa nyeri pad aanak yang mengalami post operasi. Diharapkan perawat dapat optimal dalam menangani respon nyeri yang dirasakan oleh anak post operasi salah satunya dengan melakukan pemberian teknik distraksi pemutaran video kartun.
