Abstract

This research deals with the use of conjunction in Indonesian language by the fifth graders of Baki Pandeyan 01 Elementary School of Sukoharjo. The objective of this study is three folds: (1) to describe conjunction used in spoken Indonesian Language; (2) to describe conjunction used in written Indonesian Language; (3) to describe errors in using conjunction both in written and spoken Indonesian. This research is categorized into descriptive qualitative research. The object of this research is the conjunction used in spoken and written of Indonesian language of the fifth grade.The data of the research was the conjunction used in Indonesian Language of the fifth grade students which were collected through writing and retelling the story. The technique of data collection was done by using tapping technique continued with scrutinize ability involvement technique, recording technique, and noticing technique. The technique of data analysis used intralingual match because it connects and compares the language itself. The result of the study showed that conjunction of spoken Indonesian language of subordinative reached 182, coordinative reached 64, and inter-sentences reached 3. The using of subordinative conjunction in written Indonesian language reached 104, and 49 for coordinative cinjunction. The conjunction often used by the fifth grade studens is dan. Conjuntion error often occurred in the use of words dan, tetapi, lalu, sedangkan which were used as the preposition, the wrong spelling of yg and /. This research also revealed that the characteristics of subordinative conjunction are as follows: (1) Connecting two points which equally important, (2) Connecting words or prhases which are equal, (3) It used in the compound sentence. Then, the characteristics of coordinative conjunction are (1) Connecting two or more sentences which the same syntactic status, (2) Forming the subordinative clause, (3) Used in the complex sentences. The characteristics of inter-clause conjunction are (1) Connecting one sentence to the others, (2) Combining two sentences.

Abstract

Penyimpangan  tuturan  yang  terjadi  pada  anak  yang  berusia  4  tahun  terjadi karena  pada  usia  tersebut,  anak  dalam  proses  penguasaan  bahasa  sesudah bahasa pertama dan setidaknya dipengaruhi oleh dua hal, yaitu faktor fisiologis dan psikologis. Faktor fisiologis meliputi organ-organ penghasil tuturan seperti mulut dan fungsi otak. Sementara itu, faktor psikologis meliputi perkembangan kognitif  seorang  anak  dalam  proses  penguasaan  bahasa  pertamanya.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penyimpangan tuturan bahasa anak usia 4 tahun dengan kajian semantik yang didapatkan dari pemerolehan bahasanya. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik sadap. Teknik lanjutan yang digunakan adalah berupa simak libat cakap,  rekam,  dan  catat.  Metode  analisis  yang  digunakan  mencakup  metode padan  ekstralingual  yang  digunakan  untuk  menganalisis  unsur  yang  bersifat ekstralingual, seperti menghubungkan masalah bahasa dengan hal yang berada di luar bahasa. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan bahasa anak  usia  4  tahun  bisa  dikatakan  dalam  taraf  atau  proses  perkembangan bahasa yang nantinya bisa sempurna saat usia bertambah. Penyimpangan yang ditemukan  meliputi  12  penyimpangan  kata  yang  sering  kali  diucapkan  oleh anak. Hubungan dengan semantik pemerolehan bahasa anak usia 4 tahun dinilai masih dalam tahap perkembangan sesuai dengan usia mereka. Penyimpangan tuturan  yang  ditemukan  meliputi  penyimpangan  tuturan  di  bidang  semantik yaitu ketidaksesuaian antara satu kata yang diucapkan dengan acuannya. Kata Kunci: Pemerolehan Bahasa, Semantik, Penyimpangan Tuturan.

Abstract

Efforts to preserve the legendary cultural heritage and in the framework of seeking the identity of the nation as well as the diversity of ethnic groups in Indonesia, one way to do is to collect and care for folklore. This research as a means to treat foklor legend of Lake Ranu and Ngebel legend Telaga. Both legends have almost the same story, both the character and the story. The purpose of this study is to determine the similarities and differences in the two legends, through its structure, function and cultural values. Such long-term goal in this study is, to provide knowledge about oral literature research on literature students who can be used as a reference for the future. In addition, this research can also provide new knowledge for the general public about the storyline of the legend of Lake Ngebel and the legend of Lake Ranu. Based on the results of research that has been done then can be drawn a conclusion, namely: the structure there are four equations and has three differences. Something contained in the two legends have three functions, namely; as entertainment, as a means of legitimizing institutions and cultural institutions, as child educators. For the cultural values contained in these two legends are the value of Diktatik, Ethical, and Religious values
