Abstract

Research about the implementation  of  local content program based on the ?Orang Laut? culture to increase concept acquisition of 8th grade student has been done. The purpose of this research to increase of chemistry concept acquisition junior secondary school students at chemistry learning, by applying of chemistry local content program based on the ?Orang Laut? culture. Research conduct used quasi-experiment method. Research subjects were 8th grade students in Tanjungpinang city that consist of 99 and 94 students on experiment and control groups, respectively. Score of acquisition concept collected by validated test instrument.  Pretest and posttest scores used to calculate of normalized gain (N-gain) average of experiment and control groups. To compare the increasing of  concept acquisition on the experiment and control class conduct by statistical t-test with ?=0,05. The research result indicated that applying of chemistry local content program based on the ?Orang Laut? culture at chemistry  learning could  increase of chemistry concept acquisition junior secondary school students, better than conventional chemistry learning. The difference of  concept acquisition increase on the  experiment and control groups is significant ( tcalc = 8,895; p=0,000) with  average of N-gain percent  were 43 and 20 in the middle and low categories, respectively.  Increasing  of  concept acquisition at  experiment group on the label concept of matter characteristics is highest  and the label concept of matter particles is lowest with N-gain average by 44 and 26 percent, respectively.

Abstract

Kompetensi profesional guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) belum efektif dalam mengupayakan mutu pembelajaran di kelas. Tugas dan tanggung jawab yang dilaksanakan guru SD juga belum dijalankan dengan baik. Riset ini bertujuan mengungkap kerangka pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi (TIK) dalam proses pembelajaran oleh guru SD di Kepulauan Riau. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan merupakan kombinasi metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dua tahap. Tahap awal dengan studi kualitatif yang melibatkan 11 orang ahli. Tahap kedua berupa studi kuantitatif yang melibatkan 443 responden terdiri dari guru, kepala sekolah, dan pengawas SD di Kabupaten Bintan dan kota Tanjung Pinang. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa pedoman wawancara secara daring dengan aplikasi Zoom Cloud Meeting dan kuesioner online menggunakan Google form. Data hasil kuesioner dianalisis dengan bantuan Aplikasi SPSS versi 20. Pengungkapan struktur keterkaitan komponen kemampaun TIK guru SD dengan unsurnya menggunakan Aplikasi SEM PLS versi 3. Hasil penelitian dapat mengungkap bahwa pemanfaatan TIK untuk pengembangan diri guru SD dengan unsur-unsurnya yaitu: adanya motivasi untuk belajar TIK, terampil menggunakan TIK, meningkatkan kemampuan penggunaan TIK, menerapkan TIK dalam pembelajaran, dan mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis TIK. Hasil penelitian dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman peningkatan kemampuan guru SD di Kepulauan Riau dalam memanfaatkan TIK untuk proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses dan produk Penempatan Guru PTK Non ASN Guru di Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Fokus penelitian adalah implementasi kebijakan penempatan guru guru Non ASN di Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Subyek penelitian pegawai Biro Kepegawaian dan Tata Usaha, guru PTK Non ASN, anggota masyarakat, dan Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten/Kota sebanyak 85 orang. Rancangan model evaluasi menggunakan DEM (Discrepancy Evaluation Model) dengan hanya dua dari empat langkah, yaitu proses, dan keluaran. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket, dan pedoman wawancara. 5 orang ahli memvalidasi instrumen sebelum digunakan. Hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Proses implementasi kebijakan rekruitmen guru PTK Non ASN meliputi aspek penempatan, monitoring dan evaluasi serta faktor pembatas dengan tidak ada kesenjangan dalam kategori baik; 2) Hasil implementasi kebijakan penempatan guru PTK Non ASN terdapat beberapa kesenjangan yang perlu diperbaiki dalam kategori cukup. Kebijakan penempatan guru PTK Non ASN diikuti berbagai pencatatan, mendorong guru PTK Non ASN menjadi guru tetap (GT), lebih banyak melibatkan pendidikan profesi, mengingat letak geografis dan kepastian penempatan, kebijakan rekrutmen guru PTK Non ASN dilanjutkan dengan perbaikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between self-confidence and student activity in group discussions on Akidah Akhlak subjects at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Bintan. Data were collected by interviews, observation, documentation, and distributing questionnaires. The subjects in this study were students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Bintan, with total 196 people. Samples were taken 30% of the total population, they were 59 people. The data were analyzed using the percentage formula and the product moment correlation technique with the SPSS application. The results of this study indicate that students’ self-confidence and student activity in group discussions have strong and significant positive correlation according to the results 0.733 and sig. 0.000.
