Abstract

Desa Olele terletak di pesisir Teluk Tomini yang dikenal dengan Pantai Olele, dengan keindahan bawah laut yang menakjubkan dan merupakan unggulan wisata bahari Provinsi Gorontalo. Berdasarkan kondisi geografis dan geologisnya, pesisir pantai berpotensi mengalami bencana alam antara lain gempa bumi tektonik, tsunami, angin topan/badai, dan tanah longsor, maupun oleh faktor non alam. Oleh karena itu melelaui kegiatan KKN Tematik ini dilaksanakan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat potensi-potensi bencana, pemetaan dan pembuatan jaur evakuasi, pembuatan Peta Rawan Bencana serta sosialisasi dan pelatihan Mitigasi Bencana.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey, sosialisasi, dan pendampingan terhadapĀ  masyarakat terkait mitigasi bencana alam di daerah pesisir pantai. Sosialisasi dimaksudkan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengertian terhadap jenis-jenis kemungkinan bencana yang terjadi di daerah pesisir dan mitigasi terhadap bencana sesuai dengan jenis bencana yang terjadi menuju Desa Olele sebagai Desa Tangguh Bencana (Destana).Hasil dari kegiatan KKN Tematik ini adalah: 1) Kegiatan ini mendapat apresiasi dari masyarakat Desa Olele, 2) Seluruh program terlaksana dengan baik walaupun ada kegiatan-kegiatan yang bergeser waktu pelaksanaannya, 3) Sosialisasi Desa Tagguh Bencana harus terus-menerus dipantau keberlanjutannya, dan 4) Kerjasama dan koordinasi dengan mitra sangat penting untuk kelancaran pelaksanaan program.

Abstract

This research was conducted to assess the level of community satisfaction with clean water services provided through the PAMSIMAS (Community-Based Drinking Water and Sanitation Provision) program in Tihu Village, Bonepantai Subdistrict. Clean water is a fundamental necessity for life; however, the PAMSIMAS service still faces several issues, such as low water clarity and unstable supply, particularly during the rainy season. This evaluation aimed to identify the extent to which the community feels satisfied and to provide recommendations for program management improvement. This research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive design. The sample consisted of 60 respondents out of 150 active users, determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected using a Likert-scale-based questionnaire covering seven main variables: water quality, continuity, reliability, accessibility, cost affordability, community participation, and responsiveness to complaints. The data were analyzed using SPSS with validity tests, reliability tests, and descriptive analysis. The results indicated that the majority of the community was reasonably satisfied with the PAMSIMAS clean water service, although complaints remained regarding water quality and availability. Then, validity and reliability tests confirmed that the research instruments were appropriate for use. The highest satisfaction levels were found in accessibility and affordability, while water quality and continuity received the lowest satisfaction scores. Overall, the PAMSIMAS clean water service in Tihu Village has provided considerable benefits; however, improvements are needed, particularly in technical aspects and water distribution management, to ensure sustainable and equitable service in the future.

Abstract

This research employs a quantitative approach, which includes assessing community satisfaction with clean water services and testing water quality based on the standards outlined in the Minister of Health Regulation No. 2 of 2023. The results indicate that community perception falls into the "Strong" category at 79.22% regarding water availability during the dry season, but only 55.32% of respondents expressed satisfaction with the clean water program, indicating a relatively low level of satisfaction. It can be concluded that the dry season has a significant impact on the availability and quality of clean water. The quality test results indicate that the water used by the community does not meet the clean water standards set by the Ministry of Health. Several physical and microbiological parameters, such as turbidity and the presence of E. coli and Coliform exceed the permissible limits for potable water. This research recommends that the governmenwor related agencies pay greater attention to clean water treatment in order to maintain water quality.

Abstract

Concrete is a versatile construction material that has had a major impact on global reconstruction. This is because concrete is an important element in the formation of structures, due to its high compressive strength. This study aims to analyze the effect of adding trass to the compressive strength of concrete as a filler. The variations in trass addition were 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%. In addition, this study also produced a product in the form of a practical guide for concrete construction based on fillers. The method used was laboratory testing with a concrete compression testing machine to determine the strength characteristics of each percentage Concrete mix. The materials used include cement, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, from PT. HPP HARMONIS Telaga Biru, and the trass used is Lompoto'o trass, Central Suwawa. The testing was carried out at the Civil Engineering Laboratory of Gorontalo State University. The results of the study showed that concrete with 0% trass had a strength of 25.93 MPa, 5% trass had a strength of 27.51 MPa, 10% trass had a strength of 24.37 MPa, 15% trass had a strength of 22.55 MPa, and 20% trass had a strength of 21.48 MPa. The conclusion is that the addition of trass will increase the strength of concrete at a certain percentage, and the effect of using trass in concrete as an additive causes an increase in the volume weight of concrete. In addition, the validity results of the developed guidelines showed a value of 83.4%, which falls into the good category, so it can be said to be effective in supporting concrete practical activities or concrete with trass additives.
