Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Ritual Ziarah Masyarakat Kapota di KoburuLa Bapa: Studi Di Desa Kapota, Kecamatan Wangi-wangi Selatan Kabupaten Wakatobi. Teori yang digunakan mengacu pada teori Victor Turner. Penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif Kualitatif dengan melakukan beberapa tahapan yakni, observasi, wawancara biasa, wawan mendalam, dan pengamatan terlibat yang kemudian data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Etnografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa masyarakat Kapota percaya dan kerab menjadikan makan La Bapa di Benteng Togo Molengo tersebut sebagai sarana untuk ritual mistik seperti upacara adat dan keagamaan, yaitu seperti berhajad atau bernazar, berdoa meminta keselamatan dan kesembuhan dari segala penyakit, dengan cara melalui perantara keberkatan dan kesucian La Bapa atau Bapak Barakati yang dianggap sebagai orang sakti dan leluhur. Melalui perantara Bapak Barakati ini, sehingga diyakini mampu menghilangkan dan memulihkan orang sakit.

Abstract

This research aims to know and describe how the TikTok application is used among FIB UHO students, and what the impact of the TikTok application is on students at FIB UHO. The method in this study is a qualitative research method with data collection methods combining involved observation techniques (observation participation) and in-depth interviews (in-depth interviews). The results show that the use of the TikTok application among FIB UHO students is as follows: TikTok content that is useful, as a means of socializing, has interesting features, as a medium of expression, a means of communicating, following trends, and as a lifestyle. Meanwhile, the impact of the TikTok application on FIB UHO students is divided into two, namely the positive impact and the negative impact. The positive impacts are: sharing information, can encourage student creativity, updating information and as a learning tool. The negative impact is: reducing the quality of student sleep, and can inhibit other work and waste quotas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Pilgrimage Ritual of the Kapota Community in KoburuLa Ayah: Study in Kapota Village, South Wangi-wangi District, Wakatobi Regency. The theory used refers to the theory of Victor Turner. The author uses a qualitative descriptive method by carrying out several stages namely, observation, regular interviews, in-depth interviews, and involved observations which then the data obtained are analyzed using the ethnographic method.The results showed that the Kapota community believed and used to eat La Ayah at the Togo Molengo Fort as a means for mystical rituals such as traditional and religious ceremonies, such as making pilgrimages or vows, praying for safety and healing from all diseases, by means of intermediary blessings and the holiness of La Father or Mr. Barakati who is considered a sacred person and an ancestor. Through this intermediary Mr. Barakati, it is believed that he is able to eliminate and restore sick people.
