Abstract

Journal publication is a tool that is widely used by scientists to disseminate their work. Scientists need reference sources to support the result of his research. Literature cited to support his writing are then listed as reference. ISJD is the Indonesian journal indexer containing more than 250,000 articles. Out of those 250,000 articles, how many articles cite other articles from Indonesian journals. Citation is a form of scientific communication among scientists. This study was aimed at finding out how Indonesian scientists communicate one another through journal publication. Another objective was to find out the types of literature cited in the study. Samples were taken from the ISJD database in health sciences. From the analysis, it was found that articles cite other articles from Indonesian journals comparatively low, only 7,7%. The use of citations of Indonesian Scientific journal published by foreign is the most widely cited literature followed by Indonesian books, foreign books, Indonesian journals, newspaper/ web articles, Indonesian dissertations/ theses, Indonesian proceedings, Indonesian undergraduate thesis, Indonesian reports research/ technical reports, foreign proceedings, Indonesian Law, foreign research reports / technical reports, and foreign dissertations/ theses. Beside the type of literature, literatur was also distinguished by the publisher (Indonesian and foreign). The most frequently cited literature was journal that published by foreign. The second was Indonesian books, than foreign books, Indonesian journals, newspaper articles/ web articles, Indonesian dissertations/theses, Indonesian proceedings, Indonesian undergraduate thesis, Indonesian reports research / technical reports, foreign proceedings, Indonesian Law, foreign research reports/ technical reports, and foreign dissertations/ theses.

Abstract

Librarian job satisfaction is influenced by a number of factors, among others, the working environment, motivation, and compensation. Knowing the relationship between these factors will be helpful for the improvement of job satisfaction, which in turn will improve the professionalism of librarians. This study aims to measure the correlation between these factors. Respondents are librarians within Indonesian Institute of Science, with the post of librarian executing, implementing advanced, supervisors, first, the young and middle. Collecting data using questionnaires, while the correlation measurement using the method of Kendal and Spearman. The study results show that there is no significant relationship between work environment factors and compensation as well as among the factors of motivation and compensation.

Abstract

This dataset provides comprehensive information on pregnant women’s information-seeking behavior regarding functional food in Bogor City. In addition, this dataset also includes variables that describe the perceptions and knowledge of pregnant women about functional food. The data was collected through a survey among pregnant women who checked their pregnancies at the Community Health Centre in Bogor City. In the survey, sample selection was conducted using a purposive random sampling method, considering the representation of each health center in Bogor City to ensure more representative results. The potential of using this dataset is vast; various stakeholders, including librarians, government, and researchers, can utilize the dataset. Using this dataset, stakeholders can develop a more effective information service environment on functional foods suitable for pregnant women’s needs. In addition, other researchers can use this dataset to compare pregnant women’s information-seeking behavior, perceptions, and knowledge about functional foods in different regions, thus enriching research in this area.

Abstract

Pregnant women tend to be more concern with the health and food issue. During pregnancy, women will have physiological changes, such as intestinal disorders, metabolic diseases, and obesity. They tend to reduce consume of food with pregnancy-related health risk. In order to achieve a healthy pregnancy, information related to health and food issue are needed. Pregnant women were actively seek information from a variety of sources. The research method used is literature review, we would like to identify which source of information that most used by pregnant to meet their information need and how is their belief about the sources. The conclusion of this study that information required by pregnant women related with information regarding medicine or medication use in pregnancy, nutrition, and health disorders. Dominant information used by pregnant women were health practitioners, online information, and family/friends. Although used by many pregnant women, the internet believed as an unreliable source of health information. Health practitioners were the main trusted information sources. This study is essential for information provider in designing healthy living information and educating health literacy for pregnant women.
