<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine whetherthere was influence in the use of send a Problemlearning model with conventional methods on the ability to analyze cases of rights violation and denial of obligations as a citizen in SMA N 6 Surakarta. The population of researchwas eleventh grade students of SMA N 6 Surakarta 2016/2017 academic year. The sample of research were students of class XI MIPA 3 as an experimental class and XI MIPA 2 as a control class.Each class consists of 31 students. So, the sample in this researchwere 62 students.The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The method employed in this research was an experimental research. The design of this research was quasi-experimental design with intact group comparison. The research data were collected by using techniques ofObservation, Sheet Analysis of Learning Implementation Plan, and Student cognitive tests. The data prerequisite analysis used the independent test, the normality test and the homogeneity test, and the proposed hypotheses of the research were tested by using t-test.The result of this research indicated that there was a difference of influence of Send a Problemlearning modelin experimental class with conventional methods on the ability to analyze cases of rights violation and denial of obligation as a citizen in SMA N 6 Surakarta. The average score for the experimental class was 80.45 and the control class was 72.38.The result of t-test showed tcount 4,624 and ttable with significance level ? = 0,05, db = n1 + n2 - 2 = 31 + 31-2 = 60, so obtained ttable of 1.678 (interpolation). So it can be concluded that The value of tcount was higher than ttable, or 4,624? 1678,. Based on the result of T Test Tests, We can conclude that there was a different influence of Send a Problem learning model on the ability to analyze cases of rights violation and denial of obligations as a citizen in SMA N 6 Surakarta.
