Abstract

Character education is education that instills and develops character in students, applies and practices it in life both in the school, family and community environment. This character building is done through scout extracurricular activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the moral character and behavior of students through scout extracurricular activities in class IV UPT SD Negeri 112 Gresik, with a total of 10 students, namely five boys and five girls. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. data collection methods by observation, interviews and questionnaires. The results of this research indicate that character education carried out through scout extracurricular activities is expected to be able to create moral character that includes religious values, honesty, discipline, independence, responsibility, and social care. With the education of moral values of students through scout extracurriculars, it is hoped that students will be able to understand scouting values, for example, help, independence, discipline, and responsibility and can make them better individuals and can be applied in everyday life.

Abstract

Pesantren economics is an economic concept where pesantren manages and develops businesses with various innovations that can specifically benefit Islamic boarding schools and benefit the community in general in realizing economic independence. The purpose of this study is to find out the economic management model of the pesantren applied by the Tanwirul Islam Sampang Islamic boarding school and to find out the challenges faced by the Tanwirul Islam Sampang Islamic boarding school in managing the pesantren economy to realize economic independence. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation related to economic management at the Tanwirul Islam Sampang Islamic Boarding School. The results of the study show that the Tanwirul Islam Islamic boarding school implements the pesantren economic management model with an alumni-based economic development model, by utilizing the potential of alumni for the management of the pesantren business unit and implementing an entrepreneurship curriculum at the formal education level of students and involving external parties such as the surrounding community.

Abstract

The low development of children's fine motor skills preschool. This can be seen when children do collage play activities, many children are not neat in making collage patterns.To determine the effect of playing collage on the fine motor development of preschool children in the kindergarten Keiynan Dan Mawadah Warohmah Palembang City In 2021.This type of research is pre-experimental design with one group pretest posttest. The study population was all children in KB keiynan dan KB Mawadah Warohmah Kota Palembang. The sampling technique is Simple Random Sampling. The number of samples is 26 respondents who have met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis techniques using the Wilcoxon. Based on the results of  bivariate test results using the Wilcoxon, a significant value is obtained (ρ-value = 0,000), so <0.05.There is an effect of playing collage on the fine motor development of preschool children in the kindergarten Keiynan Dan Mawadah Warohmah Palembang City In 2021.The results of this study can be used as consideration and reference for those who want to further develop research in the same field, especially in improving the fine motor skills of preschool children.

Abstract

The use of biodiesel as a mixture of diesel fuel has become one of the solutions to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The B-35 diesel program, consisting of a mixture of 35% biodiesel with 65% diesel, is an initiative of the Indonesian government to realize more sustainable energy. This study aims to analyze various test parameters of B-35 diesel, including density (ASTM D 1298), viscosity (ASTM D 445), and residual carbon content (ASTM D 4350), and analyze their impact on diesel engine efficiency and performance. The test method is carried out by measuring density using a hydrometer, viscosity using a kinematic viscometer, and carbon residue by heating the sample at a temperature of 500°C. The results showed that the B-35 diesel mixture had a higher density (855,72 kg/m3) and viscosity (3,150 mm2/s) compared to pure diesel, which was 840 kg/m3 and 2,8 mm2/s, making the fuel injection process uniform. The residual carbon content of 0.14%, which is lower than pure diesel, which is 0.18%, helps reduce the potential for the formation of combustion residue buildup in the engine, thereby helping to maintain engine performance. Based on these results, the use of B-35 diesel can be a more environmentally friendly alternative and support the improvement of diesel engine performance. Abstract

In making a significant contribution to the development of Arabic language learning methodology at the MI level through the development of an internship program model that is adapted to the characteristics of MI students, this research aims to analyze the effect of an internship program using interactive methods on increasing the ability to master Arabic vocabulary (mufradat) of grade 5 MI students. An-Najah. The research used a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class VB as an experimental class (25 students) which was treated with interactive methods through an internship program and class VC as a control class (22 students) with conventional methods. Data collection is carried out through written tests and documentation. Data analysis used the Independent Sample T-Test with the help of SPSS version 20. The results showed significant differences between the two classes, with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). The average posttest score for the experimental class reached 83.85, while the control class was only 76.07. The research conclusion proves that the internship program with interactive methods is effective in increasing students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary through a student-centered learning approach, a variety of teaching methods, and a higher intensity of language practice.
