Abstract

Antropometri kaki digunakan untuk mengetahui struktur dan bentuk kaki. Setiap individu memiliki antropometri kaki yang berbeda-beda yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor usia, ras, wilayah, pekerjaan, dan jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan profil antropometri kaki kanan dan kiri pada mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif analitik dengan desain cross-sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 198 orang yang didapatkan dengan metode purposive random sampling. Tujuh dimensi kaki diukur secara langsung pada 198 mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan yang meliputi panjang kaki, lebar kaki, panjang sisi lateral kaki, panjang pergelangan kaki, lingkar pergelangan kaki, tinggi lengkung kaki, dan panjang sisi medial kaki. Data kemudian dianalisa dengan Unpaired T-Test dan Paired T-Test untuk data terdistribusi normal dan uji Mann-Whitney serta uji Wilcoxon untuk data yang tidak terdistribusi normal. Hasil uji statistik profil antropometri kaki kanan pada laki-laki dan perempuan menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan (p<0.05), begitu juga pada profil antropometri kaki kiri antara laki-laki dan perempuan menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan (p<0.05). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan profil antropometri kaki kanan dan kaki kiri pada laki-laki dan perempuan.

Abstract

Body mass index (BMI) describes body composition, where body composition is related to nutritional status. BMI values ​​are categorized into underweight, normal, overweight and obese. Overweight and obesity for a long time can cause deformities in the feet, one of which is flat feet. To determine the effect of body mass index on the arch index of the soles of the feet in Uisu students and students. This study is an analytic study, cross sectional design It shows that the number of respondents based on age is known from 76 respondents, it was found that 46 (60.5%) respondents were 20 years old with 35 (46.1%) male respondents who had a Body Mass Index (BMI) of respondents by category normal weigh of 34 people (44.7%), as well as the arch index of the foot obtained 43 (56.6%) of respondents with low arch (flat), and the results of statistical tests with a correlation value (r) are positive and positive of 0.4527 which means that there is a moderate correlation and p value (0.000) <0.05 indicates that there is a significant correlation between body mass index and foot arch index in FK UISU students.

Abstract

Hypertension is a disease suffered by one billion people in the world, including 2/3 of Hypertension sufferers who are in developing countries. This hypertension often occurs in adults but is more susceptible to Blood pressure if it is continuously high can cause damage to blood vessels, kidneys, heart, and circulation or even death This community service activity aims to provide education to 25 temporary village residents of Pantai Cermin Serdang Bedagai about prevention, early detection and treatment of Hypertension which is the main disease of the elderly. From the results of this service, the temporary village community who experienced the most mild Hypertension was 48% and consumed a lot of salt and excessive fat as much as 52%, the community experienced Obesity II excess weight by 44%, elderly age by 40%, female gender by 84%, had no history of hypertension in their families by 68%. with the status of elementary school/MI education level of 64%, Pretest score <70 as many as 10 people (40%), pretest score >70 as many as 15 people (60%) then Post test score <70 as many as 1 person (4%) and post test score >70 as many as 24 people (96%). There was an increase in the value of health education knowledge about Hypertension after the counseling was carried out
