Abstract

Effleurage is a massage technique commonly used in relaxation massage and therapeutic massage. This technique involves massaging the surface of the skin gently and repeatedly using the palms of the hands or fingers. Effleurage is usually used as part of an initial massage to prepare the client's body before deeper massage techniques are used. The gentle, rhythmic movements of effleurage help relax clients physically and mentally. This light, regular touch helps reduce muscle tension and improves blood circulation. Effleurage is used to warm up muscles and joints before a deeper massage. This helps prevent injury and makes the muscles more responsive to more intensive massage techniques. This study aimed to determine the potential of effleurage massage on the scale of back pain in third trimester pregnant women at TPMB (Midwife Independent Practice) Ratna Dewi Gunung Putri District, Bogor Regency, Indonesia. This research is an experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design approach and uses primary data which was obtained using an assessment instrument in the form of the numeric rating scale (NRS) to determine the level of back pain in pregnant women. A total of 30 research subjects participated in this study, where the research subjects met the inclusion criteria. The research was conducted at TPMB (Midwife Independent Practice) Ratna Dewi, Gunung Putri District, Bogor Regency, Indonesia. This study shows that massage effleurage intervention is effective in reducing the intensity of back pain in pregnant women in the third trimester. There was a decrease in pain intensity after effleurage massage and it was stated to be statistically different, p<0.05. In conclusion, there is an effect of effleurage massage on back pain in third trimester pregnant women at TPMB (Midwife Independent Practice) Ratna Dewi, Gunung Putri District, Bogor Regency, Indonesia.

The treatment group received endorphin massage therapy for 30 minutes 10 times, while the control group received no therapy. Anxiety data was measured using the state-trait anxiety inventory (STAI) questionnaire. The results showed that there was a significant difference in anxiety between the treatment group and the control group after receiving therapy (p < 0.05). Anxiety in the treatment group decreased significantly after receiving therapy, while anxiety in the control group did not change. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that endorphin massage is effective in reducing anxiety in third-trimester pregnant women.

Anemia is a health problem around the world, including developing countries where it is estimated that 30% of the world's population suffers from anemia. The problem of low Hb levels that trigger anemia affects 56 million women, and as many as two-thirds of them are from Asia. Lack of knowledge about the source of iron intake triggers anemia, the most common one found in Indonesia is iron deficiency anemia (Bambang, 2012). Iron deficiency anemia more often affects pregnant women, this is because during pregnancy the need for iron increases. Abstract

The Linggarjati Museum is a historical site with significant importance in Indonesia’s diplomatic journey during the independence revolution, particularly in relation to the Linggarjati Agreement of 1946. This study aims to analyze the role of the Linggarjati Museum as a historical and cultural tourism destination and its relevance in strengthening history education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through literature studies and document analysis related to museum functions, the concept of historical tourism, and character education based on national values. The results of the study indicate that the Linggarjati Museum not only functions as an institution for preserving artifacts and the nation’s collective memory, but also as a contextual learning resource capable of improving students’ understanding of the dynamics of Indonesia’s independence diplomacy. The integration of museum visits into the history learning process contributes to improving historical literacy, historical awareness, and the internalization of nationalism and diplomacy values. In addition, museum management based on educational tourism and sustainability principles has the potential to strengthen local cultural identity while supporting the development of the regional tourism sector. Thus, the Linggarjati Museum has a strategic role as a living history laboratory that is relevant to strengthening the quality of history education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract

Introduction: Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that impairs children's physical and cognitive development. A mother's knowledge is a crucial factor in preventing stunting, as it influences her behavior and decisions regarding child nutrition and care. Objectives: This study aimed to describe the level of knowledge about stunting among mothers of toddlers at the Posyandu Camelia, Rawalumbu District, Bekasi City. Method: This quantitative descriptive study used a cross-sectional approach. A sample of 27 mothers was selected using consecutive sampling during February 2025. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using univariate analysis. Knowledge was categorized as good (76-100%), sufficient (56-75%), and poor (<56%). Result: The majority of respondents were aged 20–30 years (55.56%), had a bachelor's degree (59.26%), and were unemployed (70.37%). The study found that most mothers (55.56%) had a poor level of knowledge about stunting, while 25.93% had a sufficient level, and only 18.52% had a good level. Conclution: A significant portion of mothers at Posyandu Camelia have a poor level of knowledge regarding stunting, despite a high level of formal education.
