Abstract

Finding a restaurant location as a place to enjoy food becomes something that is very inconvenient, especially for tourists or food connoisseurs who are not familiar with the area. It takes several tools, especially the use of Android-based smartphones as an operating system that is very popular with the public lately. This research is expected to make it easier for users to find food in restaurants that users want. The use of this system is divided into two, namely admin and user (general users). This system is integrated with the existing GPS on the smartphone. This application also shows the distance traveled and time traveled by motorbike or car to the location and displays an estimate if using public transportation.

Abstract

The Clos Network is a switching network that represents an ideal theory of many level telephone switching systems in practice. analyze the performance of the Clos switching system on processor-memory interconnects. The performance analyzed is the probability of blocking. To measure the performance of the Clos switching system, you must first know how to build a network, how it works, and what performance can be measured from the Clos switching network without buffers. Blocking probability will be calculated using the Lee method and Jacobeus method. The results obtained show an accurate calculation of the Clos switching system that is the probability of blocking with the Lee and Jacobeus method with the parameters of the number of input switches n (with values of 64, 120, and 240), the number of switches between m (with a value of 64, 68, 72, 76, 128, and 256) and the probability given by the input and output links is busy ρ (with a value of 0.6 to 0.95 with a range of 0.05), where with the increase of the switch value the probability blocking value with the Lee method and the Jacobeus method of the switching system it decreases with the difference in the results obtained is quite small. For the value of n = 64, m = 64, ρ = 0.6, the value of the blocking probability is smaller that is 7.97365x10-6 for the Pb value of the Lee method and 7.15779x10-6 for the Pb value of the Jacobeus method and for n = 240, m = 256, and ρ = 0.6, the smaller Pb value is 1.3263x10-25 for the Pb value of the Jacobeus method and 1.24705x10-24 for the Lee Pb method value. If the difference in the number of input switches and switches between is not too large, both methods (Lee and Jacobeus) can be chosen because they show almost the same performance, but if the difference in the number of input switches and between the greater, the Jacobeus method produces better performance

Abstract

The ability to think creatively is the ability of students to find solutions that are unusual, unique and have never been found by others. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of creative thinking skills possessed by students. The approach to this study uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, often also known as the weighted sum method. The basic concept of the SAW method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes. The results of this study show that students can be divided into 2 parts of creative students, namely creative students are accepted and students who are not creative are not accepted. Data collection is done by providing creative types that have been done by students and includes indicators of creative thinking skills, namely fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. In this study, it was found that 5 students had a very creative thinking ability, 1 student had a creative thinking ability and 1 student had a low creative thinking ability.

Abstract

Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) sebagai protokol dynamic routing berbasis link-state menawarkan mekanisme perhitungan jalur paling optimal melalui algoritma Shortest Path First (SPF).

Abstract

Abstract

Until now, the problem of theft of motorbikes and livestock in North Sumatra is still quite high.  Locations for motorbike theft can occur in many places such as schools, homes, parking lots, offices and so on, while for livestock it can occur on pastures and in pens during the day or night and the perpetrators are men. To make this theft a success, various modes are used in varying human positions, from sitting, squatting to standing. To help overcome this, several object detection methods have been developed such as Background Subtraction, Template Matching, Histogram Oriented Gradient (HOG), Deformable Part-based Model (DPM) and Viola Jones (VJ).   Of the many methods that have been used, there are still shortcomings, namely in terms of time, accuracy and various human positions.  For this reason, research was carried out with the aim of improving the time and level of accuracy in detecting human objects using the YOLO method. The research stages carried out in this research include literature study, collecting data, determining training and test data, creating programs, training, and testing. From the trials carried out, it is known that YOLO can detect humans in various positions with a mAP value of 0.99 and an average detection time of 810.01 ms.
