Abstract

In the 21st Century learning, it requires students to develop the 4Cs, one of which is thinking. Classroom learning is needed where students are motivated in learning activities so that they are actively involved and bring up critical thinking. To achieve these demands, the Teams Games Tournament learning model has the opportunity to be able to make students actively involved and the same time practice their critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect and describe the response to the Teams games Tournament learning model assisted by the Truth or dare media on critical thinking skills in the body's defense system. This research was conducted in one of the senior high schools in Baleendah with a quantitative approach. The time of research was carried out in the 2021/2022 academic year. The sample that uses this model is class XI IPA 2, totaling 35 people. This research instrument uses test questions for influence analysis and questionnaires to determine student responses. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is an increase in critical thinking, the N-Gain value of 0.375 with the medium category of responses and student responses getting an average value of 79%, which means it has a strong interpretation. It can be conclud that through learning the Teams Games Tournament model is assisted by Truth or dare media and there is an increase in critical thinking on the material of the body's defense system and has a very good student response.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems that are often encountered in learning biology in the form of a lack of motivation to learn, which results in low student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the Wordwall-assisted Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review (SQ3R) learning model on student learning outcomes on sensory systems. The method in this study was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The instruments used were observation sheets, multiple-choice questions and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the implementation of teacher and student activities was in a very good category. Student learning outcomes were analyzed using SPSS version 26 to obtain an Asymp value. Sig (2-tiled) is 0.018 < 0.05, thus the hypothesis is accepted, that is, there is an influence of the Wordwall-assisted SQ3R method on student learning outcomes. Student responses to the learning process of the SQ3R model assisted by Wordwall gave positive responses with very good interpretations. The conclusion of this study is that the Wordwall-assisted SQ3R learning model has a positive effect on student learning outcomes in sensory system material.

Abstract

Study This analyze problem biology in class X science book based on Anderson's revised Bloom's Taxonomy and skills communication students. Challenges learning the 21st century demands development think critical and communication, but majority question in book text Still focuses on Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS). Research aiming evaluate conformity question with dimensions cognitive Bloom's Taxonomy and identifying support to skills communication. Research This use approach quantitative descriptive with analyze question in book text based on LOTS and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) categories, as well as supporting elements? communication scientific. Research result show that 66.32% of the questions in virus chapter and 72.29% of questions in chapter diversity creature life is at in LOTS category, with domination level cognitive remembering (C1) and understanding (C2). The proportion of HOTS, such as analysis (C4) and creation (C6), very low, indicating limitations in facilitate think critical. Support to skills communication is also minimal, limited to discussion simple without strengthening presentation or debate. Study This highlight the need improvement amount question HOTS based and enrichment element communication in book text For support learning holistic. Findings This give implications important for development more teaching materials balanced and relevant with demands Independent Curriculum. Books text expected can push student For think critical, creative, and communicative, supporting scientific literacy in the era of modern learning.
