Abstract

In general, rural residents are still impacted by their ancestors' views. Therefore, it is necessary to seek out and implement acceptable da'wah ways in order to carry out da'wah counseling activities that can be well received, without any rejection, particularly for individuals with a formal Islamic character. This study employs descriptive qualitative research methods, a literature-based and empirical methodology, and interview, observation, and documenting procedures for data collecting. Al-Hikmah is the ideal da'wah strategy for the formality Islamic community in Cipedang Lasdam Village RT 007 RW 007 Jayamulya Village, Kroya Indramayu District, according to the findings of the study. This is because the prevalent da'wah method corresponds to the features of the local population. This style emphasizes persuasive strategies and a prior awareness of the features of the da'wah's target. Due to the fact that the material and manner of distributing da'wah are adapted to the community's circumstances and requirements, this method is ideally suited for application in a rural setting.Keywords: Da'wah Method; Public; Islamic Formality; Rural AbstrakUmumnya, masyarakat yang bertempat tinggal di pedesaan masih dipengaruhi kepercayaan yang dianut terdahulu. Karena itu, metode dakwah yang sesuai perlu dicari serta diaplikasikan agar bisa melakukan kegiatan penyuluhan dakwah yang dapat diterima dengan baik, tanpa adanya penolakan, terkhusus untuk masyarakat dengan karakter Islam formalitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pendekatan literatur dan empiris serta teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa metode dakwah yang sesuai untuk masyarakat Islam formalitas yang bertempat tinggal di Kampung Cipedang Lasdam RT 007 RW 002 Desa Jayamulya Kecamatan Kroya Indramayu adalah Al-Hikmah. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya kesesuaian antara metode dakwah yang digemari dan karakteristik dari masyarakat setempat. Bentuk metode ini mengedepankan tehnik persuasif dan pemahaman karakteristik terlebih dahulu mengenai objek sasaran dakwah. Maka dari itu, metode ini sangat sesuai diaplikasikan pada lingkungan pedesaan karena materi serta proses penyampaian dakwah yang dilakasanakan menyesuaikan dengan keadaan dan kebutuhan dari masyarakat.Kata Kunci: Metode Dakwah; Masyarakat; Islam Formalitas; Pedesaan

Abstract

The management of imarah which is applied by the mosque management in prospering the Islamic Center Syekh Abdul Manan Indramayu Mosque is the center of attention and how the mosque management faces the opportunities and challenges that exist because it is an icon of Indramayu. The purpose of this research is to find out how the management system of the Islamic Center Syekh Abdul Manan Indramayu Mosque in the field of emirates and to find out the opportunities and challenges in prospering the Islamic Center Syekh Abdul Manan Indramayu Mosque. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the process of prospering mosques implemented by mosque administrators has met the requirements of existing mosque management knowledge, therefore the author can say that the Islamic Center Syekh Abdul Manan Indramayu Mosque can be used as an example as well as a benchmark for mosques that others, especially those in the City of Indramayu, because the mosque management applied is almost close to perfection. Manajemen imarah yang diterapkan oleh pengurus masjid dalam memakmurkan Masjid Islamic Center Syekh Abdul Manan Indramayu menjadi pusat perhatian serta bagaimana pihak pengurus masjid dalam menghadapi peluang dan tantangan yang ada karena merupakan ikon Indramayu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana sistem manajemen Masjid Islamic Center Syekh Abdul Manan Indramayu di bidang imarah serta untuk mengetahui peluang dan tantangan dalam memakmurkan Masjid Islamic Center Syekh Abdul Manan Indramayu. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan doumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses dari memakmurkan masjid yang diterapkan oleh pengurus masjid sudah memenuhi syarat-syarat ilmu manajemen masjid yang telah ada, maka dari itu penulis dapat mengatakan bahwa Masjid Islamic Center Syekh Abdul Manan Indramayu dapat dijadikan contoh sekaligus patokan untuk masjid-masjid yang lain, khususnya yang ada di Kota Indramayu, dikarenakan manajemen masjid yang diterapkan hampir saja mendekati kesempurnaan.

Abstract

The development of da’wah in the modern era demands professional, systematic, and data-driven management in response to increasing societal complexity and advancements in information technology. This article aims to conceptually examine various quantitative research methods relevant to da’wah management studies and to explain their implementation in academic research. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a library research method and descriptive-analytical analysis of relevant scientific literature. The findings indicate that quantitative methods such as surveys, experiments, correlational studies, and ex post facto designs play an important role in measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of da’wah programs in an objective and structured manner. Survey methods are used to identify perceptions, satisfaction, and participation of congregants; experimental methods to test the effectiveness of da’wah strategies; correlational methods to analyze relationships among variables within da’wah organizations; and ex post facto methods to evaluate completed programs. The implementation of quantitative methods in da’wah management functions includes planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling, thereby supporting data-driven decision making. This study concludes that the use of quantitative methods can enhance the quality of da’wah management studies to become more systematic, objective, and evidence-based.

Abstract

In the context of rapid change, especially in the digital and global era, the development of theory becomes essential to maintain the relevance of scientific knowledge. Theory is not only a collection of ideas but also a systematically tested framework used to explain, predict, and interpret various phenomena in human life. This study aims to analyze the development of theory as a foundation for the advancement of science. The research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method by examining various relevant scientific literatures. The results show that theory plays a fundamental role as a conceptual framework, analytical tool, and guide in scientific thinking. The development of theory occurs dynamically through paradigm shifts, technological advancements, and interdisciplinary integration. However, theories also have limitations, especially when they are rigid and unable to adapt to new phenomena. In the modern digital era, the development of theory faces complex challenges, including rapid technological change and emerging global issues. Therefore, adaptive, flexible, and ethically grounded theories are needed to ensure their relevance and contribution to solving societal problems. This study concludes that theory remains a crucial foundation in the development of science and acts as a bridge between abstract knowledge and empirical reality.

Abstract

This study examines the role of scientific methods in research on da'wah management as a systematic approach to developing knowledge and practical implementation. The background of this research is the increasing complexity of da'wah activities in the modern era, which requires a more structured, objective, and data-driven approach. The purpose of this study is to analyze how scientific methods contribute to improving the quality of da'wah management research and practice. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method by analyzing various relevant academic sources such as books, journals, and previous studies. The findings indicate that the application of scientific methods plays a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of da'wah management through systematic planning, implementation, and evaluation. In addition, the scientific approach supports the development of communication strategies, strengthens human resource competencies, and contributes to social change within the community. However, challenges remain, particularly the dominance of normative approaches and limited methodological capabilities. In conclusion, the scientific method is essential in creating professional, adaptive, and impactful da'wah practices, and its integration should be strengthened to support future research and development in da'wah management.

Abstract

Research relationships play an important role in the development of science and evidence-based decision making. In scientific studies, the relationship between variables becomes the main foundation for understanding phenomena systematically and logically. This study aims to analyze the role of research relationships in supporting scientific development and decision making in various fields. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a library research method through the study of books, journals, and relevant scientific literature. The results of the study indicate that research relationships, both causal, correlational, and descriptive, contribute significantly to building scientific concepts, strengthening theories, and producing accurate information for decision making. In addition, understanding research relationships also supports the preparation of more systematic research methodologies and improves the validity of scientific findings. Therefore, research relationships become an important element in the advancement of science and in determining policies and solutions based on scientific data.
