Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss the hadith about protecting oneself from the dangers of the virus during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is included in the type of qualitative research with a literature review through the takhrij and syarah hadith methods as well as contemporary analysis. The results of this study are based on the takhrij hadith process about protecting yourself from the dangers of the virus during the Covid-19 pandemic, which is a valid hadith. The syarah of hadith from this hadith research describes how a person must protect his life by protecting himself from the dangers that threaten him, explanation by giving reasons why humans were created, then Allah's love for his creatures, and protecting himself from a situation that endangers his life is one form of his piety to Allah swt. The conclusion of this study is that the hadith about protecting oneself from the dangers of the virus during the covid-19 pandemic is a valid hadith and is the basis for why a person should prevent himself from entering a country where there is a virus or epidemic. This research has many shortcomings and recommends a re-examination through the approach of the science of hadith itself and a sciences that discusses the reasons why a person must protect his life or protect himself from dangerous situations.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the hadith about alms. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the descriptive-analytical method. The formal object of this research is the science of hadith, while the material object is the hadith about alms in Muslim history No. 4689. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the status of the hadith regarding alms has an authentic quality that meets the qualifications of maqbul ma'mun bih for the practice of Islam from the aspect of wisdom, fiqh review, and alms etiquette. This study concludes that the hadith narrated by Muslim No. 4689 regarding alms in the form of material and non-material such as relevant services used for understanding the values of alms and character building and their implementation in social life in Indonesia.
