Abstract

This paper discusses the effect of the independent variables of workload, recruitment, and selection on the performance of employees of PT. Panen Solusi Engineering either separately or jointly. The method used is the associative linear regression method using a full sample of 85 people. Based on the opinion of previous researchers who stated that recruitment and selection had a positive effect on employee performance. While the workload has a negative effect. By combining these positive and negative influences, it will provide an overview of the effect of workload, recruitment, and selection on the performance of PT. Panen Solusi Engineering. Determination of simple linear regression and multiple linear regression was carried out after testing the validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity. The significance test for simple regression was carried out by t-test by comparing tcount and ttable. Meanwhile, the significance test for multiple regression was performed using the F-test, by comparing Fcount and Ftable. The results obtained for the effect of workload on the performance of employees of PT. Panen Solusi Engineering is negative and significant because tcount <- ttable.( -10,767<-2,372) Meanwhile, the effect of recruitment and selection partially on the performance of PT. Panen Solusi Engineering is positive and significant because tcount > ttable. (8,670 and 6,451 > 2,372). The effect in percent (%) for workload, recruitment and selection (X2) separately is 58.3%., 47.5%. and 33.4%. Meanwhile, the total influence in % is 62.7%.

Abstract

PT Siantar Top Tbk. Medan is a company engaged in the business of snacks in the form of biscuits and snacks. The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic has caused paralysis of almost all human activities which have an impact on a lot of work being done remotely or WFH which can trigger one's boredom in doing some work and thinking about consuming snacks. So the demand for snacks also increases. Of course this is a great opportunity for the company to increase revenue. The increase in demand must also be followed by a good and optimal distribution system. This study aims to determine the truck route in the distribution process of biscuit and snack products. This research was completed by using the Nearest Neighbor and Nearest Insertion methods which will then be compared between the company's initial route and the routing results route by considering the vehicle capacity both in terms of distance traveled and shipping costs. Based on the routing results, it is found that the route with the Nearest Neighbor method is the same as the Nearest Insertion method, namely the total distance generated is 3,360.8 km or with a distance savings presentation of 38.88%. These results greatly affect the shipping costs incurred by the company, namely from Rp. 5. 918,997,- to Rp. 3,527,301,-. So it can be concluded that the company's distribution route that was previously used needs to be improved. The repair can use both methods because the result is the same.

Abstract

MDLY Gold is a small and medium business partner (MSME) engaged in the fashion sector that has been established since 2017. As of 2022, MDLY Gold successfully has 9 production and retail locations throughout the major islands of Indonesia with the main outlet located in Tanah Abang, Jakarta. Center. However, ordering MDLY Gold raw materials requires a lead time of 2 weeks. So this will affect the long production time so that it causes losses for MDLY Gold. Therefore, to maximize raw material inventory and reduce losses, we can analyze using the Economic Order Quantity method. Through solving the inventory control problem, the total Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) of raw material inventory for MDLY Gold production is 27,413.8 Yards during January to June. This EOQ aims to manage inventory that can optimize the total cost consisting of ordering costs and holding costs. Besides this, MDLY Gold must reorder when the stock reaches a reorder point of 17,668.4 Yards with additional supplies needed if there is no shortage of raw materials or safety stock of 10,112.24 Yards. Determination of ROP and SS is useful for MDLY Gold to be able to find out when is the best time to place an order besides there is an order lead time, so that raw materials will arrive on time and the production process will run smoothly without any problems in inventory control.

Abstract

Setiap perusahaan didirikan dengan tujuan mencapai berbagai macam tujuan, termasuk memperoleh keuntungan dan menjaga kelancaran proses operasional. Kelancaran proses operasional sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor pengadaan dan pengendalian barang persediaan penunjang kerja. PT.

Abstract

Business or investment feasibility analysis is research into a business plan that will analyze whether the investment to be made is feasible or not. Amalia Bintang Telur is located in the Cibitung area, Bekasi, West Java and has a branch located in Kalibata, South Jakarta which is the object of this research. This distributor has vehicles in the form of Grandmax type pick-up cars. The car's carrying capacity is 1800 kg. The problem faced by this distributor is that there are frequent delays due to a lack of vehicles for distribution, while there is high demand to be met. Usually, in dealing with these delays, distributors negotiate first with customers. If not addressed, the level of customer satisfaction with this distributor will decrease. There are several methods used to analyze the feasibility of an investment, namely, NPV, PP, Interest Rate (IRR) and Sum off Years Depreciation. It is concluded that the investment in adding a pick up car is worth doing, seen from the resulting positive NPV value of Rp. 942,260,893.38, based on the payback method this investment period is worth doing because the return occurs in the 1st year which produces a cumulative value of positive, the IRR investment method is worth investing in because the IRR value obtained is greater than the MARR used, namely 399% > 15%. For depreciation value, car prices tend to decrease every year. In the first year, the book value decreases by 19.44%, but after that, the depreciation in value will slow down with the depreciation percentage continuing to decrease by 2.34% until the eighth year.
