Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat validitas, reliabilitas, taraf kesukaran, dan daya beda pada soal ujian nasional tahun pelajaran 2008/2009 dan 2009/2010. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dan dilakukan dengan teknik dokumen dari soal ujian nasional dua tahun terakhir. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dipaparkan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa soal-soal ujian nasional ekonomi dengan standar kompetensi dasar akuntansi perusahaan jasa tahun pelajaran 2008/2009 dan tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 kurang sesuai dengan kualifikasi dan keefektifan instrumen evaluasi yang baik terutama pada aspek validitas, taraf kesukaran, dan daya beda soal. Secara umum, jika dibandingkan kualitas soal ujian nasional (UN) tahun pelajaran 2008/2009 dan tahun pelajaran 2009/2010, soal ujian nasional tahun 2008/2009 lebih baik dibandingkan dengan soal ujian nasional tahun pelajaran 2009/2010.

Abstract

This research investigated  Deixis used in the novel entitled The Good Muslim by Tahmima Anam.This study was conducted to find out; (1) types of deixis contained in utterances of the novel entitled the Good Muslim by Tahmima Anam, (2) types of deixis were used most in the Novel entitled The Good Muslim by Tahmima Anam. Therefore, it gived significant to the author herself, the learners, other researchers and english teachers. The writer used levinson’s theory in analyzing the data. The methodology of this research  was qualitative descriptive study. The technique used to collect the data was documentation. The data was taken from 1.972 utterances of the novel entitled the Good Muslim by Tahmima Anam. From the data have been analyzed, it was found that there were five types of deixis, they were person deixis occured 1.723 times (87.4%), place deixis occured 53 times (2.7%), time deixis occured 68 times (3.4%), discourse deixis occured 83 times (4.2 %), person deixis occured 45 times (2.3 %). The most commonly used types of deixis was person deixis occuring 1.723 times (87.4%).

Abstract

The research is motivated by the facts that occur in the field, namely the lack of understanding of students in writing personal letters. In addition, there are still many teachers who use conventional learning models, namely lectures without involving students. Thus, researchers want to compare learning models that suit the needs of students, namely Think Pair Share and Student Team Achievement Division. This study aims to examine differences in the increase in the ability to write personal letters using Think Pair Share and Student Team Achievement Division. To answer the problem formulation, the researcher used a quasi-experimental non-equivalent pre-test post-test control group design method. The population in this study was class VII SMPN 1 Cikampek with purposive sampling and two classes were selected, namely class VII-3 (N=40) as the experimental class using the Student Team Achievement Division model and class VII-1 (N=40) as the experimental class. control class using the Think Pair Share model. Based on the results of data processing using SPSS 16 Software for Windows, it can be concluded that the Student Team Achievement Division model is better than Think Pair Share but there is no significant difference in results. It was obtained that the average pre-test scores of the two classes were relatively the same before being given treatment, namely 65.9 for the experimental class and 65.8 for the control class. Then the value of the experimental class post test is worth 82 and the control class is worth 80.7. Furthermore, the N-Gain value for the experimental class is 0.46 and the control class is 0.43. This means that there is no significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. That way the two models are indeed in accordance with the needs of students..
