Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect the conversion of agricultural land in South Tomohon Subdistrict Tomohon City. In particular, this study looks at internal factors that affect the conversion of agricultural land in South Tomohon Sub-District, Tomohon City. This study was conducted by using secondary data obtained from BPS (Statistics Bureau) office Tomohon City, Subdistrict office and Village Offices in South Tomohon Sub-district. And for the primary data obtained from the direct interview with the farmers. The data is then analyzed by using qualitative data analysis techniques using tables and described descriptively. The results of research showed that land function change happened in this area, allot of land that is as housing (70%). Furthermore, for the main cause of landowners sell or alter the function of agricultural land that is due to the cost of child education and high selling prices.*jnkd*.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leading sectors in the absorption of labor and to know the contribution of the leading sector in the absorption of labor in south Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted for two months starting from months January to months Ferbruay 2018. The date used in this study is secondary date obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) South Minahasa Regency. The date is processed using location quotient analysis (LQ) and the date is presented in table and described descriptively. The research results show that the leading sectors in the absorption of labor in South Minahasa Regency are the processing industry sector, electricity, gas and drinking water sector; and agriculture sector. The first sector with the highest average LQ is the processing industry sector with an average value of LQ 2.22. The second seeded sector is the electricity, gas and dringking water sector with an average LQ of 1.50 and the third leading sector is the agricultural sector with an average LQ of 1.23. The processing industry sector, electricity, gas and dringking water sector and agriculture sector become the leading one because it has LQ value more dominant in the absorption of manpower that the sector the same in north sulawesi province.*er*.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the financial performance of "UD Suyatmo" Tofu Business in Kleak Village, Malalayang District, Manado. The data used in this study are primary data taken from the business in the form of data in 2016 and 2017. The results show TATO (Total Assets Turn Over) in 2016 of 4.1 times and in 2017 amounting to 4.8 times a year. FATO (Fixed Asset Turn Over) in 2017 is 6.2 times and 2017 is 8.2 times a year. Both are above the industry average which shows that the performance of this business is in good condition. NPM (Net Profit Margin) in 2016 was 61% and 2017 was 46%. NPM is above the industry standard which means that the company's financial performance is in a good category. 2017 ROE (Return On Equity) is 22% and 2016 is 26%. 2016 ROA (Return On Total Assets) was 26% and 2017 amounted to 22%. Both are below industry standards which show the company's financial performance is not good.*eprm*.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze and to compare the added value and profit of processing “salak” to “dodol salak” based on type of harvesting. This research was conducted for 3 months from April to June 2018 at UD Mandiri in Pangu I Village, Ratahan District, Southeast Minahasa. Data used are primary data obtained by interviewing to business owner using questionnaires. Data analysis of the data used is added value with the formula of NTp = (NTp = Na - (Bb + Bp + Bbp) and profit analysis using the formula π = (π = TR – TC). Results showed that businnes of “dodol salak” generate added value at big harvest (panen raya) is Rp. 19,399,652.78, at medium harvest (panen sedang) is Rp. 18,649,652.78, and at small harvest (panen kecil) is Rp. 17,749,652.78. The business profits of “dodol salak” at the big harvest (panen raya) is Rp.8,499,652.78, at medium harvest (panen sedang) is Rp.7,749,652.78, and at small harvest (panen kecil) is Rp. 6,849,652.78. The highest added value of “dodol salak” at big harvest (panen raya) was 9.30 percent greater than at small harvest (panen kecil), and 4.02 percent that at the medium harvest (panen sedang). The highest business profit from “dodol salak” at the big harvest (panen raya) which was greater 24.09 percent than at the small harvest (panen kecil), and 9.68 percent than at the medium harvest (panen sedang). *llr+eprm*.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the impact of the Agricultural Production Facility Assistance Program on Chili Farmers' Income in Kauneran Village, Sonder District. Data collection is conducted from March to May 2018. The selection of farmer groups is done purposefully, namely the recipient farmer groups. This study uses primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from direct interviews with respondents based on a list of questions (questionnaires) that have been prepared in advance and observations. Interviews were conducted on 20 respondents, namely all Kalelon group members as a recipient group of aid programs. Secondary data obtained through the internet by using google searching to access scientific journal articles and thesis from other universities has to do with the topic of this research which is about the impact of aid programs. The results showed that there were significant income differences, based on the t-test, between before and after receiving the aid program where the income of farmers after receiving assistance was greater than before receiving their assistance. The conclusion of this study is that the aid program has a positive impact because it increases farmers' income. *er+eprm*

Abstract

This study aims to look at the impact of Bukit Kasih tourism objects on the income of the people of Kanonang Dua Village who did business on the tourist attraction area. This research was carried out for 3 months from namely May to July 2018. The data used was primary data, through direct interviews with 30 respondents, namely those who run businesses in the Bukit Kasih Tourism Area. Secondary data obtained through the internet by using google searching to access scientific journal articles and thesis from other universities that relevant with the research. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This study used an analysis of the average difference through the t-test, the impact was measured by comparing income before and after doing business in the tourism area. The results showed that there was a significant increase in income for the people who doing business at the Bukit Kasih Tourism Area. The average income of the community before doing business in the tourist area was Rp. 883,333 per month and increased to Rp. 2,390,000 per month after doing business in the Bukit Kasih Tourism Area. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the performance of the cocoa agribusiness system in the North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was carried out for 6 months from January to June 2018. Theresearch location was chosen purposively where Kaidipang District and Bolaang Itang District were the centers of cocoa production in North Sulawesi. The samples taken were all members of the two Farmer Groups selected from the two selected sub-districts namely the Tolerant Farmers Group and the Advanced Advanced Farmers Group. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with 16 respondents from the Joint Advanced Farmers Group and 19 respondents from the Tolerant Farmers Group so that the total respondents were 35 people. Interviews are conducted based on a list of questions that have been prepared previously. Direct observations are also made regarding plant cultivation and maintenance activities. Secondary data was obtained from the relevant agencies regarding the production data and the size area of cocoa land obtained from the Plantation Office and the Central Statistics Agency. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that upstream agribusiness agri-business activities in the form of use of sprayers, scissors, knives, lawn mowers, fertilizers and pesticides. The activities of the agriproduction subsystem in the form of cultivation techniques include the use of production facilities and cultivation technologies such as continuous entries. On subsystem activity. downstream agri industry, farmers are still in a simple stage where fruit processing still uses sun-drying techniques. While in the farmer'sagricultural system activities, it sells cocoa to village traders and district traders. The supporting subsystem has not yet worked on all subsystems, as in the subsystem of the management role of the supporting institutions it has not played a role in causing farmers to only be price recipients. The cocoa agribusiness system has occured but has not worked efficiently.*eprm*

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of the "Potato Modoinding" french fries business in the city of Manado. This research was carried out in April 2018. The data used are primary data obtained from interviews with owners and business actors (two people) in the form of data: the amount of production, selling price, and investment costs. Data analysis was performed using Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B / C Ratio), Payback Period (PP) and Sensitivity Analysis. The results showed this business was feasible to operate with a value of NPV = 14,045,877, IRR = 0.7623%, Net B / C Ratio = 2.309065, PP = 5 months. The business feasibility limit is when the price of potato raw materials rises by 55%.*eprm*

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the break even point or break even point of tomato farming in Taraitak Satu Village, Langowan Utara Districk. This study was conducted for 3 months by taking 20 respondents. This sampling process is conducted by simple random sampling. The results showed that at the  prevailing price lvel and the proction result acheved, the tomato farmers in taraitak 1 village earned an income fo RP 1.942.822 in one planting. The break-even point (BEB value) of tomato farming in one planting in Taraitak 1 village is achieved at a value of IDR 1.055.181. The amount of production that must be obtained by tomato farmers in Taraitak 1 Village in order to break even is 179 kg at a price per kg level of IDR 5,893, and the price per kg of tomatoes that must be obtained by farmers in Taraitak 1 Village in order to break even is IDR 584 , or in other words, the minimum price for tomatoes in Taraitak 1 Village is IDR584 at a production level of 1.808 kg.
