Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of the Family Welfare Empowerment Institution (PKK or FWE) in enhancing women's capacity through the 10 main programs of PKK and to find out how to increasewomen's capacity through the application of 10 main PKK programs. The location of this study was in the Sea from June to August 2018. Data collection was carried out by interview technique directly to 30 respondents based on the questionnaire prepared in advance. The results obtained from this study using the Likert scale analysis showed that the FWE (PKK) Institution of the Sea Village, Pineleng Sub-district, Minahasa District in increasing women's capacity based on the 10 main programs of Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) was in a total score of 880 with an interpretation of 88.88 % or categorized as a play role, and the capacity of women in the Sea Village of Pinelang District, Minahasa District through the application of the 10 main programs of Family Welfare Empowerment in a total score of 1,021 with an interpretation of 87.26% or categorized as increasing.*eprm*.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of farmer groups on members of the Kelelondei Indah Farmers Group in Ampreng Village, Langowan Barat District, Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted for 3 months from October to December 2018. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. Primary data collection through direct interviews to 20 respondents based on questionnaires that have been prepared previously. Secondary data was obtained from the Ampreng Village office and from google searching to get relevant theses. The results showed that the role of farmer groups on members of the Kelelondei Indah Farmers Group was generally good because of the 9 roles there were 7 roles categorized as good. They are increasing productivity to increase income, developing self-sufficiency in farming, teaching and learning containers for members, cooperating in facing threats among fellow farmers, achieving economies of scale together in terms of quality, a place to strengthen farmer cooperation, develop farming business carried out by members of farmer groups. While there are 2 roles categorized as not good, namely a place to strengthen cooperation between farmer groups and other parties, and develop farming business which is carried out together as a group business entity. *eprm*

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the contribution of sweet corn farming to family income and the amount of contribution included in what category. The research location was in Kalasey Village, Mandolang District, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province. Data collection was conducted from March to May 2019. Sampling was carried out in a population of 12 sweet corn farmers. This research uses primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected through direct interviews with sweet corn farmers. Secondary data were obtained from the Kalasey Village Office. Data analysis uses the contribution contribution formula. The results showed that the level of contribution of sweet corn farming was 22.02% which was classified in the medium category.
