Abstract

Transformator daya adalah bagian integral dari hampir semua jaringan penyaluran daya listrik mulai dari pembangkitan sampai ke pengguna energi listrik (jaringan transmisi dan distribusi). Pelayanan yang baik merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam suplai daya listrik. Ada sejumlah faktor yang menggganggu operasi sebuah transformator, diantaranya adalah keberadaan harmonisa listrik dalam sistem tenaga listrik. Perkembangan penggunaan beban-beban listrik non linear yang sejalan dengan perkembangan pengunaan komponen dan peralatan berbasiskan pada konverter daya. Tulisan ini memberikan kajian pengaruh harmonisa terhadap unjuk kerja dari sebuah transformator dengan adanya harmonisa yang dikhususkan atas adanya DC bias.Analisis dilakukan lewat Simulasi menggunakan software MATLAB dan verifikasi dilakukan lewat data eksperimental. Hasil menujukkan keluaran simulasi bersesuain dengan data pengujian langsung. DC bias mengakibatkan pola harmonisa orde genap juga menjadi lebih signifikan.

Abstract

The scarcity of fertilizers in Indonesia makes it difficult for farmers to find alternative fertilizers, the causes are subsidized fertilizers which are difficult to obtain, and the high cost of non-subsidized fertilizers making it burdensome for farmers. Most of the community professionals in Sungai Ular Village are farmers and the lack of availability of fertilizers and the heavy economic value of inorganic fertilizers. Based on the potential of Sungai Ular Village, Secanggang District, the raw materials for making organic fertilizer can utilize Hydrilla verticillata plants, livestock faeces and rice straw. The organic fertilizer produced can be used for traditional cultivation. The results of this community service activity, in addition to ready-to-use organic fertilizers, are horticultural crops such as kale, spinach, curly red chillies, tomatoes, basil, etc. The resulting horticultural crops are expected to increase partner agricultural yields which can increase income and support the entrepreneurial spirit of partners in optimally utilizing village potential. Community Service Activities can empower the community to realise independence and prosperity and maintain environmental sustainability by reducing the use of inorganic fertilizers (chemical fertilizers) by optimally utilizing the potential of Sungai Ular Village, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency.

Abstract

Covid-19 has spread throughout the country, and resulted in a pandemic. This virus infects the respiratory system. The affected Indonesian people have more than 4 million people. The incidence rate in Medan City has reached 47,000 cases. Prevention efforts to strengthen the immune system is the Covid-19 vaccination. Even though the vaccine is declared safe, there are still people who don't want to be vaccinated. Rejection also comes from a group of educated people. This hinders the success of the National Covid-19 Vaccination Program. Vaccination efforts can be successful if carried out simultaneously, so as to form herd immunity. Community empowerment carried out by providing education about Covid-19; the benefits of vaccination; and about herd immunity. They are also invited to vaccinate. People want to vaccinate because they have confidence and understand the information provided. This activity increases the number of vaccination implementations in partner work areas. Until now, the total number of vaccinations has reached 30,500. The plan for the next stage is monitoring community participation in the implementation of vaccinations, as well as conveying information on the benefits of Covid-19 vaccination through videos and online media.

Abstract

Analisis kerentanan air tanah dilakukan sebagai upaya awal untuk mengatasi penurunan potensi air tanah yang mempengaruhi tinggi muka air tanah, debit air tanah, penurunan permukaan/tanah, dan kualitas air tanah yang dapat menimbulkan pencemaran. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan analisis kerentanan air tanah untuk menjadi acuan dalam pengelolaan air tanah. Hal ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Metode GOD. Metode GOD (Groundwater Occurrence, Overlaying Lithology and Depth of Groundwater) dilakukan untuk mengkaji kerentanan air tanah di sekitar TPA Terjun di Kota Medan. Metode GOD merupakan metode untuk mengkaji tiga parameter yaitu jenis akuifer, jenis litologi di atas akuifer dan kedalaman muka air tanah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis parameter GOD dari ke tiga parameter maka diperoleh nilai dari indeks GOD adalah 0,5 yang menunjukkan kerentanan air tanah berada pada menengah/sedang).

Abstract

Lau borus is an outlet located on Lau Kawar Lake. The location of lau borus is located at the foot of mount sinabung where this mountain has experienced quite high eruptive activity for several years. Determination of the status of water quality in these waters using the Pollution Index Method following the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment number 115 of 2003 and the Regulation of the Minister of Health Number 32 of 2017. The parameters that will be tested in this study are TDS, pH, Fe, SO4, COD, BOD, Cu, Cl, Pb, NH3, Total Coliform. The study was conducted at 3 sample points taken by purposive sampling. The average results of the calculation of the Lau Borus Waters Pollution Index method Outlet Lau Kawar Lightly Polluted Lake (scores from 1.86 to 2.19). While the results of Permenkes number 32 of 2017 the total coliform results show that this value has exceeded the average value. These results indicate that the quality status is influenced by pollutants from Iron (Fe) and Total Coliform which are above the quality standard. The relationship between the eruption activity of Mount Sinabung and the quality of Lau Borus during sampling did not cause a significant pollution impact from volcanic ash pollutants. The cause of Lau Borus pollution is from the wind direction. The percentage results from the eruption wind direction towards Lake Lau Kawar. the direction of the lake with the opposite direction is 1: 8. The eruption towards the Lau Borus Outlet, Lake Lau Kawar, is relatively small compared to the opposite direction.
