Abstract

This study aims to analyze OHS hazard risks associated with heavy equipment operations at Train Loading Station Projects 6 and 7 in South Sumatra. This study employed a descriptive design with a qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of 10 selected participants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and document review. Risk analysis was conducted using the HIRADC approach, which includes hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control, based on the OHS guidelines implemented at the project site.The results indicate that multiple hazards are associated with heavy equipment operations, including being struck by equipment, caught-in/between incidents, being hit by falling materials, and equipment overturning. The identified risk levels ranged from moderate to high, influenced by unsafe acts and unsafe working conditions. Recommended risk control measures include the implementation of the hierarchy of controls, such as engineering improvements, enhanced supervision, OHS training, and consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendahuluan : Tuberkulosis paru (TB) adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh mycobacterium tuberculosis. TB menyerang paru-paru dan dapat menginfeksi orang lain. Tujuan penleitian : mengetahui faktor resiko kualitas fisik rumah dan kebiasaan merokok terhadap insiden TB paru di wilayah kerja puskesmas sekapuk kabupaten gresik tahun 2025. Metode : Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode analitik observasional dan desain case control. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sampel kasus sebanyak 35 ditambah sampel kontrol (responden tidak terkena TB Paru) sebanyak 70 anak. Hasil dan Kesimpulan: Faktor kepadatan hunian tidak memiliki faktor resiko terhadap insiden TB paru. Faktor ventilasi memiliki faktor resiko terhadap insiden TB paru. Faktor pencahayaan tidak memiliki faktor resiko terhadap insiden TB paru. Faktor suhu tidak memiliki faktor resiko terhadap insiden TB paru. Faktor kelembaban memiliki faktor resiko terhadap insiden TB paru. Jenis lantai tidak memiliki faktor resiko terhadap insiden TB paru. Faktor kebiasaan merokok tidak memiliki faktor resiko terhadap insiden TB paru. Kata kunci : Faktor Resiko, lingkungan fisik rumah, kebiasaan merokok. ABSTRACT Introduction: Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is a disease caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis. TB attacks the lungs and can infect others. The purpose of the study: to determine the risk factors of physical quality of the house and smoking habits on the incidence of pulmonary TB in the working area of ​​the Sekapuk Community Health Center, Gresik Regency in 2025. Method: The type of research used in this study is quantitative with observational analytical methods and case control design. The number of samples in this study was 35 case samples plus 70 control samples (respondents not affected by pulmonary TB). Results and Conclusions: The residential density factor does not have a risk factor on the incidence of pulmonary TB. The ventilation factor has a risk factor on the incidence of pulmonary TB. The lighting factor does not have a risk factor on the incidence of pulmonary TB. The temperature factor does not have a risk factor on the incidence of pulmonary TB. The humidity factor has a risk factor on the incidence of pulmonary TB. The type of floor does not have a risk factor on the incidence of pulmonary TB. The smoking habit factor does not have a risk factor on the incidence of pulmonary TB. Keywords : Risk factors, physical home environment, smoking habits
