Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of research is to determine the effect of motivation on employeeperformance with work stress as the moderating variable. The study conducted at HardRock Hotel Bali involving 85 respondents, using Simple Random Sampling. Dataanalysis techniques are validity, reliability, classical assumption, multiple linearanalysis, multiple correlation analysis, Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA),determination analysis, and F-test. Motivation has a positive and significant influenceon employee performance at Hard Rock Hotel Bali. This is proven through multipleregression analysis Ŷ = 2.730 + 1.054X1. Analysis of multiple determinations,motivation contributed equal to 71.7% to employee performance at Hard Rock HotelBali. Work stress moderates the effect of motivation significantly on employeeperformance at Hard Rock Hotel Bali. This is proven through Moderation RegretionAnalysis (MRA) Ŷ = -2.453 + 2.115X1 + 0.411X2 - 0.053. Analysis of multipledeterminations, work stress moderating the influence of motivation contributed equalto 86.2% to employee performance at Hard Rock Hotel Bali. Conclusion of work stressmoderates the effect of motivation on employee performance at Hard Rock Hotel Balibecause the R square value of the regression II = 86.2% greater than the regressionI = 71.7% and the value of the moderation coefficient = -0.053 then the work stressvariable weakens the influence motivation on employee performanceKeywords: motivation, work stress, employee performance.ABSTRAKPenelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Motivasi terhadap KinerjaKaryawan dengan Stres Kerja sebagai Variabel Moderasi. Penelitian dilakukan di HardRock Hotel Bali dengan responden sebanyak 85 orang, menggunakan Simple RandomSampling. Penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan batastoleransi kesalahan 10%. Teknik analisa data menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas,uji asumsi klasik, analisis linier berganda, analisis korelasi berganda, ModeratedRegression Analysis (MRA), analisis determinasi, uji F-test dengan menggunakanbantuan program SPSS 24.0 for Windows. Motivasi memberikan pengaruh positif dansignifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di Hard Rock Hotel Bali. Hal ini ditunjukkan olehpersamaan regresi berganda Ŷ = 2,730 + 1,054X1. Selanjutnya, motivasi memberikankontribusi sebesar 71,7% terhadap kinerja karyawan di Hard Rock Hotel Bali. Streskerja memoderasi secara signifikan pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan DiHard Rock Hotel Bali. Hal ini di tunjukkan dalam Moderation Regresion Analysis (MRA)Ŷ = -2,453 + 2,115X1 + 0,411X2 – 0,053. Stres kerja memoderasi pengaruh motivasiterhadap kinerja karyawan di Hard Rock Hotel Bali dengan kontribusi sebesar 86,2%.Stres kerja memoderasi pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di Hard RockHotel Bali dengan nilai R square pada model regresi II sebesar 86,2%, lebih besar darimodel regresi I = 71,7% dan nilai koefisien moderasi = -0,053 maka variabel streskerja memperlemah pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan.Kata kunci: Motivasi, Stres kerja, Kinerja Karyawan.
