Abstract

This research was conducted to examine and analyze the mediating role of customer satisfaction in the influence of brand equity and trust on customer loyalty. The method used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the SmartPLS application. The population in this study are customers of The Great Asia Africa, totaling 196 respondents. Therefore, respondents in this study were customers of The Great Asia Africa, totaling 100 people or approximately half of the customer population of The Great Asia Africa. The author took a sample of 100 respondents following the theory of Frankel and Wallen (1993) which suggests the minimum sample size for descriptive research is 100 people. This research method was carried out using the Descriptive Research Design model with data collection methods using a questionnaire. The test results show that Customer Trust has no significant effect on Customer Loyalty with the intervening variable of Customer Satisfaction, Brand Equity has no significant effect on Customer Loyalty with the intervening variable of Customer Satisfaction, Customer Trust has a positive effect on Customer Loyalty, and Brand Equity has a positive effect on Customer Loyalty.

Abstract

The rapid growth of cryptocurrency markets in Indonesia has attracted millions of retail investors, yet the behavioral and motivational factors that drive individual investment decisions in this context remain insufficiently understood. This study examines the simultaneous influence of five variables, namely investment experience, motivation, risk perception, investment interest, and financial literacy, on cryptocurrency investment decisions among Indonesian retail investors. A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed, with data collected from 168 respondents drawn from an active Indonesian cryptocurrency investment community forum through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire administered in February 2023. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS version 23 to test six hypotheses. The results confirm that all five variables jointly and significantly influence cryptocurrency investment decisions, with the integrated model explaining 96 percent of the total variance in investment decisions. Among individual predictors, motivation emerged as the dominant positive influence, followed by risk perception and investment interest, while investment experience contributed a smaller but statistically significant positive effect. Financial literacy was the only variable to exert a significant negative effect, indicating that more financially literate investors exhibit greater caution toward cryptocurrency participation. These findings support, extend, and in the case of financial literacy partially contradict prior empirical studies, contributing an integrative multi-factor framework to the growing literature on cryptocurrency investment behavior in emerging markets. The study offers practical implications for investors, financial educators, and policymakers working to strengthen investor protection and financial decision-making quality within Indonesia's rapidly expanding digital asset ecosystem.

Abstract

The fairly large demand for rice is not supported by the attraction of farming. The government's role in helping farming by providing subsidies for subsidized fertilizer amounting to around IDR 33 trillion each year or around IDR 330 trillion in the last 10 years has had no impact on agricultural productivity. Research using quantitative methods in Lempuing District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra Province with a sample size of 200 respondents carried out identification and evaluation using the 5M management element approach, namely Money which is represented by the ability to provide land area, Materials (seeds, Fertilizers and Pepticides), Man, review labor requirements, Machine is the use of machinery or agricultural machinery equipment and Method is a method of implementing the frequency of rice planting in one year. The results of research using the Structural Equation Model method with the help of the SmartPLS application program provide the conclusion that: 1. Utilization of modernization of agricultural machinery (Machine) as the main priority in increasing profitability. Modern machines have a positive effect and replace the role of labor (Man) which has a negative effect because agricultural labor is less attractive and has high costs. Assistance with the availability of modern machine equipment is the main solution for areas that have not received it. 2. Land area (Money) is also vital in farming, because a proportional land area will have an impact on profitability and efficiency in material costs and machine rental utilization. Ownership of land area for agricultural use in accordance with the average per capita household expenditure needs is a minimum of 1.75 Ha for those who have their own land and 3.16 Ha for rice farming using a land rental system.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of service quality and price on brand image, and the subsequent impact on consumers’ purchase intention within the Tokopedia e-commerce platform in the DKI Jakarta region. A quantitative approach with a causal research design was employed, with data collected through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 187 respondents selected via incidental sampling. Data were analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with LISREL 8.8 software. The findings confirm that all five hypotheses are supported at the 5% significance level. Service quality emerged as the strongest predictor of brand image (β = 0.66; t = 10.29), while brand image proved to be the strongest predictor of purchase intention (β = 0.47; t = 5.39). Mediation analysis reveals that brand image functions as a partial mediator: the indirect effect of service quality on purchase intention through brand image (0.310) substantially exceeds its direct effect (0.190), while the indirect effect of price (0.122) complements its direct effect (0.250). The coefficients of determination of 74% and 70% for the respective structural equations indicate strong model fit. These findings imply that a synergistic marketing strategy integrating service quality enhancement, competitive pricing, and brand image strengthening constitutes the most effective approach to stimulating purchase intention on digital marketplace platforms in Indonesia.
